For the complex interpolation functors associated with derivatives of analytic functions, the Calderón fundamental inequality is formulated in both additive and multiplicative forms; discretization, reiteration, the Calderón-Lozanovskiĭ construction for Banach lattices, and the Aronszajn-Gagliardo construction concerning minimality and maximality are presented. These more general complex interpolation functors are closely connected with the real and other interpolation functors via function parameters which are quasi-powers with a logarithmic factor.

The characterisation using truncated moments limits the observations; hence, researchers may save time and cost. In this paper, the characterisation of three general forms of continuous distributions based on doubly truncated moments has been studied. The results are given simply and explicitly. Further, the results have been applied to some well-known continuous distributions.

The article presents an analysis of the technical condition of the two blades with different technical conditions (for medium and low wear). It is shown that the evaluation of the blades basis only on the endoscopic research does not provide full information about the technical condition (known only the external condition of the blades). Proposed supplement endoscopic examinations of is the use of two parametric methods (the blades are tested during operation of rotating machine) based on the auto and cross power spectral density functions for the signal measured as displacement of the rotor blade tip y(t). As result of these methods is the portrait of the blades was obtained (in the form of clear colour images providing a degree of a wear), which also includes the internal condition of the blades. The additional complement to parametric methods may be nonparametric method. Auto and cross power spectral density functions (obtained from measurement of the blade tip movement) is a basis to determine the characteristics (abstract step and impulse responses) of each blade. Both parametric methods which nonparametric method clearly confirmed that the technical condition of first considered blade (no. 2) differs from the technical condition of the second blade (no. 22).

The paper presents fundamentals of a new method for monitoring of technical condition demonstrated by blades of rotor machines during operation there of. The method involves the diagnostic model expressed as a qutient of the amplitude amplification for the diagnostic signaly (t) that results from the blade impact and the signal x(t) produced by the blade surrounding when the blade tip approaches the sensor, divided by the amplitude amplification of these signals when the blade tip has already passed the sensor position and moves away. The adopted diagnostic model takes account for current surrounding of the blade x(t) with no need of measurements of its parameters [12, 14]. Thus, the model is sensitive to alterations of the technical condition demonstrated by the blade but very little vulnerable to variations in the blade surroundings. Consequently, the proposed method may be able to play an important role for diagnostics of rotor blades during operation there of. The presented method applicable to monitoring of changes in technical condition of a blade is an innovative approach to carry out diagnostic of the blade in its natural environment with no need to measure signals from that environment.

Opis:
Against the background of increasing installed capacity of wind power in the power generation system, high-precision ultra-short-term wind power prediction is significant for safe and reliable operation of the power generation system. We present a method for ultra-short-term wind power prediction based on a copula function, bivariate empirical mode decomposition (BEMD) algorithm and gated recurrent unit (GRU) neural network. First we use the copula function to analyze the nonlinear correlation between wind power and external factors to extract the key factors influencing wind power generation. Then the joint data composed of the key factors and wind power are decomposed into a series of stationary subsequence data by a BEMD algorithm which can decompose the bivariate data jointly. Finally, the prediction model based on a GRU network uses the decomposed data as the input to predict the power output in the next four hours. The experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively improve the accuracy of ultra-short-term wind power prediction.

The paper presents a proposal of accounting the mean stress value in the process of fatigue life assessment using spectral method in terms of monitoring the fatigue life of mechatronic elements. The existing approaches are being discussed, and some chosen stress models used to take into account the influence of the mean stress value in the process of the determination of fatigue life are being introduced. The authors refer to a broad range of widely used models proposed by Soderberg, Goodman, Morrow, Gerber, and Kwofie. Those models can be used to determine the Power Spectral Density Function (PSDF) of the stress after transformation due to the mean value. Such a transformation is of great importance in fatigue life assessment with spectral method since PSDF is the quantity which defines loading and should also include information about mean stress. Determination of power spectral density of transformed stress allows the use of well-known models used in the spectral method, which in principle does not include the effect of the mean stress on fatigue life.
Praca przedstawia propozycję uwzględniania wartości średniej naprężenia w procesie wyznaczania trwałości zmęczeniowej przy wykorzystaniu metody spektralnej w odniesieniu do monitorowania trwałości zmęczeniowej elementów mechatronicznych. Opisano obecne podejścia oraz przedstawiono część wybranych modeli uwzględnienia wartości średniej naprężenia w procesie obliczania trwałości zmęczeniowej. Autorzy odnoszą się do szerokiej gamy stosowanych modeli zaproponowanych m.in. przez Soderberga, Goodmana, Morrowa, Gerbera oraz Kwofie'go. Te modele mogą zostać wykorzystane w celu wyznaczenia Gęstości Widmowej Mocy (GWM) naprężenia po transformacji ze względu na wartość średnią. Taka transformacja jest bardzo ważna w wyznaczaniu trwałości zmęczeniowej przy użyciu metody spektralnej, ponieważ Funkcja Gęstości Widmowej Mocy (FGWM) jest wielkością, która definiuje obciążenie (przy czym powinna również uwzględniać informacje o wartości średniej). Wyznaczanie Gęstości Widmowej Mocy transformowanego naprężenia pozwala na wykorzystanie znanych modeli uwzględnienia wartości średniej w metodzie spektralnej, która zasadniczo nie obejmuje wpływu wartości średniej naprężenia na trwałość zmęczeniową.

Introduction. The problem of determining the formula for $P_S(n)$, the number of partitions of an integer into elements of a finite set S, that is, the number of solutions in non-negative integers, $h_{s₁},..., h_{s_k}$, of the equation h_{s₁} s₁ + ... + h_{s_k} s_k = n,
was solved in the nineteenth century (see Sylvester [4] and Glaisher [3] for detailed accounts). The solution is the coefficient of$xⁿ in [(1-x^{s₁})... (1-x^{s_k})]^{-1}, expressions for which they derived. Wright [5] indicated a simpler method by which to find part of the solution (at least in the case $s_i=i$). The current paper gives a simple method by which the power-series expansion of a rational function may be derived. Lemma 1 is well known and gives the general form of the solution. Lemma 2 is also well known. See, for example, Andrews [1], Example 2, p. 98. Lemma 3 shows how the recurrence relation of Lemma 2 becomes of bounded degree in certain cases. The recurrence relation is then solved, and the solution is extended from these certain cases to all cases. We then apply the result to investigate the growth of the difference $P_S(n) - P_T(n)$, where S and T are finite sets, and in particular when this difference is bounded. The differences $P_S^{(0)}(n) - P_T^{(0)}(n)$ and $P_S^{(1)}(n) - P_T^{(1)}(n)$ are also considered, where $P_S^{(0)}$ (resp. $P_S^{(1)}$) denotes the number of partitions of n into elements of S with an even (resp. odd) number of parts.

The power distribution internet of things (PD-IoT) has the complex network architecture, various emerging services, and the enormous number of terminal devices, which poses rigid requirements on substrate network infrastructure. However, the traditional PD-IoT has the characteristics of single network function, management and maintenance difficulties, and poor service flexibility, which makes it hard to meet the differentiated quality of service (QoS) requirements of different services. In this paper, we propose the software-defined networking (SDN)- enabled PD-IoT framework to improve network compatibility and flexibility, and investigate the virtual network function (VNF) embedding problem of service orchestration in PD-IoT. To solve the preference conflicts among different VNFs towards the network function node (NFV) and provide differentiated service for services in various priorities, a matching-based priority-aware VNF embedding (MPVE) algorithm is proposed to reduce energy consumption while minimizing the total task processing delay. Simulation results demonstrate that MPVE significantly outperforms existing matching algorithm and random matching algorithm in terms of delay and energy consumption while ensuring the task processing requirements of high-priority services.

In this paper, transient stability of power systems with structure preserving models is considered. A Hamiltonian function which can be regarded as a Lyapunov function for the system is proposed. Based on this, the influence of flux decay dynamics, especially during a fault, on transient stability is analyzed. With the increase of load power, the variation of stability boundary in the rotor angle/Eq plane is shown. The Energy-based excitation control, aiming at injecting additional damping into the post-fault system may reduce the critical clearing time (CCT). This can be demonstrated by the comparison of different flux decay dynamics in the fault-on condition, and the reason is illustrated by the relationship between rotor angle/Eq and the stability boundary. An improved control strategy is proposed and applied to increase the CCT. Simulation results verify that improvement is obtained both in transient stability and dynamic performance.

The transfer function (TF) method is presently a well-known method used to detect various types of winding damage in power transformers. Although abundant research has been done on this subject using laboratory windings as test objects, it is hard to find one, whose test objects are actual large-power transformer windings. Hence, a 400 kV disc winding consisting of 86 discs is used in this paper to study turn-to-turn short circuit with the help of the TF method. To evaluate the effects of this type of fault on TF curves, some mathematical comparison algorithms are used in this research.

Face recognition is a biometric identification method which compared to other methods, such as finger print identification, speech, signature, hand written and iris recognition is shown to be more noteworthy both theoretically and practically. Biometric identification methods have various applications such as in film processing, control access networks, among many. The automatic recognition of a human face has become an important problem in pattern recognition, due to (1) the structural similarity of human faces, and (2) great impact of factors such as illumination conditions, facial expression and face orientation. These have made face recognition one of the most challenging problems in pattern recognition. Appearance-based methods are one of the most common methods in face recognition, which can be categorized into linear and nonlinear methods. In this paper face recognition using Canonical Correlation Analysis is introduced, along with the review of the linear and nonlinear appearance-based methods. Canonical Correla- tion Analysis finds the linear combinations between two sets of variables which have maximum correlation with one another. Discriminant Power analysis and Fractional Multiple Discriminant Analysis has been used to extract features from the image. The results provided in this paper show the advantage of this method compared to other methods in this field.
