Wiele uwagi poświęconona wyjaśnienie działalności funduszy venture capital oraz funduszy inwestycyjnych zbiorowego inwestowania.
    The article deals with the problems of the financial environmentally oriented activities. In the article the structure of capital investments of Rivne region of environmental protection has been investigated. The features of financing environmentally oriented companies have been learned. Much attention is paid to the activities of venture capital funds and collective investment.
    Статья посвящена проблемам финансового обеспечения экологически ориентированной деятельности. В статье приводится структура капитальных инвестиций Ровенской области на охрану окружающей природной среды. Выяснены особенности финансирования экологически ориентированных предприятий. Значительное внимание уделено деятельности венчурных фондов и институтам совместного инвестирования.

    The authors used statistical tools to analyze the relationship of fiscal support instruments and the level of the investment of industrial micro, small, and medium–sized enterprises in comparison to large companies in Poland in the years 2006–2014. The results revealed that there is a significant relationship between the level of investment in micro–, small–, and medium–sized enterprises and the majority of tax instruments. There is a negative relationship between the instruments and some of other factors that should influence on the investments of enterprises.

    Nowadays competitiveness of enterprises is determined by the size and range of implemented investment projects. The investments need to involve necessary resources. In the case of the SME sector, enterprises have limited financial assets. Therefore, Poland’s accession to the European Union and the opportunity to use its funding is a chance for development of this sector. The aim of the paper is to discuss the significance of EU funds in investments of SMEs and to present the most important advantages and barriers to their spending. The research methods used in this paper are: study of literature and analysis of secondary data. The research material comprises programming documents and the results of research carried out at the request of the European Leasing Fund, the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and the Polish Confederation Lewiatan. Conclusions: EU funding is an attractive source of financing investments for enterprises. It is one of the most affordable forms of obtaining capital. Acquisition of additional financial means can determine the start of an investment, extend its scope, increase its rate and improve its quality. However, in practice the share of EU funds in financing SMEs investments is still small and entrepreneurs face many barriers to using this form of support. Major obstacles include: excessive bureaucracy, strict procedures, over-scrupulous office workers, lengthy verification of payment applications, as well as delays in payments to beneficiaries.

    W artykule poddano analizie kwestię potencjału inwestycyjnego przedsiębiorstw gospodarujących na gruntach poddanych melioracji. Poza tym zaproponowano i wyjaśniono określenie «zintegrowany potencjał inwestycyjny» w odniesieniu do przedsiębiorstw działających w branżach pokrewnych. W artykule przedstawiono mechanizm organizacyjny stymulowania działalności inwestycyjnej przedsiębiorstw na gruntach osuszanych poprzez zmeliorowanie. Poza tym opisano kwestię poprawy organizacyjno-ekonomicznego mechanizmu kompleksowego inwestowania przedsiębiorstw gospodarujących na zmeliorowanych gruntach. Opracowany został model stymulowania inwestycji kompleksowych w eksploatację zmeliorowanych obszarów.
    The article deals with the concept of «investment potential of the enterprises on drained lands». The «integrated investment potential» for enterprises in adjoining spheres is offered. In the paper the organizational mechanism of stimulating the investment activity of enterprises on drained lands is proposed. The organizational and economic mechanism of complex investments’ implementation at enterprises on drained lands is improved. In the article the model of stimulating the complex investments in drained lands is developed.
    В статье рассмотрена сущность понятия «инвестиционный потенциал предприятий, хозяйствующих на осушаемых землях», предложено введение термина «интегрированный инвестиционный потенциал» для предприятий, работающих в смежных отраслях, а также предоставлено его толкование. В статье предложен организационный механизм стимулирования инвестиционной деятельности предприятий на осушаемых землях и усовершенствован организационно-экономический механизм комплексного инвестирования предприятий, хозяйствующих на осушаемых землях. Разработана модель стимулирования привлечения комплексных инвестиций в эксплуатацию осушаемых земель.

    The aim of the article is to analyze the conceptual and methodological approaches to determining the investment attractiveness of enterprises engaged in transportations. It is indicated that the investment attractiveness of transport enterprises should be determined by calculating of the overall financial situation of enterprises, which will allow potential investors to evaluate profitability and cost efficiency of its activity. An analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the enterprise engaged in transportation can be accomplished by the evaluation of its innovative capacity. The identification of factors and reserves of the increasing of enterprise innovative development will allow distinguishing of the basic directions for the improvement of organizational and economic mechanism of its activity. With the aim of building the strategy for the strengthening of market position it is also considered important for the potential investor to obtain the information about enterprise place on the national and international markets. Political and legal environment, characterized by political stability of society and the regulatory framework of entrepreneurial and investment activity serve as a certain guarantee of the investment reliability.

    The main goal of the article is to present the research testing a model of investment structure in different phases of SMEs’ growth. The author assumed that the share and structure of investments vary in accordance with the stage of the company’s growth, and it is possible to describe the path which SMEs follow in their development. In the study based on organizations’ growth models, demand for particular resources in subsequent growth stages is presented. The model and investments structure is verified on a sample of 286 SMEs.

    The purpose of this article is to analyse special economic zones (SEZ) with regard to attracting foreign and domestic investments. The article overviews selected studies addressing the importance of SEZs in enhancing regional and local competitiveness through the investment activities of enterprises operating under the permission to conduct business activities within their territory. To achieve the adopted goal, the article primarily presents the findings of the studies carried out, using the method of analysis of: the literature of the subject, published reports and papers (secondary data from the 'Investment attractiveness of regions and subregions Polish 2016' has been used), and a descriptive method.

    The article deals with comprehensive analysis of an investment climate in Ukraine and the influence of different factors on it. The author investigated the directions of improvement of economic assessment of enterprises in Ukraine with the purpose to attract new investments. Methods and ratio system for estimation of investment attractiveness of enterprises are characterized, the integrated approach is offered for determination of the most attractive ventures for investing. Such estimation can be done by thorough study of economic activity: analysis of their property conditions, capital turnover, profitability and financial stability, liquidity and market activity. And their ranking to the unique integrated index will allow discovering the most attractive for investing subjects. The simplest method of ranking is a construction of rating row with an appropriation to each of the probed enterprises of the concerned place on separate indexes or directions. The summing allows setting the final place of every enterprise in the system of rating.
    Artykuł prezentuje kompleksową analizę klimatu inwestycyjnego na Ukrainie, biorąc pod uwagę różne czynniki, które mają na niego wpływ. Autorzy dokonali analizy obecnych możliwości poprawy oceny ekonomicznej przedsiębiorstw na Ukrainie w celu przyciągnięcia nowych inwestycji. Scharakteryzowano sposoby i system szacowania wskaźnika atrakcyjności inwestycyjnej przedsiębiorstw. Przedstawiono również zintegrowane podejście do oceny najbardziej intratnych przedsięwzięć inwestycyjnych. Takiej oceny można dokonać poprzez dokładne zbadanie aktywności ekonomicznej. Brane są wówczas pod uwagę: analiza warunków majątkowych przedsiębiorstwa, obrót kapitału, rentowność i płynność finansowa oraz obecność firmy na rynku. Określenie pozycji rankingowej przedsiębiorstwa według tego unikatowego, zintegrowanego indeksu pozwala na prawidłową ocenę jej atrakcyjności inwestycyjnej. A zatem najprostszą metodą rankingową jest skonstruowanie szeregu wskaźników ratingowych odnoszących się do wybranych przedsiębiorstw oraz odpowiednie odniesienie się do nich pod względem kierunku ich rozwoju i indywidualnych uwarunkowań. Suma wszystkich określonych wskaźników plasuje przedsiębiorstwo na odpowiednim miejscu w rankingu.

    Much that has been taking place in today’s Irkutsk is quite typical for cities of post-Soviet Russia. Irkutsk is suffering from drastic structural changes: in its macro-geographic position and international links, in the structure of production, in its postindustrial (non-production) functions, in the system of regional development. The total estimation of changes should be positive. But we can see a lot of losses. Some of them seem to be temporary, but there are also losses caused by the market character of the reforms themselves.

    The utilisation of opportunities by enterprises as the main factor in their development has been the subject of many researchers’ deliberations in recent years. In the author’s perspective, the processes of mergers and acquisitions, in particular, related to investments in distressed assets are a very clear reflection of the strategy of entrepreneurial opportunities utilisation in both passive and creationist approaches. In this paper, the author tries to identify areas where the theory of entrepreneurial opportunities as a part of management studies are reflected in mergers and acquisitions operations. By applying distressed asset investments to the theory of entrepreneurial opportunities, a more in-depth understanding of the motivation of enterprises to make mergers and acquisitions is possible. Additionally, by referring to market practice and empirical research, the author intends to present arguments that allow combining the elements of the leading theories concerning management through opportunities, and this type of investment is a crucial part of modern company management strategy.

    The subject of the article is the analysis of the regulation of the behavior of foreign investors on the markets of the host countries by the recommendations contained in the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and attempt to assess the effectiveness of such solution and its adequacy to the needs and challenges connected with the processes of globalization. Analysis leads to the conclusion that, while the content of the recommendations included in the OECD Guidelines 2011 takes account of the most pressing issues in the area of the functioning of the transnational enterprises, in particular in the field of investment activity, however, legally non-binding nature of the rules makes this system not sufficiently effective.
    Przedmiotem opracowania jest analiza regulacji zachowań inwestorów zagranicznych na rynkach krajów przyjmujących poprzez zalecenia zawarte w Wytycznych OECD dla przedsiębiorstw wielonarodowych oraz próba oceny skuteczności takiego rozwiązania i jego adekwatności do potrzeb i wyzwań, jakie niosą z sobą procesy globalizacji. Przeprowadzona analiza prowadzi do wniosku, że wprawdzie treść zaleceń zamieszczonych w Wytycznych OECD 2011 uwzględnia najbardziej palące problemy występujące w obszarze funkcjonowania przedsiębiorstw transnarodowych, w szczególności – w zakresie działalności inwestycyjnej, jednak niewiążący prawnie charakter przyjętych zasad powoduje, że system regulacji zachowań inwestorów, którego podstawę stanowią Wytyczne, nie zapewnia dostatecznie skutecznie ich przestrzegania.
