Opis:: Wniosek Burmistrza Trzebiatowa w sprawie uznania zespołu staromiejskiego w Trzebiatowie za Pomnik Historii został przekazany Ministrowi Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego w kwietniu 2011 r. Do tej pory nie nastąpiło rozstrzygnięcie w tej sprawie. Trzebiatów to miasto położone w powiecie gryfickim, w województwie zachodniopomorskim. Podstawą do złożenia wniosku o przyznanie tytułu Pomnika Historii były: • Zachowany średniowieczny układ urbanistyczny zespołu staromiejskiego z czytelnym podziałem katastralnym; • Zachowana historyczna zabudowa w obrębie murów obronnych, • Wpis terenu Starego Miasta do rejestru zabytków; • 40 obiektów w granicach Starego Miasta wpisano do rejestru; • Na terenie Starego Miasta obowiązuje miejscowy plan zagospodarowania przestrzennego w formie planu rewaloryzacji, uchwalony przez Radę Miasta Trzebiatowa w 1996 r. Przywołano procedury uznania i kryteria wyboru Pomnika Historii. Przedstawiono zarys historii miasta oraz działania konserwatorskie i planistyczne, wskazując przy tym jego wartości materialne i niematerialne. W konkluzji wyrażono przekonanie, że wymienione wartości spełniają kryteria wyboru postawione przez MKiDN.
The Mayor of Trzebiatów's application to recognize the Old Town Complex in Trzebiatów as a Monument to History was submitted to the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in April 2011. Trzebiatów is a town located in the poviat (district) of Gryfice, in the Zachodniopomorskie Voivodeship. The basis for submitting the application for the title of the Monument of History was the following: - Preserved medieval urban layout of the Old Town complex with a clear cadastral division; - Preserved historical buildings within the defensive walls, - Entry of the Old Town area into the register of historical monuments; - 40 objects within the Old Town boundaries are entered into the historical monuments register; - In the Old Town there is a local spatial development plan in the form of a revaluation plan, adopted by the Trzebiatów City Council in 1996. The outline of the city's history as well as conservation and planning activities are presented, indicating at the same time its material and non-material values. The conclusion expressed the conviction that these values meet the selection criteria set by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.

Opis:: A set of conservation and restoration problems has been presented with concern to a tenement house situated within the southeastern frontage of the market square at Trzebiatów. The technical decsription of that house is followed by a chronological survey that covers the period from its erection and early reconstructions during the second half of the 14th century up to the adaptations and renovations carried out in the 19th and 20th centuries. The above-mentioned chronological survey has been made on the basis of restoration works during which a number of analyses were conducted on the revealed wall portions and details. In conclusion of the article some outlines concerning the restoration have been given by the author who is of opinion that the layout of the house in question should be reconstructed basing on that from the Baroque times, i.e. 17th century for which the most abundant source materials are now available. The façades, however, should be brought back to their forms from the Renaissance period (16th—17th century) with the simultaneous displaying of portions dating from earlier times.

Opis:: The town of Trzebiatów is situated on the banks of the Rega river in the Northern Pomerania. The author presents a ^survey of the town’s development during the period covering the times from the 12th up to the 19th century. He also devotes a good deal of his consideration to conditoins prevailing in our days. In Trzebiatów there are: the Old Town district and a number of historic buildings sited within areas th a t once were situated outside the town walls (the extra-muros areas). Unfortunately, the majority of historic buildings are in poor technical condition as a consequence of heavy traffic that is being carried by streets running within an area of the Old Town district. In the town’s development plan have been foreseen the intensification of touring, the extension of services and the improving of housing situation have been foreseen. The main tendency of rehabilitation of the ancient hub of the town consists in safeguarding of the basic components of urban organism. This in turn necessitates the adaptation of numerous objects to their new functions. The detailed development plan furnishes a good basis for rehabilitation of the Old Town quarter where the services and housing are to be concentrated. The programme prepared anticipates the conservation or restoration of ancient buildings as well as their adaptation and in also the renovation and adaptation of the remaining buildings, the erection of new buildings and the modernization of traffic system. The possibilities to modernize the urban facilities to create the green belts and to introduce the small-scale architectural objects are also taken into account. Investigations carried out jointly by the Ateliers for Conservation of Cultural Property and the Experimental Division of the Institute of Architectural Planning, Technical University, Szczecin, enabled the reconstruction of the original parcelling scheme in locational town and at the same time the listing of the best preserved objects exhibiting medieval features in their- architectural forms. The author advances his suggestions as to the sequence of restoration works within the old urban hub. He also points to the problem of new building th a t should be subordinated to process of rehabilitation. He deals in detail with these kinds of new building th a t can be introduced into historic district of the town. Furthermore, he makes some suggestions concerning the solution of traffic system through introduction of single — direction traffic and, above all, of by -pass routes. The poor at present conditions of installation network and that of urban facilities make it necessary to carry out substantial improvements. It is proposed by the author to introduce to area subjected to rehabilitation the low and medium-height plants and shrubs. In conclusion dealt with has been co-operation between the Institute of Architectural Planning, Technical University, Szczecin, and the Ateliers for Conservation of Cultural Property the main objective of which consists in maintaining of the town of Trzebiatów as a living urban organism and also as a witness of the culture of the past and present times.
