Opis:: This paper reports the second species of the genus Laotia Saurin, 1953. L. pahiensis Saurin, 1953 was described from Laos, Pa Hia, whereas the new species, L. christahemmenae n. sp. was collected in Ha Noi Province, Vietnam, approximately 350 km NE of the type localty of the Laotian species. The new species is approximately twice larger than its congener, and has a ribbed shell with a smooth area behind its aperture. In contrast, L. pahiensis is ribbed until the peristome or the ribbing stops very close to the peristome. It is uncertain if Laotia should be placed in Diplommatinidae or in Alycaeidae.

Opis:: The first record of Trochulus bielzi (E. A. Bielz) is reported from Hungary (Zemplén Mts, Nyíri-patak valley near Füzérkomlós). The anatomy and two shells of T. bielzi are illustrated, and the new locality is shown on a map. Exact measurements of epiphallus, flagellum, penis and vagina of T. bielzi from the new locality and from Romania, and of some other similar Trochulus species (unidentatus (Draparnaud), filicinus (L. Pfeiffer), bakowskii (Poliński)), as well as length proportions of these organs are given. Some of the differences in the length ratios of the genital organs may prove useful when identifying members of Trochulus.

Opis:: In this paper two new localities of the hygromiid land snail Plicuteria lubomirski (Ślósarski, 1881) are reported from Romania (Suceava and Harghita Counties). Its presence at the Lacu Roou (Gyilkos-tó) area represents the southeasternmost occurrence of the species. The only sample of P. lubomirski hitherto reported from Romania (leg. JICKELI in 1888 at Borsec Bai) seems to be lost from museum collections. The northern Carpathian distributional type is suggested for the species. The nomenclatural problem regarding the spelling of the specific name (i.e. lubomirskii or lubomirski) is discussed. The original, but less frequently used spelling (lubomirski) is suggested based on our understanding of the regulations of the ICZN.
