    Christian Morgenstern ist in die Literaturgeschichte vor allem als Verfasser der humoristisch-grotesken „Galgenlieder“ eingegangen. Doch sein literarisches Schaffen umfasst auch melancholische Gedankenpoesie, zarte Naturgedichte, grüblerisch-mystische Lyrik sowie amüsante und rhythmische Kinderreime, die dem Lesepublikum kaum bekannt sind. Daher konzentriert sich der Beitrag darauf, die unterschiedlichen Formen und Bereiche seines Schaffens kurz zu umreißen, um das facettenreiche Werk des leider allmählich in Vergessenheit geratenden Dichters ganzheitlich zu erfassen. Der Beitrag bezieht sich auch kurz auf die Rezeption von Morgensterns Werken.
    Christian Morgenstern zasłynął w literaturze niemieckojęzycznej przede wszystkim jako autor humorystyczno-groteskowych ‘Pieśni szubienicznych’. Jednakże jego twórczość literacka obejmuje także poezję melancholijno-refleksyjną, subtelne wiersze o przyrodzie, mistyczną lirykę, czy też zabawne i rytmiczne wierszyki dla dzieci, które są niemal nieznane szerszemu gronu czytelników. Dlatego też artykuł omawia te różne formy twórczości Morgensterna, która niestety powoli popada w zapomnienie, aby uwypuklić jej wielobarwną różnorodność, równocześnie wskazuje w zarysie na recepcję jego utworów.
    Christian Morgenstern figures in literary history primarily as the author of the humorous-grotesque “Gallows Songs”. But his literary work includes melancholy poetry, subtle nature poems, mystical lyrics and amusing and rhythmic nursery rhymes, which are almost unknown to the reading public. This article therefore focusses on outlining briefly the differing forms and areas of Morgenstern’s writings in order to provide an overview of the rich diversity of a work which, unfortunately, is gradually becoming forgotten. The article also contains a short account of the reception of Morgenstern’s work.

    Marek Hendrykowski’s essay presents the importance of Janusz Morgenstern’s early short film Radishes made after Stalin’s death, in 1954 as a student work produced by Film School in Łódź. The main character, old worker Gruliński loses his clear hopes and human illusions. The pesimistic conclusion is closed further by the simultaneous description of the hero’s social image within a discourse of origins and the sacred which evacuates analysis of class conflict and sociological approach in the narrative of an “ordinary good man” brutally disturbed in his desires and works by the irruption and power of an omnipotent destructive stalinist “red tape” bureaucracy. The poetics of Radishes is deeply influenced by the style of an Italian neorealism, first of all by its famous masterpiece, Vittorio De Sica’s Umberto D. (1952).

    In this article, a new reciprocal Rayleigh extension called the Xgamma reciprocal Rayleigh model is defined and studied. The relevant statistical properties are derived, and the useful results related to the convexity and concavity are addressed. We discussed the estimation of the parameters using different estimation methods such as the maximum likelihood estimation method, the ordinary least squares estimation method, the weighted least squares estimation method, the Cramer-Von-Mises estimation method, and the bootstrapping method. A simulation study was conducted to assess the performances of the proposed estimation methods are investigated through a simulation study. Many bivariate and multivariate type model have also been derived based on Farlie-Gumbel-Morgenstern copula, the Clayton copula, Renyi's entropy copula and the Ali-Mikhail-Haq copula. A modified Nikulin-Rao-Robson test for right-censored validation is applied to a censored real data set.

    Opis:
    Estymując rozkłady poszczególnych charakterystyk materiału uziarnionego, zazwyczaj traktuje się je osobno. Zastosowana w artykule technika Morgensterna umożliwia szukanie rozkładu wielowymiarowego, biorąc pod uwagę przynajmniej dwie cechy równocześnie. Przeprowadzono estymację rozkładu wielkości ziaren i ich gęstości na przykładzie węgla z KWK "Piast". W celu estymacji tzw. rozkładów brzegowych zastosowano nieparametryczne metody statystyczne - jądrową metodę Gaussa oraz ortogonalnego szeregu Fouriera. Wyniki oceniono statystycznie, co potwierdziło prawidłowość stosowanej metody.
    Estimations of individual grained materials characteristics distribution functions is usually done separately. The method of Morgenstern, applied in the paper allows searching for multidimensional distribution function, taking into consideration at least two features simultaneously. The estimation of particles size and their density was performed on the basis of coal from KWK "Piast". In the purpose of so-called marginal distribution functions estimation the non-parametric statistical methods were applied - Gauss kernel method and orthogonal Fourier series method. The results were statistically evaluated what confirmed the adequacy of the method.
