Opis:
The article presents issues concerning the imaginations of the family by children staying in the Crisis Intervention Centre. The basic problem the article deals with is the question how the respondents imagine their own family. Three essential components are emphasized in the question: (1) identification of the respondents with significant persons in the family, (2) emotional conflicts in family relationships, and (3) structure of the family with the special focus on the child’s position. The research material was acquired by means of the Family Drawing Test, as well as interview and observation connected with it. In this way eight children aged 7–12 years were questioned. The contents associated with the interpretation of the data are preceded by theoretical issues referring to definitional and descriptive issues involving: crisis, critical situation, dysfunctional family and Crisis Intervention Centre.

Der Beitrag widmet sich der Arbeit von Joanna Ławnikowska-Koper Literarisierung der Familie im österreichischen Roman der Gegenwart, die in mannigfaltigen Kontexten und unter Berücksichtigung einer kulturwissenschaftlichen Perspektive das literarisierte Bild der Familie als Topos der österreichischen Literatur der Gegenwart betrachtet. Die konzeptuell-narrativen Strategien bei der Literarisierung der Familie umfassen in dem besprochenen Buch vier semantische Bereiche: die Identitätsfrage, die Modernisierungsfrage, die Wertewandelfrage und die Alltäglichkeit. Dank dessen schlägt das Buch eine interdisziplinäre Betrachtung der literarischen Familie vor und versteht sich gleichzeitig – dank der Berücksichtigung des spezifischen österreichischen Kulturcodes – als ein aktuelles Pendant zur Literaturgeschichte Österreichs.
Artykuł dotyczy monografii Joanny Ławnikowskiej-Koper Literarisierung der Familie im österreichischen Roman der Gegenwart, w ktorej autorka w różnych kontekstach przedstawia z perspektywy kulturoznawczej literacki obraz rodziny jako topos współczesnej literatury austriackiej. Strategie koncepcyjne i narracyjne zastosowane w literaryzacji rodziny obejmują w omawianej książce cztery obszary semantyczne: kwestię tożsamości, kwestię modernizacji, kwestię zmieniających się wartości oraz codzienności. Książka stanowi dzięki temu interdyscyplinarne spojrzenie na rodzinę literacką, a uwzględniając specyficzny austriacki kodeks kulturowy jest ważnym aktualnym przyczynkiem do historii literatury Austrii.
The article concerns the monograph by Joanna Ławnikowska-Koper Literarisierung der Familie im österreichischen Roman der Gegenwart, which presents (from a cultural-research perspective) the literary image of families as the topos of contemporary Austrian literature. The conceptual and narrative strategies that dominate the family’s literarisation in the examined texts cover four semantic areas: the issue of identity, the issue of modernisation, axiological issues – the system of values and everyday life. The texts allow for an interdisciplinary reflection on the literary family, while the historical and literary background is important to consideration of the specific Austrian cultural code in the context of the distinctiveness of Austrian literature.

Omnipresent globalism greatly influences educational reality, which appears to be a place of many challenges, chances and threats. Nowadays, computers become “subject” quicker than ever, and a student interacts with it much more intensively than with a teacher. Globalization becomes, to some extent, a part of the life of the subject of education. At school, which is full of global trends, a student absorbs the preferred style of thinking and acting. Today’s teacher must be aware of the changes that shape the profile of a student in a school of the 21st century. The article describes negative elements in the profile of a global student. Depicting the profile of a 21st century’s student, the author also presents opportunities for the student’s development (global spaces of development, cultural exchanges, and enlarged chances for comprehensive development).

A technik of the Schematic Drawing of The Family according to Minuchin á1975ñ, and Braun- -Gałkowska á1986ñ was used to the group of 44 MS patients. The self image of the MS patients, their husbands or their wifes, the relationship between them, the importance of the rest of the family members, general quality of the schematic draw, and existence of tension was examined on the basis of that technik. The drawing exhibited a tensions and disappointment beetwen particulary family members nearly in 90% of the families. It was suggested, that the bad relatioship beetwen some family members of the MS patients may have a bad influence on the course of their disease.

This article presents the family image in Polish secondary school reading. There are no scientific studies about this field of school reality, so the conclusions come from own teacher’s practice and they are rather optimistic – the traditional family pattern is still strong and stable. The reason is that the vast majority of school reading are old (classic) books. Even the youth novels which the students read at school nowadays are the same as their parents read. We can hear that this is a defect of our school and students’ set books must become more modern. And here the problem begins, because in modern literature the family looks quite different – the parents are often divorced, the teens drink and take drugs, girls are pregnant. So the world in these books is similar to the reality that the youth live in. But the greatest problem is that there are no solutions nor indications for the youth in these books. They only show the world – like a mirror – with no pattern. Because showing directions and educating on the values isn’t important for the writers today. Teachers shouldn’t let these dangerous changes appear in Polish school. We can already see the signs of “new thinking” in the new interpretations of great literary works, for example in “Antigone” by Sophocles. In this modern reinterpretation the heroine becomes an advocate of alternative sexual models, like incest, and all her actions and words are interpreted according to the theories of gender.
O lekturach szkolnych pod kątem ich wychowawczego i formacyjnego oddziaływania pisze się mało, obserwacje zawarte w artykule pochodzą więc przede wszystkim z doświadczeń pedagogicznych autorki. Wnioski, do jakich te obserwacje prowadzą, są raczej optymistyczne – obraz rodziny w lekturach przewidzianych podstawą programową gimnazjum pokrywa się z tradycyjnym modelem i ugruntowuje podstawowe chrześcijańskie wartości. Wynika to z faktu, ze większość tych lektur to pozycje literatury dawniejszej, by nie rzec klasycznej. Nawet powieści młodzieżowe, proponowane uczniom przez program, są w większości podobne do tych, które czytali ich rodzice. Radykalni zwolennicy nowoczesności czynią z tego zarzut nienadążania za przemianami świata i oskarżają szkołę o wstecznictwo. W książkach, które ci krytycy widzieliby w spisach lektur, obraz rodziny jest już zdecydowanie inny – rodzice są często rozwiedzeni lub skłóceni, nastolatki piją i biorą narkotyki, nieobcy jest im seks, dziewczęta zachodzą w „szkolne” ciąże. Tak więc świat w tych książkach jest taki jak rzeczywistość, w jakiej powstają. Odbijają ją, owszem, i przez to są jak najbardziej „na czasie”, ale nie proponują żadnych rozwiązań i nie prezentują wzorców, bo wskazywanie kierunków, pouczanie i prowadzenie, czyli tak ważne dla dawnego wychowania (lektura była jego elementem) dydaktyzm i pareneza nie stanowią dziś celu dla twórców. Dopóki w gimnazjalnych lekturach są Sienkiewicz, Mickiewicz, Fredro, Tolkien, Kamiński czy Exupéry, młodzież pod kierunkiem świadomych nauczycieli może być skutecznie i mądrze chroniona przed destruktywnymi skutkami rozchwiania zasad i tradycji. Jeśli jednak i ten obszar zostanie zaanektowany przez reformatorów obyczajowości, wychowanie w duchu „nowego wspaniałego świata” stanie się o wiele łatwiejsze, zważywszy, iż rodziny w znacznej mierze już wcześniej ustąpiły pola. Artykuł analizuje stan wciąż jeszcze (choć nie wiadomo, na jak długo) aktualny, zachęcając jednocześnie do aktywnej troski o zachowanie tego status quo.

Zachowania agresywne są bardzo powszechnym zjawiskiem wśród młodzieży. Należy jednak pamiętać, że agresja nie musi być skierowana na inną osobę, może być kierowana do wewnątrz, czyli na siebie. Samouszkodzenia są to czynności służące zadawaniu sobie bólu bez chęci odebrania życia, choć mogą zagrażać życiu lub zdrowiu. Istnieje wiele rodzajów samouszkodzeń, w zasadzie jedyne, co ogranicza ludzi, to tylko ich własna wyobraźnia. Celem podjętych badań było określenie skali zjawiska i przyczyn występowania zachowań autoagresywnych u dorastającej młodzieży. Głównym celem było sprawdzenie nasilenia zachowań autoagresywnych -samouszkodzeń u młodzieży licealnej a także sprawdzenie jakości relacji interpersonalnych, wsparcia rodzinnego, koncepcji siebie wśród badanych uczniów pod względem ich wpływu na występowanie różnych typów zachowań agresywnych.
Aggressive behaviour comprises a very common phenomenon among young people. One should remember though that aggression as such does not have to be directed towards another person, but inside, towards oneself. Self-harm manifests itself in hurting oneself without non-suicidal intentions, but it may put one’s life or health in danger. There are many kinds of self-harm, in fact anything that limits people in doing so is their own imagination. The proposed research aims to verify the scope of self-harm and reasons behind self-destructive behaviour, i.e. self-harm done among young people. The major focus was to establish the intensity of aggressive behavior -self-harm among secondary school children as well as the quality of their interpersonal relations and their impact on the appearance of self-destruction (self-harm) and their own self-image.

Introduction. The article presents the issue of disability from the literary and legal perspective. The authors take into consideration the issue of disability as a social phenomenon, which is an inseparable element of every environment and culture, as well as the subject of compelling research. An important thread of the article is the transformation of the perception of disability perception throughout the centuries. Joe Abercrombie’s Shattered Sea trilogy serves as a concrete example of its presence. The sketch also revolves around the issue of changes in the perception and treatment of people with disabilities, as well as the introduction of regulations and social education which are to serve as means to provide people with disabilities with equal opportunities in order to function in the society. Aim. The aim of the article is to present the image of people with disabilities in prose addressed to young readers, taking into consideration the context of the disability studies as well as legal regulations. Materials and methods. The article is descriptive and analytical; it applies tools characteristic of the work of the philologist (including text explication, children’s studies, disability studies) as well as that of a lawyer (literature study, document analysis). Results. The analysis of the sources as well as observations and research show that the openness to the needs of people with disabilities and education in this area are progressively increasing, also through literature.
Wprowadzenie. A rtykuł przedstawia zagadnienie niepełnosprawności z perspektywy literacko-prawnej. A utorzy uwzględniają kwestię niepełnosprawności jako zjawiska społecznego, będącego nieodłącznym elementem każdego środowiska i kultury, a także przedmiotem istotnych badań. Ważnym wątkiem artykułu uczyniono przeobrażenie postrzegania niepełnosprawności na przestrzeni wieków. Za konkretny przykład jej uobecnienia posłużyła trylogia Morze Drzazg Joe A bercrombiego. W szkicu poruszona została ponadto kwestia zmian w postrzeganiu oraz traktowaniu osób z niepełnosprawnościami, jak również wprowadzania przepisów i edukacji społecznej w celu maksymalnego zapewnienia osobom z niepełnosprawnościami równych szans funkcjonowania w społeczeństwie. Cel. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie wizerunku osób z niepełnosprawnością w prozie adresowanej do młodego odbiorcy, z uwzględnieniem kontekstu studiów nad niepełnosprawnością oraz regulacji prawnych. Materiały i metody. Artykuł ma charakter opisowy i analityczny, wykorzystuje narzędzia charakterystyczne dla pracy filologa (m.in. eksplikacja tekstu, children’s studies, disability studies) i prawnika (studium literatury, analiza dokumentów). Wyniki. Z analizy źródeł oraz obserwacji i badań wynika, że sukcesywnie zwiększa się otwartość na potrzeby osób z niepełnosprawnością oraz edukacja w tym zakresie, również poprzez literaturę piękną.

Rodzina to ważny temat w literaturze dla dzieci i młodzieży. W utworach dla najmłodszych ukazywana jest inaczej niż w tekstach dla dzieci starszych i dla młodzieży – jako środowisko bezpieczne i dające akceptację. Specyfika obrazu rodziny w polskiej literaturze dla dzieci została uwidoczniona poprzez zestawienie z francuskimi książkami dla dzieci. Francuskie publikacje, mimo popularnonaukowego charakteru, zwykle operują fabułą. Różnorodność przeżywana w duchu wolności, równości i braterstwa jest w nich ukazana jako bogactwo i źródło radości. Polskie książki podkreślają wartość rodziny, pozbawione są jednak lekkości i żartobliwości obecnej w tekstach francuskich. Zróżnicowany obraz rodziny ukazywany w książkach dla dzieci o charakterze informacyjnym w niewielkim stopniu znajduje swoje odzwierciedlenie w tekstach literackich.
Family is an important topic in literature for children and youth. In works for the youngest readers, it is presented differently than in texts for older children and youth—as a safe environment that offers acceptance. The specificity of the image of the family in Polish literature for children has been illustrated in this article by comparing it with French books for children. French books usually operate with a plot and combine the informational character with artistic values. The diversity experienced in the spirit of freedom, equality and fraternity is shown in them as a richness and a source of joy. Polish books emphasize the value of the family, but they are devoid of the lightness and playfulness present in French texts. The diverse image of the family presented in books with informational content is to a small extent reflected in literary texts.

This study seeks to answer the following questions: what are the traits of a family system that are combined with the self-image that alcoholics' children have, or whether sex is a differentiating variable. The main hypothesis assumes that there is a relationship between the functioning of a family and DDA students. 32 students (13 women and 17 men) have been examined, all of them participants of psychotherapy by means of D. Beckmann's and H.E. Richter's Giessen Test (GT) and Z. Gasia's Family Profile (Pol. PR). The findings have shown the following: the more adaptive is a family system, the more mutual understanding and sense of functionality there is and the greater is the sense of social resonant in students. The more cohesive is the family, the more emotional openness and stability there are in men. The greater is family adaptation, the greater are the sense of social resonant and social opportunities in men. The greater is the mutual understanding and sense of family functionality, the greater is the sense of social resonant in men. The greater is the disorganisation of the family, the lesser is the sense of social resonant and social opportunities in men. In the case of women no correlation between the functioning of the family and self-image was found.

Artykuł koncentruje się na ukazaniu niestereotypowych ról rodzicielskich w prasie. Odbiegają one od utrwalonego w języku wyobrażenia matki i ojca. Obraz wyłoniony na podstawie analizy językowej tekstów publikowanych w „Wysokich Obcasach” rejestruje rodzinę i rodzicielstwo z perspektywy dorosłego dziecka lub matki (ojca), rzadziej także eksperta. Podstawę materiałową artykułu stanowią różnogatunkowe teksty prasowe dotyczące rodziny (listy do redakcji, artykuły, rozmowy, reportaże, felietony) zamieszczone w wzmiankowanym magazynie.
The article focuses on presenting the unstereotypical parenting roles in the press. These roles differentiate from the images of mother and father established in the language. The image emerging from the linguistic analysis of the texts published in “The High Heels” records the family and parenting from the perspective of an adult child or mother (father), less often an expert. The analysed material consists the following written forms – various genres of journalistic texts about the family (letters to the editorial office, articles, conversations, reportages, feuilletons) published in the mentioned magazine.

Family in the sermons and letters written by John Paul II is presented as a community of people that are gathered by love. It is also a sign of unselfish and common God’s love towards people. Love is the idea that is mostly used by the Pope in his texts, because he claims that love is a spiritual center of the family, love is the foundations of the origin and development of family. Love becomes also a source of peace and happiness for parents and their children. John Paul II highlights the need for closeness that is typical not only for the family members, but also for the members of the society, nation and the Church. In the linguistic image of the family that is presented in the texts of John Paul II the most often profiles may be indicated: family is a sanctuary of life, family is a community of life and love, family is a school of humanity, the school of love and social life, family is the domestic church, family is the way. Family as a community of love is the smallest institution that brings life, defends the life, creates an identity and transmits the worlds of values, language, culture and truths of faith to the following generations. Family decides about the future of the nation, country and the Church.

Despite social changes that started at the time of the system breakthrough in 1989 in Po-land, for a long time, family entrepreneurs have felt concerns related to the social percep-tion of private enterprise. In the light of the studies carried out by the Authors, after 2014, a fundamental change in the perception of entrepreneurship has occurred. In the opinion of the respondents, family businesses are associated with high quality, tradition and relia-bility. In turn, according to 40 percent of the participants of the survey, a family entrepre-neur is an honest person.
Mimo przemian społecznych rozpoczętych w momencie przełomu ustrojowego w 1989 r. w Polsce, przedsiębiorcy rodzinni jeszcze długo odczuwali obawy związane ze społeczną percepcją prywatnej przedsiębiorczości. W świetle przeprowadzonych przez autorów badań, po roku 2014 zaszła zasadnicza zmiana w postrzeganiu przedsiębiorczości rodzinnej. W ocenie respondentów, firmy rodzinne kojarzą się z wysoką jakością, tradycją i niezawodnością. Z kolei sam przedsiębiorca rodzinny, zdaniem 40 proc. uczestników badania, to osoba uczciwa.

Celem artykułu jest analiza wzajemnych związków pomiędzy obrazem rodziny pochodzenia a ujawnianymi stanami Ja osób badanych w ramach koncepcji analizy transakcyjnej. Przedstawiono zarys teorii Erica Berne’a opisujący analizę struktury stanów Ja: Rodzic Krytyczny, Rodzic Opiekuńczy, Dziecko Naturalne i Dziecko Przystosowane oraz Dorosły, wraz z zawartym w nim stanem Ethos i Pathos. Zaprezentowano przegląd literatury w zakresie związków rodziny pochodzenia z cechami jednostki podlegającymi jej oddziaływaniom w ujęciu systemowym typologii i relacji rodzinnych. Główne założenia badawcze dotyczące związków pomiędzy wybranymi parametrami rodziny a wynikającymi z koncepcji analizy transakcyjnej stanami Ja osób badanych potwierdziły się w zakresie związku pomiędzy spostrzeganym poziomem spójności i komunikacji w rodzinie oraz takimi stanami Ja, jak Pathos. Istotne statystycznie związki ze stanami Ja uzyskano dla wybranych właściwości matek i ojców. Ciekawym wynikiem jest obraz stanów Ja badanej młodzieży w postaci egogramu. Uzyskany profil wyników wykazuje wysoką zgodność z postulowanym w literaturze AT optymalnym dla funkcjonowania człowieka rozkładem stanów Ja. Przedstawione wnioski dotyczą badań porównawczych i praktycznych implikacji uzyskanych wyników dla procesu edukacji i wychowania oraz relacji nauczyciel–uczeń.
The aim of the paper is to analyse mutual relations between the perception of a biological family and ego states revealed by participants of a study conducted within the framework of Transactional Analysis. The analysis begins with the outline of Eric Berne’s concept regarding the structure of ego states: the Critical Parent, the Nurturing Parent, the Natural Child, the Adapted Child, the Adult, and Ethos and Pathos states. Next the paper reviews subject literature focused on the relations between a biological family and the features of a family member exposed to its influence from the perspective of family system typology and family relations. The main research assumptions regarding relations between selected parameters of a family and ego states described by TA were confirmed in the area of relations between the perceived level of consistency and communication in the family and the Pathos ego state. Statistically significant relations between ego states were obtained for selected features of mothers and fathers. The illustration of ego states of adolescents taking part in the study in the form of an egogram was an interesting outcome of the study. The results to a great extent confirm the distribution of ego states optimal for the functioning of an individual proposed in the TA literature. Conclusions suggest further comparative studies and practical implications of the results obtained for the educational process and teacher-student relations.
