A priori theories of justification of logic based on meaning often lead to trouble, in particular to issues concerning circularity. First, I present Boghossian’s a priori view. Boghossian maintains the rule-circular justifications from a conceptual role semantics. However, rule-circular justifications are problematic. Recently, Boghossian (Boghossian, 2015) has claimed that rules should be thought of as contents and contents as abstract objects. In this paper, I discuss Boghossian’s view. My argumentation consists of three main parts. First, I analyse several arguments to show that in fact, Boghossian’s inferentialist solution is not fully satisfying. Second, I discuss the matter further, if one accepts that basic logical rules are constitutive of meaning, that is, they constitute the logical concepts and the content of a rule is an abstract object, then abstract objects-like, for example, rules-could be constitutive of meaning. The question is whether conceptual priority is in the judgment or in the object and what theory of content is pursued. Grasping content as a matter of knowing how a word or concept behaves in inferences is not completely explicative. Finally, I contend that rules come to exist as a result of certain kinds of mental action. These actions function as constitutive norms. Logical rules are not abstract objects but ideal. What one construes as norms or rules of content may involve idealization, but this is because we share a language.

The need to develop and adopt legal standards for safety management was identified at the Conference of General Directors of Civil Aviation dedicated to the global strategy of aviation safety (Montreal, March 20-22, 2006) and additionally supported by the recommendations of the Safety Conference (Montreal, March 29 - April 1, 2010). The year 2006 saw the introduction of issues related to the safety management system to the Convention’s annexes. The existing fundamental rules related to SMS were included in the annexes: 1 - Personnel licensing, 6 - Operation of Aircraft, 8 - Airworthiness of Aircraft, 11 - Air Traffic Services, 13 - Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation, and 14 - Aerodromes. In addition, due to the dynamic development of aviation and, at the same time, the growing need to create the highest standards in the field of safety management systems, the Air Navigation Commission established the Safety Management Panel (SMP) to develop the content of Annex 19. After several years of reconciliation and consultation, this document was finally adopted by the ICAO Council in 2013. It has become the ipso facto document that provides the basis for creating an effective safety management system, as it is compatible and also adapted to the most effective practices indicated in the ICAO Doc 9859 Safety Management Manual. Annex 19 sets out the responsibility of States, the safety management system and the collection of information related to safety. The National Civil Aviation Safety Programme and the structure of this system were also dealt with. The whole idea is to support states in the process of hazard identification and risk management. The purpose of the article was: to highlight selected elements of the risk management process in a practical dimension, to present the principles for assessing the degree of risk by an air navigation service provider, and to identify ways of improving this process. Searching for an answer to the main research problem contributed to achieving this goal. The research problem was expressed in the form of a question: How does the air navigation service provider manage the risk under the air traffic safety management system in order to achieve compliance with regulatory requirements and to achieve the assumed parameters (indicators) in the area of safety? With regard to the main research problem, the following research hypotheses were formulated: 1. I believe that an air navigation service provider undertakes an assessment of the degree of possible danger in civil aviation to identify hazards in air traffic as part of a safety management system. 2. I suppose that the air navigation service provider manages the risk in a manner consistent with the provisions of law and by using procedures included in normative documents.

Research background: This research focused on identifying attributes of tourism services which are guided by a responsible vision and which seek to achieve consumer satisfaction with products that respect sustainability principles. Responsible consumer choices were defined as those formed by an orientation toward sustainable local food and drink, health-related services, and entertainment. Purpose of the article: This research had two aims. The first was to create and validate a measurement scale assessing tourists' motivations with regard to three responsible tourism service dimensions. The second was to evaluate how tourists' responsible choices affect their satisfaction. Methods: The methodology included exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling to test the hypothesis developed based on a literature review. The convenience sample was made up of tourism service users. Findings & value added: The results include a broad measurement tool that can be applied in other fields of research to detect which variables influence consumer satisfaction. The proposed model incorporates significant determining factors, namely, key aspects affecting tourism service selection by clients focused on sustainability and responsible consumption. Based on a market orientation (MO) perspective, the findings contribute to the existing literature on stakeholder theory (ST) and dynamic capability theory (DCT). The value added comprises a better understanding of responsible tourism consumers' choices based on a three-part theoretical framework (i.e., MO, ST, and DCT).

Opis:
Place names referencing the material traces of past cultures are relatively common in the microtoponymy, of Spanish-speaking areas. Since they were created by rural speech communities completely lacking in historical and archaeological culture, they make it possible to reconstruct how realities of archaeological interest (fragments of tools and building materials, ruins of buildings, dolmens, menhirs, tombs, old coins, inscriptions, engraved or painted cave art, among others) were popularly perceived and interpreted long before becoming objects of scientific study. Taking an extensive toponymic corpus as its starting point, this paper presents an exhaustive classification of such names, differentiating those of a purely descriptive nature from those intended to provide answers to questions concerning the origins, age, and purpose of the enigmatic discoveries. This toponomastic analysis facilitates the rigorous study of the process of onymic creation and its underlying motives.

Although recent evidence suggests that the development of dynamic capabilities (DC) is a key factor to gain and sustain competitive advantages to promote firm´s growth, the question of how SMEs create, identify, and seize opportunities for growth have not been fully explored, particularly in developing countries with scarce resources. The aim of this study is to shed light on how SMEs develop capabilities to grow in the specific context of developing countries with resources constraints. To achieve a detailed description of the processes involved, this study applies a qualitative methodology based on a comparative case study of eight SMEs within the software and tourism industries in Argentine, which have been previously identified as dynamic sectors with high growth potential. Our findings suggest that SMEs develop DC mainly through an emerging process of iterative experimentation rather than through strategic planning. This process involves the coordination of organizational actions and resources, with managers playing a key role.

Based on overlapping structural requirements for both efficient aldose reductase inhibitors and PPAR ligands, [5-(benzyloxy)-1H-indol-1-yl]acetic acid (compound 1) was assessed for inhibition of aldose reductase and ability to interfere with PPARγ. Aldose reductase inhibition by 1 was characterized by IC50 in submicromolar and low micromolar range, for rat and human enzyme, respectively. Selectivity in relation to the closely related rat kidney aldehyde reductase was characterized by approx. factor 50. At organ level in isolated rat lenses, compound 1 significantly inhibited accumulation of sorbitol in a concentration-dependent manner. To identify crucial interactions within the enzyme binding site, molecular docking simulations were performed. Based on luciferase reporter assays, compound 1 was found to act as a ligand for PPARγ, yet with rather low activity. On balance, compound 1 is suggested as a promising lead-like scaffold for agents with the potential to interfere with multiple targets in diabetes.

The little town of Siurana, with just thirty houses, is located on a perched geological isthmus and surrounded with precipices. Historically, the place is famous for its castle (now dilapidated), which was the last bastion of Catalonia during the Reconquista. For only twenty years, it was easily accessible by a paved road. According to one legend, the “Moorish Queen” jumped from a cliff on her horse before falling into the hands of the Christians, leaving a horseshoe near the castle on a vertical precipice. Later, a Romanesque Church was built there in the twelfth century. 1. The local environment is urban protected, but geological protection is also needed to preserve the spectacular stone strips down below at the water reservoir. It is necessary to improve the accessibility of Siurana as a geological park by rebuilding old foot paths and reinforcing the steep enclave. The geological features are highly Visible and spectacular: rolling hills of brown slate followed by wind-carved, red sandstone cliffs crowned with white limestone. 2. Accessibility can be developed by basing on existing roads and making new ones that are necessary to enjoy the park and comply with fire regulations. 3. In the town, it is necessary to build roads accessing the treatment plant, and establish a Cultural Interpretation Center dedicated to local history. Also, a parking lot for around twelve vehicles should be constructed at the lower level, where it would be protected by trees. 4. A Viewpoint at the precipice in Salto de la Reina Mora has also been proposed. It would offer a View of the castle and the precipice in all their glory, but would require a special access ramp. 5. To make Visits easier and more enjoyable, it is proposed that Visitors take electric vans up the road (8 km) and descend by a New Cable Car between Siurana and Cornudella del Montsant at the base of the mountain, where the car park is located.
Małe miasteczko Siurana, liczące zaledwie trzydzieści domów, położone jest na przesmyku geologicznym i otoczone przepaściami. Historycznie, miejsce to słynie z zamku (obecnie zniszczonego), który był ostatnim bastionem Katalonii podczas rekonkwisty. Przez zaledwie dwadzieścia lat był on łatwo dostępny dzięki utwardzonej drodze. Według jednej z legend, "Królowa Maurów" skoczyła z klifu na swoim koniu, zanim wpadła w ręce chrześcijan, pozostawiając podkowę w pobliżu zamku na pionowej przepaści. Później w XII wieku wybudowano tam romański kościół. 1. Lokalne środowisko jest chronione urbanistycznie, ale potrzebna jest również ochrona geologiczna, aby zachować spektakularne pasy kamienne w dole przy zbiorniku wodnym. Konieczna jest poprawa dostępności Siurany jako parku geologicznego poprzez odbudowę starych ścieżek i wzmocnienie stromych enklaw. Cechy geologiczne są bardzo widoczne i spektakularne: falujące wzgórza z brązowego łupka, a następnie wyrzeźbione przez wiatr klify z czerwonego piaskowca zwieńczone białym wapieniem. 2. Dostępność może być rozwijana poprzez bazowanie na istniejących drogach i wykonanie nowych, które są niezbędne do korzystania z parku i zgodne z przepisami firmy. 3. W mieście konieczne jest zbudowanie dróg dojazdowych do oczyszczalni i utworzenie Centrum Interpretacji Kulturalnej poświęconej lokalnej historii. Należy również wybudować parking na około dwanaście pojazdów na niższym poziomie, który byłby chroniony przez drzewa. 4. Zaproponowano również punkt widokowy na przepaści w Salto de la Reina Mora. Aby ułatwić i uprzyjemnić zwiedzanie, proponuje się, aby zwiedzający wjeżdżali elektrycznymi pojazdami na górę (8 km) i zjeżdżali nową kolejką linową między Siuraną a Cornudella del Montsant u podstawy góry, gdzie znajduje się parking.

The paper proposes an economic and mathematics models of sustainable tourism development strategic management based on application of fuzzy algebra mathematical apparatus. The conducted research is built, starting from the formulation of strategic management of sustainable tourism development concept and ending with the creation of economic and mathematics models of decision support. A mathematical model that supports decision making in the evaluation of sustainable development of tourist and recreational areas was developed based on the use of mathematical apparatus of fuzzy inference. The model is built in Fuzzy Logic Toolbox environment of MATLAB and allows selecting strategic reference points for sustainable tourism development with the combination of the results of economic benefits with environmental and social indicators.
W artykule zaproponowano ekonomiczne i matematyczne modele strategicznego zarządzania rozwojem zrównoważonej turystyki oparte na zastosowaniu aparatu matematycznego algebry rozmytej. Przeprowadzone badania zbudowane zostały począwszy od sformułowania strategicznego zarządzania koncepcją zrównoważonego rozwoju turystyki, a skończywszy na tworzeniu ekonomicznych i matematycznych modeli wspomagania decyzji. Opracowano model matematyczny wspierający podejmowanie decyzji w zakresie oceny zrównoważonego rozwoju terenów turystycznych i rekreacyjnych w oparciu o zastosowanie aparatu matematycznego wnioskowania rozmytego. Model został zbudowany w środowisku Fuzzy Logic Toolbox w MATLAB i pozwala na wybór strategicznych punktów odniesienia dla zrównoważonego rozwoju turystyki dzięki połączeniu wyników korzyści ekonomicznych ze wskaźnikami środowiskowymi i społecznymi.

The Internet has introduced trade and commerce to newer possibilities, which is e-commerce. E-commerce has a tremendous impact on processes and practices where the internet is used for advertising any products or services, taking orders through the internet, e-payment systems, and supplying goods to the consumers. Compared to traditional trading systems, deficiencies of businesses, but now e-commerce has become a 'boundary crossing' for the new businesses with several unique models based on technology adoption. The developing countries are adopting e-commerce in businesses, whether the companies are micro-level or medium level. This research aims to examine the key success factors of e-commerce adoption for sustainable SMEs. This research utilizes the TOE framework. The data of research is collected through a questionnaire from Bangladesh’s Small and Medium sized Enterprises. The findings of the research showed that technological, organizational and environmental factors have a profound influence on the adoption of e-commerce. The role of organizational factors is limited. Perceived complexity, compatibility and relative advantage, information intensity, management support have a big impact on Bangladesh's adoption of ecommerce. The government of Bangladesh has initiated several models for adopting e-commerce, though the complexity factor is a barrier in the way of e-commerce adoption. If the compatibility is improved, the sustainability of SMEs in Bangladesh will observe a major change to compete with the international standards of quality. The results of the study have been drawn over Smart PLS version 3.0.
Internet wprowadził handel i handel do nowszych możliwości, jakim jest e-commerce. Handel elektroniczny ma ogromny wpływ na procesy i praktyki, w których Internet jest wykorzystywany do reklamowania dowolnych produktów lub usług, przyjmowania zamówień przez Internet, systemów płatności elektronicznych oraz dostarczania towarów konsumentom. W porównaniu z tradycyjnymi systemami handlowymi, braki firm, ale teraz handel elektroniczny stał się „przekroczeniem granic” dla nowych firm z kilkoma unikalnymi modelami opartymi na przyjęciu technologii. Kraje rozwijające się wprowadzają e-handel w przedsiębiorstwach, niezależnie od tego, czy są to firmy na poziomie mikro, czy na poziomie średnim. Niniejsze badanie ma na celu zbadanie kluczowych czynników sukcesu przyjęcia e-commerce dla zrównoważonych MŚP. W badaniu wykorzystano model TOE. Dane z badań są zbierane za pomocą kwestionariusza od małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw z Bangladeszu. Wyniki badań wykazały, że czynniki technologiczne, organizacyjne i środowiskowe mają ogromny wpływ na przyjęcie e-commerce. Rola czynników organizacyjnych jest ograniczona. Postrzegana złożoność, kompatybilność i względna przewaga, intensywność informacji, wsparcie zarządzania mają duży wpływ na przyjęcie handlu elektronicznego przez Bangladesz. Rząd Bangladeszu zainicjował kilka modeli przyjmowania e-commerce, chociaż czynnik złożoności stanowi barierę na drodze do przyjęcia e-commerce. Jeśli kompatybilność ulegnie poprawie, zrównoważenie MŚP w Bangladeszu zaobserwuje poważną zmianę, aby konkurować z międzynarodowymi standardami jakości. Wyniki badania zostały sporządzone na Smart PLS w wersji 3.0.

Research background: Chatbots represent valuable technological tools that allow companies to improve customer experiences, meet their expectations in real time, and provide them with personalized assistance. They have contributed to the transformation of conventional customer service models into online solutions, offering accessibility and efficiency through their integration across various digital platforms. Nevertheless, the existing literature is limited in terms of exploring the potential of chatbots in business communication and studying their impact on the customer's response. Purpose of the article: The main objective of this study is to examine how consumers perceive chatbots as customer service devices. In particular, the paper aims to analyze the influence of the dimensions of “Information”, “Entertainment”, “Media Appeal”, “Social Presence” and “Risk for Privacy” on the “Customer Experience” and the latter on the “Purchase Intention”, under the consideration of the Uses and Gratifications Theory. Moderations due to Chatbot Usage Frequency for some of the relationships proposed are also analyzed.  Methods: An empirical study was performed through a questionnaire to Spanish consumers. The statistical data analysis was conducted with R software through the lavaan package. To test the hypotheses from the conceptual model a structural equation modelling approach was adopted. Findings & value added: The results obtained identify the main characteristics of chatbots that can support brands to effectively develop their virtual assistants in order to manage their relational communication strategies and enhance their value proposal through the online customer journey. Findings demonstrate the contribution that chatbot dimensions make to the online consumer experience and its impact on the purchase intention, with the consideration of the moderating effect exercised by the user's level of experience (novice vs. experienced) with the use of chatbots. Regarding managerial implications, this research offers recommendations for e-commerce professionals to manage chatbots more effectively. The “Entertainment” and “Social Presence” dimensions can be operationalized at a visual (e.g., appearance of the avatar and text box, use of designs aligned with the website) and textual level (e.g., style and tone of voice, use of expressions typical of the target audience) to generate a feeling of proximity with the chatbot and facilitate its adoption. “Media Appeal” requires that the chatbot be easy to use, effective, and accessible, to facilitate its usability. Finally, mitigation of “Privacy Risk” concerns should be achieved by presenting an appropriate privacy policy and requesting permission for the use of customers’ private information.
