Opis:
The objective of this work is to demonstrate the use of multiscale curvature tensor analysis to characterize deformations of piezoelectric bimorph actuator and to study the relation between loaded electric charge and the resulting deformed surface curvature. In particular, the strength of the correlations between surface shape characterized by curvature parameters (i.e., principal, Gaussian or mean curvature) and charge density is sought. The impact that the scale of the analysis of the curvature can have on the values of the curvature parameters for the deformed surfaces and the correlation with discharge energy is also studied. In this study the deformations of piezoelectric bimorph actuators are studied. In order to achieve quasi-static measurements, a dedicated charge amplifier was built to supply charge to the actuator. The deformations were then measured by Polytec® 3D laser scanning vibrometer PSV-400 by integration of captured motion. The obtained data was used to calculate curvature tensor field at multiple scales by applying the normal-based method. Principal, mean and Gaussian curvature was calculated at multiple scales and were correlated with applied charge. The obtained results contribute to better understanding of piezoelectric behavior under electric field.

Opis:
This paper demonstrates kinematic analysis of multiple trailers on a tractor system for production logistics. The analysis concerned three different steering systems of the trailers: virtual clutch and drawbar system, conventional clutch and drawbar system, double Ackermann steering system. Designed kinematic models contain various variants of paths: turning at a constant value of the steering angle, changing the steering angle as a result of an approaching collision. Each of these variants also included driving in a straight line after a 90° turn. The validation of the developed kinematic model was done by using a real logistic train, which path was registered via aerial drone. For each of the developed kinematic models, a visualization of drive through the 90° turn was created.

Opis:
Extremely hard environmental conditions during firefighting operations cause that scientific research work are stilt performed aimed at development of new kind of smart protective clothing, equipped with systems supporting communication and delivering complex data about firefighters health status, as well as about conditions m then surroundings. Those systems can support firefighter's work and contribute to improvement of his safety during operation. However, it is crucial that they meet firefighters' expectations and are adjusted to their working conditions. Therefore, this publication presents the results of a survey research carried out among firefighters focused on defining their needs on relation to smart protective clothing with the hazards warning system.

Opis:
Purpose: The development of digital technology is one of the most important factors driving changes in consumer behavior in the 21st century. Today, the sharing economy covers more and more areas of consumers' daily lives. Using online apps to exchange, sell, buy or rent clothes has become one of the most popular ways of consuming fashion around the world. The main objective of this paper is to assess the importance and estimate the impact of the determinants (motives and unpleasant user experience) of providers' engagement in collaborative fashion consumption (CFC). Design/methodology/approach: The study was conducted using an online survey with 420 respondents in Poland - users (providers) of CFC platforms. A confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation model (SEM) was performed using AMOS 21.0 version. The conducted research allowed to identify the importance and to determine the influence of examined factors on attitudes toward CFCs and willingness to use CFC apps in the future. Findings: Economic motives did not outperform non-economic motives to participate as a provider in CFC. Pragmatic motives were by far the most important determinants of fashion sharing. Environmental factors are an important reason for providers to participate in CFC but they may not be a direct motivation for CC participation. Social motives recorded the lowest average importance rating in the context of participation in CFC. Unpleasant user experience negatively influence both the attitudes toward using CFC apps and the willingness to use them in the future Research limitations/implications: The research was conducted only on Polish users, so due to cultural differences, the meaning and impact of the motives of using these apps may be different in other countries. Due to the method of sampling and sample size, the results cannot be treated as representative for the population of Polish users of CFC platforms. Future research could include conducting cross-country research and one may attempt to broaden the scope to include other categories of motives. Future research could also extend the scope of unpleasant user experience with other factors. Practical implications: The results of research on the motives of users' use of CFC apps should be useful for enterprises in the context of designing activities in the field of marketing communication. Originality/value: The paper fills a research gap in the field of research on the determinants of polish providers' engagement in collaborative fashion consumption (CFC).

Opis:
In recent years, there has been a noticeable increase in consumer interest in participating in the sharing economy. One of the markets in which this is particularly visible is the clothing market. Dynamic technological progress and the virtualisation of life have contributed to the creation of applications with which consumers can buy, exchange or borrow clothes. The use of this type of application is treated as a manifestation of sustainable consumption. The main aim of the article is to determine the influence of selected motives on the attitudes towards these applications and their use. The article discusses the results of the research conducted in 2021 on a sample of 412 respondents. Confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modelling were used in the process of analysing the results. The research results suggest that the most important motives for using the discussed applications were economic and utility, with their impact on attitudes towards these applications and the willingness to use them confirmed. Social motives turned out to be the lowest-rated group of determinants. Moreover, their negative impact on both attitudes towards the application and the willingness to use it was confirmed. Ecological motives turned out to be relatively important determinants of using the discussed solutions. Their influence on attitudes towards the application and consumption behaviour was confirmed.

Opis:
The purpose of this study is to outline the current problems with the company's documentation workflow process and propose a plan to implement a new automated system to eliminate waste and improve the company's cash flow. Every enterprise is required to accurately record business operations. Accounting is the foundation of an organization, serving not only to meet legal requirements, but also to support management processes. In the case of large enterprises, complex accounting carries the risk of problems with timely and correct accounting, which can lead to delays in payments, reminders, collection procedures and interruptions in deliveries. As a result, it becomes crucial to put processes in place to safeguard liquidity. The study includes an analysis of the company's current documentation workflow process and identification of problems associated with it. A plan is then proposed to implement a new automated system to eliminate waste. The methodology is based on an analysis of the company's internal data and available technological solutions. The main results of the study include the identification of existing problems in the documentation workflow process and a plan for implementing a new system. The findings indicate that improving process efficiency can help increase the company's cash flow. The study introduces a new perspective on records management in enterprises, especially in the context of eliminating waste and improving liquidity. The theoretical value of the work lies in identifying opportunities for effective records management in the context of supporting business processes. The introduction of an automated documentation workflow system can bring practical benefits, such as reducing payment delays, avoiding debt collection procedures and improving the overall efficiency of business operations.
