The paper presents the results of an experiment devoted to studying attention distribution and switching using eye-tracking technology. The experiment was conducted in two stages. At the first stage (year 2016), 48 students majoring in air traffic control were examined. At the second stage (year 2017), 43 students studying to become civil aviation pilots were involved. Correlation analysis methods and Pearson’s chi-squared test were used.

The article is divided into two parts. The first part analyzes theoretical concepts like values and teacher stress during COVID-19, along with attitudes toward remote work. The second part uses qualitative survey analysis to evaluate productivity from self-assessment, well-being and work life-quality. The aim of this article is to show the relationship of values, formulated goals and their rationality with the quality of academic teacher productivity, working life, and sense of psychological well-being, during the COVID-19 epidemic. The research was conducted among a group of 18 (n=18) university teachers, through the use of 18 structured in-depth interviews, addressing the issue of the quality of life and professional functioning of this group of people. As part of the research process, was coded. This article is devoted to the axiological aspects of the lives of university teachers during the COVID-19 epidemic in Poland.

We developed, justified and verified methodological foundations for the professional training of specialists in public management of quality and security of socio-cultural forms of education, science and innovation systems of diploma-training of future representatives of the academic sphere, successors of scientific heritage of the trans-boundary level to consolidate the efforts of quality and safety cohesion of acquired and prolonged trajectories of employment and professional development , pleasure insurance according to the needs and requirements of interested and academically worthy and capable categories of applicants for educational and scientific services and consulting and advisory services to build intellectual and emotional capacity of perspective development of transcultural interaction of communicative perception of understanding and consent of diverse categories of society without breaking the biosocial stability equilibrium. We achieved the goals of axiological analysis of conceptual and categorical apparatus with regard to the problem of professional training of future public management specialists on the basis of scientific schools of managerialism in philosophical, psychological and pedagogical and managerial literature; we established the semantics of organization of professional training of future public management specialists for teaching activity ; we justified the structure of professional competence of future public management specialists. We applied a set of methods – axiological analysis, systemic and institutional for semantics of the training management system in higher education institutions and the development of methods for organizing professional training of future public management specialists for teaching activity; method of analogy and probabilistic modeling.

Problematyka artykułu dotyczy pomiaru kompetencji zawodowych i mieści się w dziedzinie zarządzania zasobami ludzkimi. Aby efektywnie zarządzać kompetencjami, należy je obiektywnie i dokładnie identyfikować, zarówno w aspekcie badania kompetencji rzeczywistych, jak i programowania kompetencji pożądanych (wymaganych). Pomiar kompetencji umożliwia m.in. ich ilościową i jakościową analizę. Wyszczególniono zadania dotyczące pomiaru kompetencji. Dokonano przeglądu metod pomiaru kompetencji oraz opracowano koncepcję jakościowego ujęcia i pomiaru kompetencji, opartą na metodologicznych przesłankach kwalitologii. Wykorzystując opracowaną koncepcję, sformułowano propozycje doskonalenia pomiaru kompetencji w Systemie Zawodowcy.
The subject matter of this paper concerns competence measurement and falls within the ambit of human resource management. The efficiency of management involves the objective and precise identification of actual competences and also adequate programming of the required competences. Quantitative and qualitative analyses are performed based on competency measurements. The tasks related to competence measurements are listed. An overview of the competence measurement methods was conducted. A conceptual framework was proposed for a qualitative approach to competence measurement, based on the methodological principles of qualitology. The formulated concept was applied to recognize the perspectives for the development of competence measurement within System Professionals.

Introduction. Myocardial infarction is the most common cardiovascular disease. It is the necrosis of muscle cells in a particular area of the heart, caused by the coronary vessel occlusion, usually due to atherosclerotic plaque rapture. A patient after a heart attack must make necessary changes related to his current lifestyle. Early diagnosis of the disease, invasive treatment, early rehabilitation and nursing care determine recovery and the return to a normal life and work . The aim. The aim of this study is to recognize selected problems affecting the quality of life of a patient after myocardial infarction. A case report. The patient was hospitalized because of a severe chest pain and the feeling of numbness in the upper limbs. He requires observation and help with moving and performing everyday activities. The patient fears for his own life. Discussion. The topic of the discussion are symptoms, diagnostics and risk factors for myocardial infarction. Issues related to the impact of the disease on the patient's professional activity and the quality of life in all spheres were raised. Results and conclusions. Myocardial infarction and its consequences , significantly disturb the patient's performance in all areas of his life. I n addition to pharmacotherapy, care and rehabilitation, educational activities aiming at the patient and his family in order to change their lifestyle are of key importance.
Wstęp. Zawał mięśnia sercowego jest najczęściej występującym schorzeniem układu krążenia. Jest to martwica komórek mięśniowych określonego obszaru serca, która została wywołana zamknięciem światła naczynia wieńcowego, najczęściej w wyniku pęknięcia blaszki miażdżycowej. Pacjent po zawale serca musi dokonać wielu zmian związanych z jego dotychczasowym trybem życia. Jak najwcześniejsze rozpoznanie choroby, inwazyjne leczenie, wczesna rehabilitacja oraz opieka pielęgniarska warunkują powrót do zdrowia oraz do życia w środowisku domowym i zawodowym. Cel. Celem niniejszej pracy jest rozpoznanie i analiza wybranych problemów wpływających na jakość życia pacjenta po przebytym zawale mięśnia sercowego. Opis przypadku. Pacjent hospitalizowany z powodu silnego bólu w klatce piersiowej oraz uczucia drętwienia kończyn górnych. Wymaga obserwacji oraz pomocy przy poruszaniu się oraz wykonywaniu czynności dnia codziennego. Pacjent czuje lęk oraz strach o własne życie. Dyskusja. Tematem dyskusji są objawy, diagnostyka oraz czynniki ryzyka zawału mięśnia sercowego. Zostały poruszone tematy związane z wpływem choroby na aktywność zawodową pacjenta oraz jakość życia we wszystkich sferach. Wyniki i wnioski. Zawał serca i jego konsekwencje znacząco zaburzają funkcjonowanie pacjenta we wszystkich obszarach jego życia. Istotnym elementem obok farmakoterapii, pielęgnacji i rehabilitacji mają działania edukacyjne ukierunkowane na pacjenta i jego rodzinę w celu zmiany stylu życia.

The aim of this study was to identify sleep problems in a select group of professional soldiers. For the study used a questionnaire containing the Athens Insomnia Scale by Soldatos, allowing klinimetric evaluation of sleep disorders reflecting mainly insomnia. Material Data were obtained from 200 professional soldiers. The results showed no pathological abnormalities of sleep study population, however, the results show some reduction in the prevalence of symptoms of sleep quality based on the selected factors. The health status of all the soldiers experiencing combat stress requires periodic and thorough control since the diagnosis of disorders is difficult and they can appear even after a long period of lived events. This may lead to look for other ways to deal with problems; the use of psychoactive substances or drug abuse. Therefore it is extremely important to use therapeutic activities.

The following article is the third publication presenting the results of a study concerning the professional activity of handicapped people (see: „Nauka” 1/2008 and „Nauka” 2/2008). The purpose of this part of the research was to determine whether there is a relationship between professional status, life satisfaction, and various personal competencies among handicapped people. Apart from this, we also wanted to establish what conditions personal competencies by focusing on social-demographic factors and disability characteristics. The tested competencies were isolated from the administered questionnaire using a factor analysis. Seven factors were found: locus of control, level of aspiration, potential for development, effort invested in development, impulsiveness, stamina, and mood. Analysis of the results leads to the following conclusions: (1) personal competencies are significantly related to professional activity for handicapped people, as is level of life satisfaction, (2) personal competencies are related to external factors shaping the development of handicapped people, such as: dwelling, gender, level of disability, and type of disability.

The article highlights the obtained results on conducting an institutional audit of the professional military education system in educational institutions of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The directions of further development of institutional audit mechanisms for evaluation of professional military education quality on the way to achieving compatibility of training processes according to NATO standards were substantiated. The results of the experiment confirm that institutional audit is a common element on the way to achieve compatibility of personnel training processes on NATO quality principles. The authors of the article use a system of general scientific and special methods of theoretical and empirical research (systematization, generalization, systematic approach) and methods of expert evaluation.

The purpose of this article is to show the types of problems and difficulties of high school youth, with particular attention paid to their change and transformations that have taken place over the last few years. Having the ability of the efficient getting around the labour market is now necessary for everyone who enters the adults life and intends to start professional work. Finding a job these times, requires the skills of coping with the constantly changing conditions. Some jobs have been disappearing, while others are appearing. Therefore, the need for the constant improvement of qualifications and lifelong learning, must be often satisfied by almost all participants in the labour market. Finding the first job usually causes a lot of problems, thus it is important to have the appropriate support system, which can be provided by schools. Its mission is to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills needed in order to select the proper fields of education, or profession and appropriate incorporate their aspirations into the expectations of the employer. The school can achieve such tasks by a number of its own initiatives, namely, the career counseling, and/or special subject-matter projects. The school plays a very important role in preparing young people for the entry into the adults life. However, a person who wants to remain active in the labour market should be flexible and adapt himself/herself to constantly changing conditions. He/she will be still professionally active, if he/she keeps fulfilling such conditions.

For the purpose of specifying the concept of the quality of preschool education, this publication presents part of the results of a wider study aimed at researching the notion of the “good/quality kindergarten teacher”. 72 students preparing to become preschool teachers in the Faculty of Primary and Preschool Education of the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in Bulgaria took part in this research. The main method used for research is analysis of the students’ individual written essays on the subject “My idea of a good/quality kindergarten teacher”. The collected essays were subjected to qualitative analysis aimed at the distribution of the contained opinions regarding the essence of the notion of “good/quality kindergarten teacher” into an unlimited number of semantic categories, provisionally divided into two main groups: 1) general personal qualities, skills, attitudes, etc.; and 2) specialized professional qualities, skills, attitudes, etc. This paper presents the distributions of 136 categories, defined following the analysis of the data. Since half of the participating students (36) were approached at the beginning of their university education and the other half (36) participated during the middle of their last year, the publication specifically marks some of the most important differences in the relevant viewpoints of first-year students in comparison to the opinion of graduating students.

Background: The fact that professional activity is reduced is a very challenging experience for persons with cancer whose sense of self-worth is linked to their work. Not only does cancer often become the reason for their deteriorated socio-economic position but it also reduces the quality of life assessment in cancer patients. Material and Methods: The aim of the study was to discover the sense and meaning that women with cancer ascribe to their professional work. The research was carried out among 6 women diagnosed with cancer, aged 32–49 years. A qualitative research strategy was adopted in the study and interpretative phenomenological analysis was applied. Results: Based on the conducted research, when faced with cancer, the respondents often perceive professional work as a factor that triggers cancer and, at the same time, one that can increase their self-esteem, giving meaning to their life. It, therefore, seems crucial to support the professional activity of cancer patients and to create jobs promoting health. Conclusions: When working with a person suffering from cancer, it is worth considering the possibilities that returning to work is likely to carry. It is important to create such jobs and work environments that would be consistent with the concept of health promotion. It seems that the key factors here are the appointment of persons responsible for the return process of a person with a chronic illness, accompanied by efficient communication between the employer and occupational health services, and efficient exchange of information between the treating physician and the workplace (with the employee’s consent).
