Opis:
Faster R-CNN is an algorithm development that continuously starts from CNN then R-CNN and Faster R-CNN. The development of the algorithm is needed to test whether the heuristic algorithm has optimal provisions. Broadly speaking, faster R-CNN is included in algorithms that are able to solve neural network and machine learning problems to detect a moving object. One of the moving objects in the current phenomenon is the use of masks. Where various countries in the world have issued endemic orations after the Covid 19 pandemic occurred. Detection tool has been prepared that has been tested at the mandatory mask door, namely for mask users. In this paper, the role of the Faster R-CNN algorithm has been carried out to detect masks poured on Internet of Thinks (IoT) devices to automatically open doors for standard mask users. From the results received that testing on the detection of moving mask objects when used reaches 100% optimal at a distance of 0.5 to 1 meter and 95% at a distance of 1.5 to 2 meters so that the process of sending detection signals to IoT devices can be carried out at a distance of 1 meter at the position mask users to automatic doors.

Opis:
The expansion of technology in all fields of human activity is progressing. Undoubtedly, security is a sphere where new solutions and devices are much needed. For example, unmanned and controlled flying vehicles are already known and used by security actors. However, thanks to the joint efforts of the scientific and research, technical and security communities, novel solutions with a specific purpose of protecting people continue to be developed. Such an effort is the European project FASTER (“First Responder Advanced Technologies for Safe and EfficienT Emergency Response”), which deals with new technologies for rescuers at the scene of a crisis. Among other things, this project has developed new drone applications. These include drone swarming, active terrain mapping, distracting an attacker, searching for people and assisting rescuers (in various ways). Of particular importance is the optimisation of operations, made possible by the common operational picture (COP) system providing communication and command of all technical and personnel resources of the rescue operation

The modern science mainly treats the biochemical basis of sequencing in bio-macromolecules and processes in chemistry and biochemistry. In these informational cybernetic principles we seek to answer the following question: Why hot water freezes faster than cold? These principles determine the freezing point of water. Determine that the hot water freezes faster than cold. What we did is the following: We translated the physical and chemical parameters from the language of water into the digital language of programmatic, cybernetic and information principles. This we did by using the adequate mathematical algorithms. By using chemical-information procedures, we calculated the numerical value for the information content of molecule of water. What we got this way is the digital picture of this molecule. These digital pictures reveal to us a whole new dimension of water. They reveal to us that the chemical process of this molecule is strictly conditioned and determined by programmatic, cybernetic and information principles.

Opis:
The paper deals with increasing performance of a sports car through multicriteria optimization of driver actions (14 decision variables describing application of steering wheel, brake and accelerator pedals). Numerical example considers extreme negotiation of a RH corner (medium grip) with LADA 2105 VFTS (RWD, 106HP) prepared for road racing. Model (called “miMa”) of the vehicle with 26 state variables and 420 parameters was formulated and verified on the basis of road tests. The optimization goal function includes two criteria, i.e. section time and exit velocity. Different driving strategies giving an improvement are found. Changing the driving strategy, according to the obtained optimization results (no21) utilizing genetic algorithms, the section time (tAB) can be reduced by 2.5% and the exit velocity (vB) can increased by 3.5%, what in a competition reality gives a tremendous progress. Formulated “miMA” soft enables also combined optimization of driver actions, vehicle chassis parameters and motion trajectory.

Opis:
This article shows how to use fast Fp2 arithmetic and twisted Hessian curves to obtain faster point scalar multiplication on elliptic curve ESW in short Weierstrass form over Fp. It is assumed that p and #ESW(Fp) are different large primes, #E(Fq) denotes number of points on curve E over field Fq and #Et SW (Fp), where Et is twist of E, is divisible by 3. For example this method is suitable for two NIST curves over Fp: NIST P-224 and NIST P-256. The presented solution may be much faster than classic approach. Presented solution should also be resistant for side channel attacks and information about Y coordinate should not be lost (using for example Brier-Joye ladder such information may be lost). If coefficient A in equation of curve ESW : y2 =x3+Ax+B in short Weierstrass curve is not of special form, presented solution is up to 30% faster than classic approach. If A=−3, proposed method may be up to 24% faster.

Opis:
The aim of the paper is to verify whether a change in innovation model by less-developed regions may speed up development processes and if innovativeness plays crucial role in these processes. Cluster analysis conducted for the years 1994-2014 showed that the majority of lessdeveloped regions in 1994-2000 that experienced significant growth by 2011-2014 changed their innovation models. Logit regression confirmed that innovation factors play a crucial role in high growth rates. The findings suggest that less-developed regions can break out of path dependency by increasing their shares of high-tech industries and employment in science and technology and boosting technology transfer, which usually involves changing and improving their innovation models.

Opis:
Objectives The study has aimed at investigating the subjective assessment of an individual’s health status and comparing the prevalence of selected work-related symptoms among nail technicians occupationally exposed to volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to the one among control subjects. Associations between occupational exposure to VOCs and the incidence of adverse health effects were also analyzed. Material and Methods The study involved 145 female nail technicians and 152 control subjects. Data on the prevalence of adverse health effects was collected using the researcher- made questionnaire and then analyzed by means of survival analysis methods. Results Only 22% of nail technicians as compared to 45% of control subjects described their current health status as “excellent” or “very good” (odds ratio (OR) = 0.4, 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.2–0.6, p < 0.00005). In general, 61% of nail technicians confirmed to have experienced any out of all symptoms considered in the study since the commencement of the job, which was significantly higher as compared to 17% of control subjects (adjusted OR = 2.8, 95% CI: 2.1–3.7, p < 0.0001). Estimated median length of the employment period free of investigated symptoms was significantly shorter among nail technicians as compared to controls (12 years vs. 33 years, p < 0.0001), consistent with almost 4-times increased hazard of the occurrence of such symptoms among the technicians (hazard ratio (HR) = 3.9, 95% CI: 2.7–5.7, p < 0.0001). Cox proportional hazard regression modeling revealed almost 5-times increased hazard of the occurrence of any symptoms among nail technicians exposed to higher levels of the mixture of VOCs as compared to those exposed to lower levels (HR = 4.9, 95% CI: 1–24.1, p = 0.05). Conclusions All outcomes combined together indicate that nail technicians are subject to faster health deterioration, which may be assumed to be caused by occupational exposure to low levels of VOCs.
