    Czy jest to ,,jasne jak słońce”? O tłumaczeniu niderlandzkich porównań frazeologicznych na język czeski Niderlandzkie związki frazeologiczne, tak jak inne rodzaje idiomów, nie mogą być tłumaczone dosłownie. Zawsze należy brać pod uwagę specyficzny szerszy kontekst, w którym występują. Z drugiej strony tłumacze mogą czerpać korzyści ze stałej struktury składniowo-semantycznej porównań oraz z wielu podobieństw między językami w zakresie frazeologii. W niektórych przypadkach tłumacze mogą także inspirować się tłumaczeniami, które są częścią różnych korpusów równoległych. Niniejszy artykuł opisuje i charakteryzuje pokrótce niderlandzkie porównania, następnie prezentuje sposoby tłumaczenia tych wyrażeń na inne języki. System tłumaczeniowy w artykule ilustrowany jest przykładami niderlandzkich porównań i ich czeskich odpowiedników. Na koniec, w oparciu o fragmenty tekstów z korpusu równoległego InterCorp, zbadano sposób, w jaki zostały przetłumaczone niderlandzkie porównania przymiotnikowe w czeskich przekładach niderlandzkich tekstów literackich. “Is het zo klaar als een klontje?” Over het vertalen van Nederlandse vaste vergelijkingen in het Tsjechisch Nederlandse vaste vergelijkingen kunnen — net als andere typen idiomen — niet letterlijk woord voor woord worden vertaald. De specifieke, bredere context waarin ze voorkomen, moet altijd in aanmerking worden genomen. Aan de andere kant kunnen vertalers profiteren van de vaste syntactisch-semantische structuur van de vergelijkingen en van de vele overeenkomsten tussen talen op fraseologisch gebied. In verschillende gevallen kunnen ze zich ook laten inspireren door vertalingen die deel uitmaken van verschillende parallelle corpora. In dit artikel worden Nederlandse vergelijkingen kort beschreven en gekarakteriseerd. Vervolgens worden de mogelijkheden besproken om deze specifieke idiomen in andere talen te vertalen. Dit systeem wordt geïllustreerd aan de hand van verschillende voorbeelden van Nederlandse vergelijkingen en hun Tsjechische equivalenten. Ten slotte wordt op basis van fragmenten uit het parallelle corpus InterCorp de manier onderzocht waarop Nederlandse adjectivische vergelijkingen werden vertaald in Tsjechische vertalingen van Nederlandse literaire teksten.
    The Dutch similes cannot—similarly to other types of idioms—be translated literally word by word. The specific, broader context in which they occur, must always be taken into account. On the other hand, the translators can benefit from the fixed syntactic-semantic structure of the similes and from the many similarities between languages in the field of phraseology. In various cases they can also get inspired by the translations that are part of the different parallel corpora. In this article the Dutch similes are briefly described and characterized. Then the possibilities are discussed how these specific idioms can be translated into other languages. This system is illustrated with several examples of the Dutch similes and their Czech equivalents. Finally, on the basis of the excerpts from the parallel corpus InterCorp, the way is investigated in which the Dutch adjective-based similes were translated in the Czech translations of Dutch literary texts.

    Opis:
    In deze bijdrage wordt bekeken, hoe talige communicatieve interactie kan worden bestudeerd als een communicatief spel. De taal wordt begrepen als een complexe communicatieve vaardigheid die naast expliciete uitspraken uit een impliciete laag vooronderstellingen bestaat. Deze impliciete vooronderstellingen zijn bepalend voor het succes van het communicatieve handelen. Achtereenvolgens wordt de situationele, de sociale en de culturele context van talige interactie bekeken. De context wordt hier begrepen als impliciete aannames die betrekking hebben op de interactie zelf en op de sociale en culturele omstandigheden. Samen vormen ze een onlosmakelijk geheel. Hierbij wordt teruggegrepen op de theorieën van Jürgen Habermas die een onderscheid maakt tussen rationeel en strategisch rationeel handelen. Na een kort exposé over didactiek van vreemde talen in Nederland in het verleden, met speciale aandacht voor de ideeën van Jan Amos Comenius, wordt aandacht besteed aan veranderingen in de didactische aanpak in de jongste tijd.
    Niniejszy artykuł poświęcony jest zagadnieniu możliwości badania językowej interakcji komunikacyjnej jako gry komunikacyjnej. Interakcja ta, postrzegana jako gra komunikacyjna, składa się z jawnych wypowiedzi i argumentów, a także ukrytych założeń. Celem projektu jest zbadanie sytuacji, w jakich odbywa się interakcja językowa, jej społecznego i kulturowego kontekstu. Kontekst rozumiany jest jako ukryte założenia, związane z sytuacją komunikacyjną i towarzyszącymi jej okolicznościami społecznymi i kulturowymi. Opierając się na teoriach Jürgena Habermasa, który dokonał rozróżnienia między działaniami racjonalnymi i strategicznie racjonalnymi, autorka dowodzi, że kontekst dyskusji ma krytycznie istotne znaczenie dla osiągnięcia celu komunikacyjnego. Po krótkim omówieniu dydaktyki języków obcych w Niderlandach w przeszłości, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem myśli Jana Amosa Komeńskiego, omawia zmiany w nauczaniu w tym obszarze w ostatnich czasach.
    In this contribution, we examine how linguistic communicative interaction can be studied as a communicative game. This communicative game consists not only of explicit statements and arguments, but also of implicit presuppositions. The aim of this project is to study the situations and the social and cultural context of linguistic interaction. The context is understood as being one of implicit presuppositions related to the communicative situation and to the social and cultural circumstances. It is shown that the context of the discussion is critical for reaching the communicative goal. The theories of Jürgen Habermas, who distinguishes between rational and strategic rational action, will be taken as a starting point. After a short exposé on foreign language didactics in the Netherlands in the past, with special attention paid to the ideas of Jan Amos Comenius, the focus turns to changes in didactic approaches in recent times.

    Opis:
    Honderd jaar na de opvoering in het Servisch Nationaal Theater in Novi Sad is de in handschriftvorm bewaard gebleven Servische vertaling van Heijermans’ Op hoop van zegen voor het eerst gepubliceerd. Nader onderzoek heeft uitgewezen dat die vertaling gemaakt was voor de première in 1905 in het Nationaal Theater te Belgrado en dat de vertaler de Duitse vertaling van Franziska de Graaff heeft gebruikt als brontekst. Een grondige analyse van zijn vertaling brengt zijn vertaalstrategieën aan het licht maar toont ook aan dat er lichte wijzigingen zijn die naar een eigen inbreng of naar een andere bron zouden kunnen verwijzen. Bovendien zijn hele passages doorstreept maar zonder nadere uitleg van die ingreep. Wat de receptie van de opvoeringen betreft getuigen de schaarse recensies ervan dat het geen onverdeeld succes was. Een anonieme recensent verweet Heijermans vooral zijn ongenuanceerde kritiek op het kapitalisme. Twee anderen zagen het probleem vooral in de gebrekkige opvoering en slechte rolverdeling. Desalniettemin blijkt Heijermans meerdere sporen te hebben achtergelaten in de Servische receptiegeschiedenis wat vooral te danken is aan zijn bekendheid in Duitsland. Perifere culturen vinden immers makkelijker tot elkaar via centrale bemiddelaars.
    Sto lat po wystawieniu sztuki Hermana Heijermansa pt. Op hoop van zegen (Nadzieja) w Serbskim Teatrze Narodowym w Nowym Sadzie po raz pierwszy ukazało się drukiem serbskie tłumaczenie tego dramatu, dotąd istniejące wyłącznie w wersji odręcznej. Jak wykazały badania, przekład ten powstał przed premierą w 1905 roku w Teatrze Narodowym w Belgradzie, a tłumacz posłużył się jako tekstem źródłowym niemieckim przekładem Franziski de Graaff. Dokładna analiza przekładu ujawnia strategie translatorskie tłumacza, jak również pokazuje drobne zmiany, wprowadzone przez samego tłumacza lub zaczerpnięte z innego źródła. Dowiadujemy się także, że niektóre fragmenty tekstu oryginalnego zostały skreślone bez wyjaśnienia przyczyn takiej decyzji tłumacza. Jeśli chodzi o recepcję spektakli, nieliczne recenzje na ich temat świadczą o tym, że dramat Heijermansa nie odniósł spektakularnego sukcesu. Anonimowy recenzent obwiniał autora głównie za jego uproszczoną krytykę kapitalizmu. Dwóch innych widziało problem głównie w słabej inscenizacji i niewłaściwej obsadzie. Niemniej jednak wydaje się, że Heijermans pozostawił kilka śladów w historii serbskiej recepcji, co wynika głównie z jego sławy w Niemczech. Wszak kulturom peryferyjnym łatwiej jest dotrzeć do siebie poprzez centralnych mediatorów.
    One hundred years after its performance at the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad, the Serbian translation of Heijermans’s Op Hoop van Zegen (The Good Hope), which has been preserved in handwritten form, was finally published for the first time. Further investigation has shown that this translation was made for the 1905 premiere at the National Theatre in Belgrade and that the translator used the German translation by Franziska de Graaff as the source text. A thorough analysis of his translation reveals his translation strategies but also shows that there are slight changes that could refer to his own input or to another source. Moreover, entire passages have been crossed out, but without any further explanation of that procedure. As for the reception of the performances, the sparse reviews testify that it was not an unqualified success with the public. An anonymous reviewer especially blamed Heijermans for his oversimplified criticism of capitalism. Two others saw the problem mainly in the poor staging and poor division of roles. Nevertheless, Heijermans appears to have left several traces in Serbian reception history, which is mainly due to his fame in Germany. After all, peripheral cultures reach each other easier through central mediators.
