- This article deals with the paremiological and phraseological units constructed on the basis of antiphrase. Taking into account the fact that the antiphrastic meanings implied by them are based on the choice of specific prototype, the aim of the research is to present the complexes of categories that define the rules of notions and their prototypes in Russian paroemia and phraseology. In more general meaning, the analyses presented in this article relates to the theme of prototype in the linguistic picture of the world.
