    Opis:
    Situations of conflict in the educational environment appear for a number of different reasons, and their transmissions in the media cause their escalation, as they present abrasive people as modern heroes. Up till now there have been attempts to explain conflicts by means of the existing concepts that belong to the sphere of dynamics of the group. However, it has to be remembered that a conflict is a clash caused by different attitudes, aims, or ways of acting. Anywhere where people show any aspirations conflicts are unavoidable. Controversies are not aroused by a man who does not do anything, or who has suppressed all his creative activities. From this perspective it can clearly be seen that conflicts may also be creative. Avoiding this type of conflicts systematically may lead to making the group barren, to a standstill and to a groove that has a destructive effect. When one has a difficult choice between repressions and democracy, God himself arouses hope, when he announces: “I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh” (Ezek 36, 26-28). In this way he foretells the possibility of reaching true harmony in the life of every human community. Solving situations of conflict in a catechetical group may happen through the acceptance of the seven factors that are the conditions for the prevalence of good spirit in the group. In this way the conflicted group may be shown good perspectives of its development.

    A great deal of aid in defining the role of an adult in a pluralist society may come nowadays from the field of religious education comprised within the catechesis of adults. In its assumptions it emphasizes the fact that the ultimate aim of a man’s activity is not only the physical and material promotion of the person, but giving the Christian testimony as well. It also reminds about the necessity to be engaged in educational activities aiming at creating the attitudes of a devoted service to another man in an ecclesiastical community. The catechesis of adults is a challenge and a binding index in education of adults, which first of all touches the conscience. Faithfulness to it is a test of humanity and its internal truth. At the same time it is an attempt to give a meaning to religious education of adults.

    Przed stu laty portugalska Fatima zyskała niezwykły rozgłos dzięki objawieniom maryjnym. Wydarzenia te przełamały materialistyczną wizję rzeczywistości i kierowały w stronę rzeczywistości transcendentnej. Wielkie znaczenie w dynamice tego fenomenu posiadał kontekst historyczny, ponieważ były to trudne czasy, przepełnione terrorem i wojnami oraz głęboką negacją Boga. Z fatimskich objawień wyłoniło się bogactwo nowych treści, symboli, gestów i modlitw, które posiadały wielkie znaczenie katechetyczne. Kościół katolicki skupił się na odczytywaniu ukrytego sensu tych zdarzeń. Wartością maryjnych orędzi w Fatimie była ich całkowita zgodność z przekazem biblijnym, zaakcentowanie potrzeby nawrócenia i pokuty, podjęcia krucjaty modlitewnej za grzeszników oraz w intencji Ojca Świętego przez modlitwę różańcową. W Fatimie została wyeksponowana idea Bożego dziecięctwa, czyli podobieństwa człowieka do Stwórcy. Poprzez dzieci związane z objawieniami została przypomniana idea Opatrzności Bożej, doceniona rola Kościoła katolickiego oraz podkreślona centralna rola Jezusa Chrystusa w dziele zbawienia. Ponadto zostały dowartościowane pozawerbalne formy ewangelizacyjne, które posiadają wielką siłę oddziaływania na zlaicyzowanych chrześcijan początku XXI wieku. Fenomen objawień fatimskich polega na tym, że mimo upływu lat, nie tracą one na aktualności i posiadają znaczny potencjał katechetyczny do wykorzystania w obecnym czasie.
    The Marian apparitions initiated in 1917 in Fatima, quickly gained worldwide publicity due to their content and form. Because they began in the tragic period for the history of humanity, entangled in armed conflicts and atheistic ideologies, their message of hope increased interest in all spheres of social life. The appeal for conversion and return to the Gospel principles in individual and social life was declared to the world through children who confirmed the phenomenon of Fatima apparitions by their mortified life. The spiritual content of the message has become an important element in the catechetical ministry of raising children, youth and adults. Although what happened at Fatima does not belong to the category of a scientific discourse based solely on empirical methods, it must be reminded in the education of the young generation and recalled in discussions about the future of man and the world.

    This year we are celebrating the fortieth anniversary of the publication of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The document, awaited many years by believers, contained a popularly outlined interpretation of the most important principles of faith, morals, worship and prayer. The purpose of this article is to analyse the significance of this document for the catechetical activities of the Catholic Church in Poland over the past four decades since its publication. The previous Roman Catechism served the Church for more than 400 years. A new document of such stature was to lead to a radical revision of the aims of catechesis, the prominence of its most important contents and the improvement of its methodological instrumentarium. The article will answer the following questions: “Has there really been a religious revival in the stages of adapting the Catechism of the Catholic Church to the realities of the local community of the Polish Church;” “Has it become the basis for a deeper reflection on the current state of catechesis?” It will also be important to answer the question: “Has there been a real popularisation of this document in Polish ecclesial, cultural and educational spaces?”

    Współczesne przemiany dotykają także obszaru antropologii i religijności. Często wynika to z faktu, że społeczeństwo nie chce zaakceptować istnienia Boga oraz zasad, które On ustanowił. Jednak człowiek potrzebuje stabilizacji i punktu orientacyjnego, szczególnie w obszarze religijnym. Taką przestrzenią, choć okazjonalnie oprotestowaną przez zwolenników laickiego stylu życia, pozostaje wciąż obszar mariologii i związana z nią pedagogizacja maryjna. Jest to swoisty fenomen, jak prosty wzór życia zwyczajnej kobiety, nakierowany na służbę Bogu oraz bliźnim, opiera się nieustannie próbie czasu i atakom ideowych przeciwników. Maryjny wzór osobowy pokazuje, jak ocalić niezmienną zależność, jaka istnieje pomiędzy stworzeniem a Stwórcą, z zachowaniem pełnej wolności człowieka. Wdrożenie do nauczania katechetycznego zasady obserwowania Maryi, aby znaleźć w Niej inspirację w realizacji chrześcijańskiego powołania, jest dla wielu katechetyków szansą przeciwstawienia się współczesnym ideologiom, które przyjmują niepełny obraz człowieka i przez to głoszą fałszywe antropologie. W celu ratowania polskiej tożsamości religijnej preferowana jest w katechezie tzw. polska droga maryjna. W jej realizacji chodzi o przygotowanie katechizowanych do rozumienia tytułów maryjnych, które odsłaniają maryjny fenomen pięknego życia. Katecheza maryjna przez pośrednictwo między tym, co w wierze instytucjonalne a tym, co spontaniczne, stanowi punkt odniesienia dla zwyczajnego życia. Strategia pedagogizacji maryjnej zakłada pełną prawdę o człowieku, ponieważ akcentuje nie tylko jego potrzeby cielesne i materialne, ale także format duchowy, osobowy, transcendentny oraz religijny, eksponuje również zasadę, że sprawa grzechu jest integralną częścią prawdy o człowieku. Religijna pedagogizacja musi być ściśle związana ze słuchaniem współczesnego katechizowanego oraz powinna korzystać z nowych języków i metod komunikacji, co jest współcześnie traktowane jako zwycięska strategia. W nauczaniu katechetycznym Maryja musi być przedstawiona jako ta, która wskazuje na Jezusa, zachęca do szukania Go oraz do zjednoczenia się z Nim. Tak powinny być formułowane perspektywy katechezy maryjnej w warunkach polskich.
    All Polish catechisms and textbooks for teaching religion after the Council's renewal contain numerous Marian references. We are also a nation in which devotion to Mary is an obvious phenomenon with a significant degree of intensity. There is also a justified theory that Poles are maintaining a high level of religion in European conditions thanks to Marian pedagogy. This, however, obliges us to make a deeper reflection. The current position of the Church's Teaching Office is the verification point for the Polish model of Marian catechesis. This publication is about answering the question whether education through catechesis on being a disciple of Christ and a genuinely committed member of the Church can make use of the principle functioning in catechesis: look at Mary, the Mother of Jesus, because in her you will find help in living your Christian vocation. In a time when false anthropologies are dominating, like denying the existence of God and the need for religion, and fundamental rules of sociallife and moral principles are being questioned, reference to a stable point in the Christian life seems to be really necessary. The pattern of combining a dignified life with fidelity to the Gospel’s principles according to the Marian Way can still be a strong foundation of catechetical communication.

    The significance of family Marian catechesis in Poland has been increased by a series of historical events involving Marian revelations and by the pastoral strategy of the Catholic Church. The Marian catechesis was not only included in the plans of religion teaching, textbooks and catechisms, but was also present in the Marian traditions of Polish families. Before children started school or parish catechesis which dealt with the subject of Virgin Mary, they already had extensive knowledge of Her and they could pray to Her. Living in families, they could also easily understand all bonds that mother and son share. In the case of Virgin Mary, they easily acquired the truth that Her Son is God and that She, like every mother, does not leave anyone in need. The Marian catechesis, invariably passed to the catechisized in the family environment, also today must constitute guidance for Poles in answering the question: “what to believe in, how to act and what means of grace to use in order to achieve salvation?” In the layer of content, there must be a clear reference to the mysteries of Christ connected with the life of Blessed Virgin Mary. Religious elements, historical traditions and Marian educational ideas should further converge into one voice praising Mary, Mother of God-Man.

    Analiza poziomu recepcji Katechizmu Kościoła Katolickiego w ostatnim czterdziestoleciu w warunkach polskich wykazała bogactwo zdarzeń związanych z tą tematyką. Poszczególne wskazania prezentowanego dokumentu różniły się między sobą częstotliwością występowania, sposobami cytowania i rangą miejsc ich prezentacji. Przywoływane fragmenty Katechizmu certyfikowały zarówno kwestie zasadnicze, jak również sprawy mniej ważne dla wiary i moralności chrześcijan. Najczęściej dokument był przywoływany w celu obrony kwestii moralnych w nauczaniu Kościoła oraz w promowaniu zagadnienia hierarchizacji prawd wiary katolickiej. Dla nauczania katechetycznego w minionym czterdziestoleciu wartość tego dokumentu miała charakter normatywny. Głębsze powiązanie katechezy z treściami przekazanymi przez Katechizm Kościoła Katolickiego w praktyce oznaczało, że dokumenty katechetyczne, takie jak dyrektoria, podstawy programowe i programy nauczania, liczne serie podręczników do nauczania religii oraz sama katecheza, były przeniknięte treścią i duchem tego dokumentu. W praktyce wyraziło się to w eksponowaniu zasady chrystocentryzmu, „wierności Bogu i człowiekowi”, jak również w strategii poszukiwania nowych sposobów prezentacji orędzia ewangelicznego w czasach rewolucji informatycznej. Przesłanie Katechizmu Kościoła Katolickiego było w minionych czterech dekadach w katechezie polskiej nieustannie głoszone, słuchane, celebrowane, przeżywane i komentowane.

    The article undertakes the issue of the reception of a normative document such as the Catechism of the Catholic Church in the sphere of Polish catechesis during the last twenty five years since its publication. Therefore, it will be shown how this proven and exceptional tool of ecclesial communication became a catechetical instrument of the Church in the work of evangelisation. The article will include the facts on the basis of which the Catechism revived the catechesis of children, adolescents and adults, inspired academia to conduct new scientific research and awakened the consciousness of the Church in its mission in the world, becoming a tool of religious education. The attempt will also be made to demonstrate that the Catechism has really been popularised, not only promulgated. The article is concluded with postulates for even deeper use of the Catechism in the religious education of a catechetical community in the future.
    W artykule zostało podjęte zagadnienie recepcji typicznego dokumentu, jakim jest Katechizm Kościoła Katolickiego w polskiej przestrzeni katechetycznej w okresie ćwierćwiecza od jego opublikowania. Dlatego zostało ukazane, jak to sprawdzone i wyjątkowe narzędzie komunikacji eklezjalnej stawało się instrumentem katechetycznym Kościoła w dziele ewangelizacji. Zostały także zaprezentowane fakty, na podstawie których Katechizm ożywił katechezę dzieci, młodzieży i dorosłych, zainspirował środowiska akademickie do nowych poszukiwań naukowych oraz rozbudził świadomość Kościoła w jego posłannictwo w świecie, stając się narzędziem edukacji religijnej. Została także podjęta próba wykazania, że doszło do jego faktycznej popularyzacji, a nie tylko promulgacji. Artykuł kończą postulaty dotyczące jeszcze głębszego wykorzystania Katechizmu w edukacji religijnej wspólnoty katechetycznej w przyszłości.

    Historia prowadzenia katechizowanych do Chrystusa poprzez katechezę o Maryi, Matce Bożej ma na ziemiach polskich długą tradycję. Prorocze słowa Maryi, iż błogosławić Ją będą wszystkie pokolenia, zaczęły spełniać się w trudnych czasach katechizacji w powojennej Polsce. Z analizy dostępnych programów nauczania religii oraz podręczników dla ucznia i poradników metodycznych wynika, że element maryjny był mocno wyeksponowany w polskiej katechezie. Katecheza maryjna w nauczaniu w szkole była strategią wynikająca z przyjętych przez Kościół założeń teologicznych i duszpasterskich oraz z dobrego planowania. W pomocach katechetycznych znalazły się jednostki, które w całości dotyczyły Maryi, lub tematyka maryjna była umieszczana w pewnych punktach katechezy, pojawiając się w formach okazjonalnych, z racji przypadających świąt, okresów liturgicznych, miesięcy maryjnych. Najważniejsze elementy kształtujące polską katechezę maryjną dotyczyły z jednej strony duchowego przeżywania chrześcijaństwa nakierowanego chrystocentrycznie i eklezjalnie, a z drugiej strony krzewienia wartości narodowych i społecznych. Można także potwierdzić, że droga maryjna w nauczaniu katechetycznym stanowiła w warunkach polskich ważny moment, dlatego powinna być kontynuowana.
    The history of leading the catechised to Christ through catechesis on Mary, the Mother of God, has a long tradition on the Polish lands. The prophetic words of Mary that she would be blessed by all generations began to fulfil in the difficult times of catechisation in the post-war Poland. The analysis of available religious education curricula as well as student textbooks and methodological guides shows that the Marian element was heavily exposed in the Polish catechesis. The Marian catechesis in teaching at school was the strategy stemming from the theological and pastoral assumptions adopted by the Church and the good planning. The catechetical aids included the units all of which related to Mary or the Marian themes were placed in certain points of the catechesis, or appeared in occasional forms because of falling holidays, liturgical seasons or Marian months. The most important elements shaping the Polish Marian catechesis concerned on the one hand the spiritual experience of Christocentric- and ecclesial-oriented Christianity, and on the other one the promotion of national and social values. It is also possible to confirm that the Marian path in catechetical instruction was a privileged moment under the Polish onditions and therefore should be continued.
