Opis:
The number of different cell types (NCT) characterizing an organism is often used to quantify organismic complexity. This method results in the tautology that more complex organisms have a larger number of different kinds of cells, and that organisms with more different kinds of cells are more complex. This circular reasoning can be avoided (and simultaneously tested) when NCT is plotted against different measures of organismic information content (e.g., genome or proteome size). This approach is illustrated by plotting the NCT of representative diatoms, green and brown algae, land plants, invertebrates, and vertebrates against data for genome size (number of base-pairs), proteome size (number of amino acids), and proteome functional versatility (number of intrinsically disordered protein domains or residues). Statistical analyses of these data indicate that increases in NCT fail to keep pace with increases in genome size, but exceed a one-to-one scaling relationship with increasing proteome size and with increasing numbers of intrinsically disordered protein residues. We interpret these trends to indicate that comparatively small increases in proteome (and not genome size) are associated with disproportionate increases in NCT, and that proteins with intrinsically disordered domains enhance cell type diversity and thus contribute to the evolution of complex multicellularity.

The given paper presents the results of the research of the entities that manage share institution with joint investments and take part in its formation and functioning, in particular Management Company, Monitoring Council, investors, and an investment consultant was offered as an additional participant at the financial market. It was determined that there should be the licensed activity, the result of employing: the increase of the liability and objectivity of the regulation’s expertise of the investment fund, minimizing risks for investors that will help to provide more effective investment process. The general system of the state regulation of the activity of such funds at the financial market was described , interrelations between the subjects of the investments, the order of taking decisions was set to define the strategic aims and choose appropriate investment projects, the direction of the financial and property assets. Their place in the given system as interrelations was characterized. Types of the information streams between the subjects of the investment fund were defined and described their interrelations. Every subject’s functional purpose was determined, and also the typical functions for share institutions with joint investments, namely general-social and protective function for investors’ economic interests, informational and regulating. The general level and the tendencies of current investment market in Ukraine were examined, taking into the account international experience and the dynamic of internal market, further recommendations are attached on the improvement of regulatory basis of the financial market for extending types of investment funds and financial instruments for engaging as many investments into the Ukrainian financial market as possible.

Innovation determines expansion or just existence of enterprises. It’s an important element of competitive advantage and it is a characteristic that encourages customers to buy novelties. Unfortunately, with innovation activity closely related is uncertainty risk, that means insecurity that costly process of creating innovation solutions will succeed. By dint of necessity of high costs of innovation activity, only small percent of enterprises have their own research and develop-ment buck-up. More and more popular become external sources of information for innovative activity, such as: customers, research and development networks, con-ferences, scientist publications and journals. The paper presents sources of infor-mation used by polish enterprises in innovation activity, classify them and show its essence and importance. Main attention is put on sources, which according to modern theories of innovation and practice of innovative firms, are the most im-portant, that means internal R&D activity and customers. An additional value of the paper is a discussion on the ways and the sense of measure the influence of chosen sources of information on the process of creation innovations in companies.

Opis:
Martial law is always accompanied by an increased level of tension and threats to national security. In such circumstances, there is a need to respond to specific types of acts that may threaten public safety and national interests. The criminalization of these acts becomes an important tool for preventing and counteracting threats, as well as for establishing responsibility for their commission. In this article, the author analyzed the legal provisions that were adopted as a supplement to the Criminal Code of Ukraine after the start of the full-scale invasion. The author notes that most of the articles in one way or another relate to criminal punishment for acts that occur in the information sphere and are related to the disclosure and dissemination of information, disinformation, unauthorized data transfer, etc. Based on this, the author emphasizes the need to criminalize acts during martial law relating to the digital, information and cyberspace spheres. The criminalization of certain categories of violations during the war is a topical issue, as it is aimed at ensuring the security of the state and preserving its integrity. The legislation should be comprehensively aimed at countering the aggressor and protecting civilians. It is important to note that a large number of innovations in criminalization relate to the information sphere and data transmission. The involvement of information and electronic communication systems in important aspects of modern life, such as healthcare, finance, energy and national security, creates new threats that can have serious consequences for society and the country as a whole. Therefore, in order to ensure stability and protect the rights and interests of citizens and businesses, the need to strengthen criminal liability for violations of information and cybersecurity is justified, among other things. The purpose of the article is to analyze certain types of punishments which were categorized as criminal offenses under martial law. In addition, the purpose of the article is to highlight the special role of criminal acts in the digital and information sphere and to justify the need for their criminalization.

Opis:
Landscape is an area formed by the interactions between humans and nature, which bring various characteristics to the area. Landscape Character Assessment (LCA) methods enable more accurate description, mapping, and evaluation of features within the landscape. Also, landscape characterization and classification is facilitated by the advances of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), which constitute a very efficient tool for analysis and overlay mapping. This paper explores and tests an application of Landscape Character Assessment (LCA) methodology at a regional scale in Ziban region, Algeria, combining natural and cultural attributes using GIS. The first stage of overlay of attributes is followed by the verification of draft map involving a visual assessment on-site in order to develop the final classification and assessment describing each landscape character area and type. The study results show that Ziban region has a rich structure with diversified landscapes created by unique natural and cultural landscape values composed of 36 different character areas and 19-character types. The main contribution of this research consists in developing a typology for Ziban landscape and providing useful results for decision-making related to the future management of landscape character in the Algerian context, which has undergone strong pressure related to urbanization, industry, transport, desertification, and tourism.

Opis:
In this paper there is a proposition of different ways of construction of distribution model of phenomenon, than the ones in which it is assumed that tha spatial distribution of parameters is described by the same function of distribution in each place of the area. It was assumed that the closer the measurement point is the probability that information transfer in the neighborhood is correct, is greater. Secondly, it was asumed that in the areas of similar topographic conditions, informtaion transfer of the value of parameter measured in point to its surroundings is more probable than when other factors change e.g. land cover, height above the sea level etc. Present proposition is aggregate geometric basic units of the system in adequate areas on the grounds of their affiliation to certain regions. Such areas will have similar topographic conditions. They can also be a basis for the analysis of distribution of other environment-dependent phenomena, such as different types of pollution, soil erosion, climate, vegetation and so on. Classification can be used to evaluate the usability of areas for different purposes, forecasting the outcome of investments and the like. Selectin of the reference unit, which fulfill the needs, details level and accuracy of the compilation scale are a very important point of the construction of the spatial information system.
