Opis:
The contribution deals with project teaching of the subject Statistics for Non- -Mathematical Students 1 which is part of the study plan of the Marketing Communication and Advertising Programme (Faculty of Arts, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, Slovakia) in the first year of Bachelor's studies. Students carried out their initial research, using statistical methods for evaluation of their results. The resulting project should have the form of any article consisting of high-quality verbal and visual part and statistical processing of selected issue.

Opis:
In their paper, Bounds on the number of edges in hypertrees, G.Y. Katona and P.G.N. Szabó introduced a new, natural definition of hypertrees in $k$-uniform hypergraphs and gave lower and upper bounds on the number of edges. They also defined edge-minimal, edge-maximal and $l$-hypertrees and proved an upper bound on the edge number of $l$-hypertrees. In the present paper, we verify the asymptotic sharpness of the \( \binom{n}{k-1} \) upper bound on the number of edges of $k$-uniform hypertrees given in the above mentioned paper. We also make an improvement on the upper bound of the edge number of 2-hypertrees and give a general extension construction with its consequences. We give lower and upper bounds on the maximal number of edges of $k$-uniform edge-minimal hypertrees and a lower bound on the number of edges of $k$-uniform edge-maximal hypertrees. In the former case, the sharp upper bound is conjectured to be asymptotically \( \frac{1}{k-1} \binom{n}{2} \).

Opis:
Over the last decade, the brewing revolution has shown a new face to brewing. Besides the large-scale production, small-scale, artisanal hand crafted, and home breweries have also become important and relevant. This change has forced large-scale compa-nies to change their usual methods and brew other types of recipes as well. One of the most popular ALE-type beers is the Indian Pale Ale (IPA), which gives beer a fruity-citrus flavour due to its hop content. It is especially popular with novice brewers as it has no enormous machine requirements compared to LAGER-type beers. In the study, we made our already known and popular recipe, a New England IPA, in a 30-litre brewing pot. This type requires only one type of malt; however, we added barley flakes, oat flakes, and wheat flakes to enhance the flavour. Hops are very domi-nant in the taste of this type of beer, five of which were used during brewing and later at “dry hopping” during fermentation.Sampling was performed every minute during mashing, brewing, hopping, cooling, and yeasting with a calibrated NIX-type measuring device with repetition to avoid measurement errors. During the fermentation stage, the colour change was observed by daily sampling. The study aims to separate the stages of brewing by colour and identify the stages of the already known biological and chemical activities by colour. This study is the first part of a more extended series of experiments where we will perform similar experiments on several types of beer (LAGER, STOUT, APA, WHEAT, RED, etc.). We would also like to know about the possible effect of carbonisation on colour, the possible effect of storage in a bottle on colour, and possible deviations from a similar decoction.

Opis:
The impact of the economy and transport is currently a closely watched trend. Air transport has many advantages that favor it over other modes of transport. However, the environmental impact of avia- tion on the environment is not negligible, despite the fact that many important aviation organizations are constantly assessing the level of this impact and taking appropriate action on that basis. Despite the adoption of measures to increase air safety, accidents continue to occur. Among other things, they have a negative impact on the environment. The negative impact of an aviation emergency re- sults from the leakage of liquids into the soil and water, and the leakage of flue gases and combustion products of aircraft construction materials in the event of a fire into the air. This article deals with the analysis of aviation accidents in a selected area aiming to identify the parameters affecting the environment in these emergencies.

Opis:
ObjectivesThe aim was to compare the prevalence of acute infection and seropositivity of SARS-CoV-2 among healthcare workers (HCWs) and medical students.Material and MethodsA high-volume, single-center analysis was conducted in the period of July 1‒August 1, 2020, at the Semmelweis University. Naso- and oropharyngeal samples were collected for polymerase chain reaction (PCR), and blood samples for anti-SARS-CoV-2 IgG. A questionnaire was also administered about the infection symptoms and the obtained results were assessed by profession and site of care delivery.ResultsFrom the total cohort (N = 7948), 4478 (56%) and 3470 (44%) were health professionals and medical students, respectively. They were mainly female (67%), and the mean age of HCWs and students was 40 and 25 years, respectively. By profession, physicians (1.5%) and other HCWs (1.8%) showed a comparable SARS-CoV-2 exposure. International students had the highest (2.1%), whereas Hungarian students had the lowest (0.6%) prevalence of seropositivity. The highest prevalence was detected among the staff of COVID-19 wards (12.1%). By PCR, medical students showed the lowest occurrence of active infection with a prevalence of 0.17%, while physicians and other HCWs had a higher prevalence (1.46% and 1.71%, respectively). By site of care delivery, positive test results were the most frequent at COVID-19 wards (3.8%).ConclusionsPhysicians and other HCWs showed comparable SARS-CoV-2 seropositivity prevalence, approximately twice as high as in the general population of Budapest. Hungarian students had lower prevalence of seropositivity than this reference. High prevalence among international students suggests that they had imported the infection. The very high prevalence of documented exposure among staff members at COVID-19 wards urges for improving the safety measures.
