Opis:
This main aim of this paper is to present some theoretical considerations about the need for a cultural approach in modern developmental psychology. Starting with a critique of the over-universalisation of developmental research in American psychology, the authors present a paradigm of a relational-developmental system, using the concept of embodiment and a cultural approach in psychological research, in which the principal object of analysis is person-in-action as a culturally inclusive alternative for developmental psychology. This approach will be exemplified by research on development through guided participation and the role of shame in moral and social development in Confucian culture.

Introduction and objective. Hyperdontia is a dental developmental anomaly in which supernumerary teeth exist. These are extra teeth to the normal set of primary or permanent dentitions. This article reviews the current literature on hyperdontia in the permanent dentition. Materials and method. A thorough literature search was carried out using Scopus, PubMed, and Google Scholar databases. Results were reviewed, prioritized, and findings compiled. The key words of the search strategy were: prevalence, case reports, supernumerary, supplemental, distomolars, forth molars, paramolars, parapremolars, mesiodens, and supernumerary lateral incisors. Only articles in English published in peer-reviewed journals were included. Brief description of the state of knowledge. The prevalence of supernumerary teeth varies between and within different populations. They may cause various aesthetic, occlusal, and functional complications and often require an interdisciplinary intervention. Familiarity with such anomalies is essential for the dental practitioner. Recognition and correct identification of the anomaly is important when communicating with other dental team members, especially in the case of a referral to or from another dental office. Moreover, understanding the anomaly is an important factor in determining the course of treatment, if any. Conclusion. It is hoped that this review will provide dental practitioners with an update on the classification, characteristics, and prevalence figures for each type of supernumerary tooth.

Opis:
The paper demonstrates how pragmatic features of certain developmental disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, can be described in a formal pragmasemantic framework. We apply ÂeALIS, the pragmasemantic system (Alberti, Kleiber, Schnell, & Szabó 2016) which offers a formal representation for linguistically encoded speech acts and for the beliefs, desires and intentions that are present in the minds of potential interlocutors. It defines worldlets which include the BDI states of the speaker, as well as BDI states that the speaker assumes the hearer has, in an unlimited recursive pattern. The model is built upon the idea that the worldlets are organized in a system of multi-level tree-structures and are easily processable and accessible in communication for the intact human mind. In this formally defined system, the intensity of the different BDIs (e.g. strong/weak belief) belonging to the worldlets must be signaled by the interlocutors, using pragmatic tools. We found that pragmatic inaccuracy is detectable in ÂeALIS when it is related to inappropriate presentation of BDIs (e.g. inability to identify the illocutionary goals), poor reciprocity (e.g. ToM1 and ToM2 problems), impairment of coding/decoding (e.g. incorrect semantical and syntactical coding of the information structure) and insensitivity to intensity (e.g. the misuse of discourse markers). These symptoms can be present in any of the aforementioned disorders. Our “atlas” can illustrate that the so-called “pragmatic deficit” has a formally definable structure.

Mortatity rate for the chicken embryos on day 15 of incubation was 45.0 ± 3.5% after injection of trypsin inbibitor and 44.0 ± 3.5% after adminstration α-chymotrypsin inbibitor. Gross examination of surviving embryos and their dissection revealed pathological changes (abdominal dropsy, umbilical hernia, subcutaneous oedema, hemoperitoneum, hemopericardium), symptoms indicating retardation in growth (lack of down, retarded ossification of long bones, decreased mean body weight) as well as malformations (schistocelia, micrognathia, cyclopia, crossed beak, cranial deformities) after injection of inhibitors from Ascaris. The highest incidence of embryos with pathological changes and malformations was found after administralion of α-chymotrypsin inbibitor. The most commonly occurring abnormality was schistocelia (21.4 ± 3.88%). Growth malformations were not found in the control groups. The trypsin and α-chymotrypsin inhibitors present in Ascaris homogenate have a significant disturbing effect on the development of the chicken embryo.

The technical issues described in the paper concern aspects of foundations of buried flexible steel structures. The foundations of these structures are most frequently made as traditional “rigid” structures (which is related to their massiveness - most commonly reinforced concrete), or in the form of properly profiled soil foundations (depending on the shape of the coating). Comparison of the two issues of “vulnerability”, i.e. the bearing structure and the ’’rigidity” of foundations, is the main motivation to carry out testing and conduct an analysis in this area. The problems are discussed in the paper in the context of new developments in the field of “flexible” foundations of the structures in question. Further development analyses are currently in progress , which will be practically implemented in the form of appropriate guidelines. In the authors' opinion, this will help to optimize the design of the in which the foundation of these structures.

Opis:
Emerging adulthood, in numerous individual biographies, also in the case of disabled people, is the time of permanent need for self-actualisation and time of verifying one’s subjective vision of “being an adult,” i.e. being responsible for one’s own decisions, pursuing professional and economic independence. Due to developmental acceleration, sociological shift in terms of undertaken roles and realized developmental tasks as well as their moratoriumlinked delays, it is also the time conducive to educational activity. This psychological time of a young person, its course and specificity depend, to a large extent, on numerous (micro-, mezo- and macro-) conditions of family life and social life in today’s world which is more competitive and less predictable than it used to be for generation of the late 1990s. All of these factors contribute to the fact that maturing to adulthood seems to be a state which is harder to achieve nowadays. It is displayed in the form of delaying the moment of taking up a job or other important decisions in family and relationship contexts. The study aims to present the selected aspects of daily life of disabled young adults, described in the context of developmental tasks of this period and considering the perspective of investment in relationships, development of one’s own resources, pursuing education and entering the job market which are all, from a temporal perspective, a chance of complementing one’s own identity.

Today it is very important to teach pupils their native language using developmental teaching method. Proceeding from the rules of developmental teaching technology in the educational and cognitive activity of the teacher and pupil the ways of implementing search works based on the "subject-subject" relationships from the scientific point of view have been justified. At the 4th form of primary school the scientific bases of the methodology of the developmental teaching of the Kazakh language parts of speech have been identified for the first time, the ways of establishing a purposefully created methodology have been considered. Methods of developmental teaching of morphology for the 4th form students have been created. Purpose. The purpose of the article is to provide through defining methodological bases of the developmental teaching of Kazakh language parts of speech at primary school developmental teaching methodology using the results of practical implementations of developmental teaching effective methods in teaching parts of speech. Methods. During the research the methods of developmental teaching, methods of analysis, synthesis, comparison, connection, pedagogical experiment, quantitative and qualitative analysis, tests and other methods have been used. Results. The teacher's goals for theoretical teaching of morphology (parts of speech) concepts have been defined. An educational and methodological complex for teachers aimed at developing educational and cognitive activity of primary school pupils have been developed for teaching the concepts about parts of speech. Opis:
Premaxillary tooth count tends to be stable amongst toothed dinosaurs, and most theropods have four teeth in each premaxilla. Only one case of bilaterally asymmetric variation is known in theropod premaxillary dentition, and there is no record of ontogenetic or individual variation in premaxillary tooth count. Based on these observations, a tyrannosaurid left premaxilla with three teeth (TMP 2007.20.124) is an interesting deviation and represents an unusual individual of Daspletosaurus sp. with a developmental abnormality. The lower number of teeth is coupled with relatively larger alveoli, each of which is capable of hosting a larger than normal tooth. This indicates that tooth size and dental count vary inversely, and instances of reduction in tooth count may arise from selection for increased tooth size. On the other hand, the conservative number of premaxillary teeth in most theropods implies strong developmental constraints and a functional trade−off between the dimensions of the premaxillary alveolar margin and the size of the teeth. In light of recent advances in the study of tooth morphogenesis, tooth count is a function of two parameters: dimensions of an odontogenic field for a tooth series, and dimensions of tooth positions. A probable developmental cause for the low tooth count of TMP 2007.20.124 is that the dimensions of the alveoli expanded by approximately a third during tooth morphogenesis. Numerical traits such as tooth count are difficult to treat in a phylogenetic analysis. When formulating a phylogenetic character, a potential alternative to simply counting is to rely on the morphological signature for developmental parameters that control the number of the element in question.

One of the main requirements of life in present-day society is that the system of education and growing children should be focused on developing inner pupil’s abilities based on their own methods of mastering educational subjects. Introducing new educational technologies aim to provide quicker results in teaching. In this regard, the developmental teaching technology which includes teaching a student methods of learning internal structure and external system of his native language plays significant role. Purpose: By defining theoretical bases of the developmental teaching of Kazakh language parts of speech at primary school to present effective developmental teaching methodology based on the results of practical implementation of the effective developmental teaching methods for studying the parts of speech. Methods: By taking into account research methods of such scientists-methodists in Kazakhstan as S.R. Rakhmetova, F.Sh.Orazbaeva, K. Kadasheva, N.Kurmanova, Zh.Suleimenova, G.Uaisova, A.E.Zhumabayeva, who have broadly studied the methodology of Kazakh language teaching, for the reaserach reported in the article the following research methods have been used: synthesis, comparison, connection, pedagogical experiment, quantitative and qualitative analysis, test and the developmental teaching. Conclusions: During the developmental teaching of the grammatical concepts to pupils of primary school, development of the pupils’ ability to make consolidated grammatical concepts has been taken as the main goal of the developmental teaching. To achieve this goal in practical implementation of the methodology it is the necessary that the content of teaching grammar was systemized.

Opis:
A higher sensitivity and the cytotoxic effects of garlic have been previously reported on culture cells. No studies, however, have investigated the developmental toxicity of fresh garlic in zebrafish model. In this study freshly made garlic juice, which chemically is a combination of sulphur containing compounds, was evaluated to investigate the developmental toxicity during a 5-day assay using zebrafish embryos, starting from 2 h post fertilization. The results showed that toxicity endpoints such as the hatching rate, survival rate, malformation rate and growth rate had a significant dose-response relationship with increasing concentrations of garlic juice. The average hatching rate and time to hatch of zebrafish exposed to lower concentrations (0.001% and less) were significantly increased around 48-60 h of treatment (P < 0.05), strongly emphasizing the acceleration of hatchability caused by garlic juice. Mortality was also increased with exposure to garlic, exhibiting the maximal toxicity after 12 h of exposure to the concentration of 0.08%. A significant reduction in the heart rate by 35.5% was recorded due to the higher concentrations of juice (above 0.01%) starting form 36-hour exposure (P < 0.05). Growth retardation, pericardial oedema with heart malformations, deformity of yolk, lack of pigmentation and body malformation have been noticed at the concentration of 0.03% starting from 48 h of exposure. No severe malformations in any of the experimental zebrafish were produced at concentrations less than 0.01% of garlic juice. The results indicate that developing zebrafish are sensitive to garlic juice and further studies are required to investigate the molecular basis of the observed effects that garlic constituents exert upon aquatic vertebrates.
