    Opis:
    Method of direct cooling of winding bar utilizing liquid medium contacting with side surface along whole bar length is described in the paper. Main advantage of that cooling method is avoiding necessity of increasing length of passive parts of bar and therefore decreasing losses in the winding. Besides that cooling method enables effective regulation of cooling intensity by changing medium speed in cooling duct. The method for calculation of thermal distribution along length of bar for given dimension of bar and cooling duct, current density and medium speed is presented. Also the solution of reverse problem in, which for known bar and duct dimension, current density and given maximum value of temperature, the medium speed in canal is calculated. The calculations results of maximum value of bar temperature for different length, current density and medium speed are presented. Also dependence of medium speed on bar length and current density for known maximum value of bar temperature is discussed.

    Opis:
    The design of permanent magnet electrical machine for direct drive of electric car with specific requirements is presented in this paper. This car is designed for city transport with maximum speed 60 km / h and can be fully used by handicapped persons. The car is driven by two machines placed within the 15 inch rim of the back wheels. In the work the solution of magnetic circuit, fractional slot winding, bearing system and the way of cooling of machine is commented in details. Based on the 2D FEM the back emf waveforms versus different pole arc of the magnet is calculated. The way how to determine the magnet pole span, at which there are minimal electromagnetic torque ripple.

    Opis:
    The paper compares several winding types of six-phase permanent magnet synchronous machine with rated power of 2.5 kW and rotation speed 1500 rpm (4 poles). Uniform thickness surface permanent magnets were used in this machine. No uniform air gap was obtained by moving the tip of central angle of magnet relative to the center of the rotor. It was considered full pitch and short pitching winding type with 24 and 30 slots, without skew and with slots skew. In case of 30 slots, to obtain shift of 30 electrical degrees between the fundamental harmonics of EMF in appropriate phases in one coil in each phase, the number of turns have been decreased. Based on parametric 2D FEM model Back-EMF waveforms were determined in each windings according to the magnet span and movement of its central angle tip. THD, RMS phase voltages and power pulse ratio were adopted to evaluate the windings types.
    W pracy porównano warianty uzwojenia sześciofazowej maszyny synchronicznej z magnesami trwałymi o mocy 2.5 kW i prędkości obrotowej 1500 obr/min (4 bieguny). W maszynie zastosowano magnesy powierzchniowe o jednakowej grubości. Przez przesunięcie wierzchołka kąta środkowego magnesu względem środka wirnika uzyskano nierównomierną szczelinę powietrzną. Rozpatrzono uzwojenia średnicowe i skrócone rozłożone w 24 i 30 żłobkach, bez skosu i ze skosem żłobków. W przypadku 30 żłobków, w celu uzyskania przesunięcia o 30 stopni pomiędzy pierwszymi harmonicznymi napięć indukowanych w odpowiednich fazach, w jednym zezwoju w każdej fazie zmniejszono liczbę zwojów. Na podstawie parametrycznego modelu polowego 2D wyznaczono przebiegi napięć indukowanych w poszczególnych uzwojeniach w zależności od wielkości kąta magnesu i przesunięcia jego wierzchołka. Do oceny rozpatrywanych wariantów uzwojeń przyjęto THD napięć fazowych i przewodowych RMS pierwszej harmonicznej napięcia oraz współczynnik pulsacji mocy.

    In this paper, the construction of high speed disk machine with permanent magnet and coreless armature with involutes-radial winding was presented. Nominal, constructions and material parameters designing machine was defined. To solve magnetic circuit three-dimensional reluctant net method was used. Results of distribution of magnetic induction compare with results getting from finite element method. Method to calculations average and effective value of wire voltage in involutes-radial winding was presented. Thermal calculations for one winding bar was realized using substituted thermal net. Electromagnetic and thermal design calculations were formulated as an optimization problem. Economic criterion expressing cost effective material was assumed. Requirements imposed on design construction were formulated in the form of limitations optimization problem. To solve optimization task, ready procedure based on sequence square programming algorithm was used. Strategy of search of optimal construction was developed. Results of project calculations for different relation of material cost were presented.

    Thermal calculations of electrical permanent magnet disc machine with coreless armature winding, with liquid cooling of winding bars sections is presented in the paper. Problems with heat emission concerning winding bar placed in technical vacuum are discussed. Thermal calculation is performed for single winding bar. Structure and parameters of thermal net bar and bar with radiator are discussed. To solve nonlinear system of equations, method of nodal potential is used. Results of calculations for different value of current density, different bar and radiator dimensions and different value of convection coefficient are presented.

    In this paper, the construction of permanent magnet machine with external rotor was presented. The liquid coolant cooling of the machine was discussed. Distribution of the temperature in cross section of the machine obtained from the solution of thermal network in steady state, was presented. The influence of parameters the cooling medium on temperature distribution in different parts of the machine was studied. The dependence of the maximum temperature of the stator windings on the degree of overloading the machine and the coolant flow rate was calculated. Maximum continuous overload the machine, at which the winding temperature does not exceed the accepted maximum value was specified.

    The paper presents the construction of the coreless permanent magnet tubular linear motor. Detailed design and the manufacture technology of the complete physical model are described. The parametric field model of the machine is showed as well as the results of the calculation of the back-EMF and the force affecting the mover (moving part). The machine with the constant speed of the mover is analyzed in three cases: without power supply, with direct current source and sinewave voltage source. Simulation results are compared with measurements taken from the physical model. Additionally, an influence of a stator container tube length on cogging force characteristics was investigated, leading to a calculation of an optimal length, where the cogging force is minimal.

    The recent increase in fish production has resulted in the accumulation of fish pond sediment. This sediment accumulates over time and can lead to a reduction in the depth of ponds and in the living space available for fish, it may also lead to a depletion in dissolved oxygen. Therefore, the removal of sediment from fresh water ponds is crucial for pond maintenance, and thus economical fish production. Fish pond sediment is rich in nutrients and organic matter, and therefore it may have potential as a fertilizer in crop production, nursery pot culture, etc. However, it contains compounds that undergo rapid degradation producing unpleasant odours and posing a threat to the environment, therefore it needs to be managed and handled efficiently in an environmentally sound and sustainable manner. The overall goal of this study was to analyse the current state and management practices of fish pond sediment generated in the existing aquaculture systems, with special reference to organic aquaculture, and the potential for the recovery of nutrients through bioconversion processes to organic fertilizers.
