Organizations are faced with increased competition in the war for talent, and their sustained competitive advantage may depend on the ability to attract suitable candidates. The gamification of HR recruitment processes can be one solution, as it creates employer brand awareness and enables candidates to better assess their fit with the organizational culture and job requirements. Based on a comprehensive literature review and through focus groups and qualitative content analysis, we develop guidelines for effective application design and implementation. Our findings are mirrored against UTAUT 2 theory and consolidated in a Model for Acceptance of Gamified Recruitment Elements. Results suggest that gamified recruitment is an effective option to support traditional recruitment processes in orienting candidates and companies about the individual employer fit, ultimately increasing the quality of applications and strengthening organizations’ talent pools. From the results, we derive guidelines on how to effectively implement design features.

Contemporary society uses the possibilities of the Internet in various areas of life. The Internet has influenced private life, social life, family users, its usefulness can also be noticed at the professional stage. Being an active user of the network, creating profiles and creating your person on various social networks, and you can see the usefulness of this type of practice. Enterprises search for employees via the Internet, employing specialists or creating appropriate positions in the company, responsible for recruitment. The Internet allows access to a wide range of candidates, and the biggest advantage of this type of recruitment is the access to the huge amount of information that users place. Specialized job placement portals or websites created to allow an employer to meet with a candidate, create the ability to view and filter job offers as well as search for suitable candidates. The scope of the paper is the analysis of the tools used to recruitment and selection of employees in the internet especially by social media. The method used in this paper is analysis of the social media platform. Research question: What social platform is best from recruiters point of view.

The article deals with the subject of recruitment of a candidate for a creative team in manufacturing company. For this purpose, a recruitment model has been developed. It consists of three main stages: preliminary selection of candidates, assessment of the predispositions of the selected candidates to work in a team and creative team building. The authors developed recruitment model of a candidate for a creative team includes a set of tools supporting the assessment at each stage. In the first stage concerning the preliminary selection, a competence Questionnaire for working in a creative team, was developed. The second stage includes the assessment of a candidate’s predispositions with the use of original tools for assessing creativity, a tool supporting the monitoring of employees’ activity in proposing innovative solutions and assessment center methodology. The principles of AC remained the same. The competences that a creative team should possess were adjusted to the tool. Tasks were proposed in order to assess these competences. The tool itself is ready for application. In the subsequent stage of research, the tool in question will be tested in selected companies and evaluated. The last stage concerns the team building. The tool used at this stage is the Questionnaire for assessing the role in the team. While creating a recruitment model of a candidate for a creative team, of the selected companies team leaders were consulted.

The recruitment process is indispensable to have a reasonable staff that fulfills all needs of a production process. The aim of the paper is to analyze the selection of employees in the industrial organization especially in the context: techniques used in the recruitment process, used selection methods and changes proposed in the recruitment process. Summing up the results of research, one can point out that the most frequent causes of aspirations for the workplace by the respondents were the financial issues and the desire for self-development. The most popular recruitment technique used in the recruitment process was online classifieds. Observation shows that this is a common recruitment technique. Among the selection methods, the most popular was the CV and cover letter, which was indicated by almost all the respondents.
Proces rekrutacji jest niezbędny aby organizacja posiadała odpowiedni personel, który spełnia wszystkie wymagania procesu produkcyjnego. Celem artykułu jest analiza procesu selekcji pracowników w organizacji przemysłowej, w szczególności w kontekście: technik stosowanych w procesie rekrutacji, stosowanych metod selekcji oraz zmian proponowanych w procesie rekrutacji. Podsumowując wyniki badań, można wskazać, że najczęstszymi przyczynami aspiracji do pracy w przemyśle motoryzacyjnym wskazywanymi przez respondentów były kwestie finansowe i chęć do samorozwoju. Najpopularniejszą metodą rekrutacyjną stosowaną w procesie rekrutacji były ogłoszenia online. Analiza pokazuje, że jest to obecnie powszechna technika rekrutacji. Wśród metod selekcji najbardziej popularne były CV i list motywacyjny, na co wskazywali prawie wszyscy respondenci.

Satisfying the need for human resources in the organization, results from the employment plan. When it turns out that there is a vacancy in a particular position, either newly created or already existing, the recruitment procedure begins. A very important element in the recruitment of employees is the selection, which is understood as a series of actions taken to fill the vacant positions with suitable employees. The company can carry out the entire recruitment process on its own, by its Social Media in the Employee Recruitment Process own specialists, as well as may use the help of employment offices or personnel consulting. The current reality of the global economy gives many opportunities for both employees and employers. One of these opportunities is the recruitment through social media. Communication medium in the form of the Internet, defines new standards of information transfer. Candidates have the opportunity to exchange views about the company and the proposed position, while employers can learn through social networking sites something about potential candidates.
Zaspokojenie zapotrzebowania na zasoby ludzkie w organizacji wynika z planu zatrudnienia. Kiedy okazuje się, że na określonym stanowisku, zarówno nowo tworzonym, jak już istniejącym, występuje wakat, zaczyna się procedura rekrutacyjna. Bardzo ważnym elementem w rekrutacji pracowników jest dobór rozumiany jako szereg działań podejmowanych w celu obsadzenia wakujących stanowisk pracy przez odpowiednie osoby. Przedsiębiorstwo może realizować cały proces rekrutacji samodzielnie, przez własnych specjalistów, jak również może skorzystać z pomocy urzędów pracy czy z doradztwa personalnego. Aktualna rzeczywistość w globalnej gospodarce daje wiele możliwości pracownikom, jak i pracodawcom. Jedną z nich jest rekrutacja za pomocą mediów społecznościowych. Medium komunikacyjne w postaci Internetu określa nowe standardy przekazywania informacji. Kandydaci mają możliwość wymiany poglądów dotyczących przedsiębiorstwa i proponowanego stanowiska, natomiast pracodawcy mogą za pomocą portali społecznościowych uzyskać wiedzę o kandydatach.

The article is devoted to recruitment and human resources approach to transnational corporations. Factors like: employee ability, education, skills, experience, behaviours, personality traits and motivations influencing the company’s prosperity. That’s why recruiting process is so important to pick appropriate candidate from the market and bring to company some extra value through this actions. The theoretical approach to this problem has been complemented by a case study of corporations that are among the so-called "Big Four" involved in the advisory industry and nowadays regarded as the most prestigious place for work.
Artykuł został poświęcony tematyce rekrutacji i podejścia do zasobów ludzkich w korporacjach transnarodowych. Teoretyczne ujęcie tego problemu zostało uzupełnione przez studium przypadku korporacji znajdujących się w gronie tak zwanej „Wielkiej Czwórki”, zajmujących się branżą doradczą i uznawanych za najbardziej prestiżowe miejsca pracy w dzisiejszym świecie.

The police is an institution serving the society, its task being to enforce the law and take all actions aimed at eliminating its violations. As a uniformed and armed force, it plays an important role in the state security system, including prosecution of individuals who do not comply with applicable legal norms. The police offi cer’s profession enjoys particular respect, but to ensure the correctness of the service performed, only those who meet the requirements specifi ed for this profession can join the ranks of the police. The article presents topics related to the recruitment process, and the role of internal control as elements of crime prevention in the Polish police. A special role has been assigned to recruitment, which is responsible for verifying the admitted people – their character traits, moral attitudes, emotional stability, as well as health and physical fi tness. In turn, the task of control is, on the one hand, to ensure the correctness of service, and on the other hand, to reveal any irregularities and to strive to remove them. The internal control in the police is the responsibility of the Control Bureau at the National Police HQ under the direct supervision of the National Police Chief, Provincial HQ Control Departments under the supervision of the Provincial Police Chiefs, and inspections by designated persons under the supervision of the City Police Chiefs. In addition, new technologies have been introduced in the police for more effective control, including determining the location of offi cers (using the GPS system) and recording interventions (by body-worn cameras). The said technology also has a preventive function against breaking the law. The measure of control affects the number of all crimes revealed in the police environment. The analysis of revealed irregularities has shown that more than 50% of them are corruption-related offences, and therefore this aspect has been widely discussed in the article.

The article is devoted to researching the Labour Market Digital Ecosystem (LMDES) in terms of its effect on the recruitment process during the remote work outspread. The research aims at analysing remote staff attraction through job portals using the Job board software and determining their impact on recruitment. The LMDES applies automation of the staff searching and selecting, scouring for employment opportunities, and the remote interaction with employers, recruiting agencies, applicants, and job seekers in the digital environment. The essence of the recruitment and selection in sports depends on determining an aptitude vector of the candidate to sport training. For this reason, the recruitment process may be optimized by determining possibly large amount of information on the sport level of the candidate with as small as possible number of tested characteristics, using a mathematical model based on neural networks. The main aim of this work was verification of the usefulness of neural models in optimization of the process of recruitment process, both at sprint distance of 50 m and typically endurance distance of 800 m. The material for the investigation was a group of 80 young swimmers in the youngster and junior category from the Silesian macro-region. For the purpose of verification of the usefulness of neural models, statistical analysis were made of the measurement results of young swimmers and two neural models were developed - for sprint distance (50 m) and endurance distance (800 m). The developed models, based on the architecture of perception networks, has shown capability of generalization and prediction, which has enabled to reach conclusions on practical possibility of using neural networks in optimization of the recruitment and selection process for sport swimming.

Empirical evaluations of practical teaching units integrating content and language in higher education are rare and deserve more attention. The current article aims to narrow this gap by providing an empirical study of an integrating content and language in higher education (ICLHE, Smit & Dafouz, 2012) teaching module. It investigates the effectiveness of a content-based English for specific purposes module in tertiary aeronautical engineering education, which incorporates recruitment advertisements as online resources. The study adopted a mixed-methods approach and surveyed three aeronautical engineering student groups (N = 141) over three consecutive years on their perceptions of the module’s learning outcomes. This longitudinal survey was complemented by a teacher-assessed writing task and a qualitative content analysis of online recruitment advertisements (N = 80) in a self-built corpus. All three year groups rated the 10 questionnaire statements on a 5-point Likert scale rather equally, thus suggesting a similar perception of academic achievement stemming from the module’s completion. This student view was supported by the results of the writing assignment. In short, the module’s effectiveness was corroborated both quantitatively and qualitatively, which identifies this teaching concept as a feasible way forward.

The hereby article describes the study of two cases, the recruitment process as regards a newly created position and the decision concerning promotion to a managerial position. In both cases tool called Facet5 (used for measuring employees' potential) was applied to support decisions connected with human resources. As far as the first case is concerned, the profile of an ideal candidate was established. Then the profiles of three candidates selected based on content were compared to the aforementioned profile of an ideal candidate. As regards the second case, the analysis of the strengths and weaknesses in the employee profile and comparing the benchmarks concerning the particular position confirmed the subjective assessments of the supervisors and contributed to making the right decision. The issues connected to the increasing significance of soft competences, talent management in organization and organizational culture in terms of employee effectiveness and corporate competitive were discussed as well. Analyzed situations indicate the potential value resulting from the usage of tools for researching employees’ potential.
