    Sedimentological, stratigraphical and geophysical studies across a new Triassic-Jurassic transition section in the Holy Cross Mts., Poland have revealed a large sedimentary hiatus embracing the entire latest Triassic–Early Jurassic – earliest Middle Jurassic time interval and yielded new data on the Triassic fluvial system and on Middle Jurassic shallow marine sedimentation. The presence of organic-walled dinoflagellate cysts allowed a precise age assignment of the black clay facies. Regional discussions and comparisons may be made with other areas with a similar depositional environment in Poland. For the first time a counterpart of the “Kościeliskie Beds” lithostratigraphic unit is proposed to exist in the Holy Cross Mts. area.

    Artykuł przedstawia analizę rozwiązań edukacyjnych w odniesieniu do dzieci z chorobami przewlekłymi, obowiązujących w ramach aktualnego systemu oświaty w Polsce. Rozważania zostały ograniczone do edukacji obowiązkowej, która dotyczy: obowiązkowego rocznego przygotowania przedszkolnego; obowiązku szkolnego i obowiązku nauki [Ustawa z dnia 14 grudnia 2016 r. – Prawo oświatowe]. Omówiono rozwiązania umożliwiające kontynuowanie nauki, wskazując także na wybrane zagadnienia wychowawcze. Wskazano na ważność i możliwości pomocy psychologiczno-pedagogicznej wobec dzieci z chorobami przewlekłymi i dostosowanie egzaminu ósmoklasisty.
    This paper analyzes educational solutions concerning chronically ill children set forth in the current education system in Poland. The discussion is limited to compulsory education that embraces: one-year compulsory preschool preparation; full-time compulsory education (obligation to attend school) and part-time compulsory education (obligation to participate in education or training) [Act of 14 December 2016, the Law on School Education]. Solutions that enable children to continue education are discussed, additionally specifying selected pedagogical issues. Possibilities of providing chronically ill children with psychological and pedagogical assistance are indicated as well as of adapting the eight-grader exam for such children.

    W artykule przedstawiono wybrane elementy składające się na relację między profesjonalistami (lekarzami) a dzieckiem chorym i jego rodzicami. Założenie towarzyszące rozważaniom jest następujące: wszystkie podejmowane oddziaływania w sytuacji choroby dziecka powinny odbywać się przy udziale dwóch podmiotów – dziecka i rodziców, bowiem pominięcie jednego z nich okazuje się zakłócać realizację przyjętych celów i zadań. Bez wątpienia kluczowa w oddziaływaniach ze specjalistami jest zrozumiała trójstronna komunikacja, ponieważ od prawidłowej współpracy wszystkich podmiotów (a w przypadku małego dziecka – rodziców) zależy zarówno przebieg, jak i końcowy wynik leczenia.
    This paper aims at presenting selected elements that constitute the relationship between professionals (physicians) and an ill child as well as the child’s parents. The discussion is based on the following assumption: All actions undertaken when a child is ill should be performed with two subjects participating in them: the child and the child’s parents, because the exclusion of one of them disturbs the fulfillment of specific goals and tasks. In interactions with specialists, intelligible tripartite communication is undoubtedly of key importance since the course and final outcome of treatment depend on appropriate cooperation between all subjects involved (and in the case of a small child, this includes parents).

    This paper aims at presenting the results of research carried out during the “Sun and Adventure” project dedicated for children – cancer survivors. The research focused on sociotherapeutic and psychosocial benefits for the Project’s participants. The methods involved questionnaire technique: a slightly modified Polish adaptation of QOLCE (Health-Related Quality of Life in Childhood Epilepsy) and the Polish adaptation of Spielberger’s state-trait anxiety questionnaire in the version dedicated to children STAI – C. The results were complemented by interviews carried out with the participants during the camp organized within the Project framework. Participation in the Project influenced the quality of life of the cancer survivors, although to a lesser extent than it might have been expected. The obtained results are relatively minor due to the high initial quality of life level of the participants. Nevertheless, participation in this program may contribute to positive changes in the functioning of cancer survivors. In the view of future editions of the Project, it is necessary to implement more precise inclusion criteria to maximize the effects of potential positive changes. It appears that such criteria as good health condition and desire to participate in the Project are insufficient to optimally select the participants. Inviting children to participate in the “Sun and Adventure” Project (and similar initiatives aiming at improving quality of life) should be also based on evaluation of the family environment and the financial situation of the participant, as well as the psychological consequences of cancer treatment (for example, anxiety, depression, difficulties with group adaptation). Implications for cancer survivors are following: organized and structured camps involving physical activity and psychological assistance are profitable for young cancer survivors whose social development has been affected by their illness and treatment.

    In this work the characteristic radiation, emitted during interaction of medium energy (200 keV) ambient heavy ions (Ar) with $Fe_{4}Co_{66}Si_{12}B_{14}Nb_{1}Mo_{2}Cu_{1}$ (VV-6025X) amorphous alloy, was measured in grazing incident-exit angle geometry and in time sequence, in order to determine dynamics of formation of subsurface region, damaged through implantation, sputtering and interface mixing. It was shown that structure and composition of surface is unstable against heavy ions irradiation due to preferential sputtering and implantation of ions, and recoils, and that the dynamics of such modification can be monitored in-situ with particle induced X-ray emission (PIXE) method.

    Artykuł w pierwszej części zawiera teoretyczne wprowadzenie do zagadnienia inkluzji i pracy nauczycieli w szkołach przyszpitalnych. Druga część prezentuje wyniki badań otrzymane w efekcie badań jakościowych osadzonych w paradygmacie interpretatywnym. Wybór wskazanego paradygmatu powiązany był z potrzebą uzyskania „głębszego” rozumienia zjawiska inkluzji. Cel badań dotyczył poznania i opisania pracy nauczycieli szkół przyszpitalnych przez pryzmat inkluzji ucznia ze specjalnymi potrzebami edukacyjnymi. Uzyskane dane i jakościowa ich analiza pozwoliły wyłonić sześć wspólnych obszarów procesu inkluzji: perspektywiczny, ciągłości, niepewności, teraźniejszości, teoretyzacji zadań i uprzedmiotowienia. Każdy z nich opisuje działania podejmowane przez nauczycieli szkól przyszpitalnych wobec ucznia przebywającego w szkole przyszpitalnej. Badania wskazują, iż nauczyciele koncentrują się przede wszystkim na realizacji zadań związanych z edukacyjna funkcją szkoły.
    The paper starts with a theoretical introduction into the issue of inclusion and work of teachers in hospital schools. Its second part presents research results collected in the qualitative study set in the interpretative paradigm. The choice of the paradigm is related to the need to gain a “deeper” insight into the phenomenon of inclusion. The aim of the study was to get to know and describe work of teachers of hospital schools from the perspective of inclusion of a student with special educational needs. The obtained data and its qualitative analysis led to specifying six common areas of the inclusion process: the perspective, consistency, insecurity, presence, sentence theorizing and objectification. Each of them describes actions taken by the teachers, who work in the hospital school, towards pupils, who study at the same school. The investigations show, that teachers concentrate mostly on the completion of tasks, that are associated with the educational function of the school.
