PSHM - Opis:
- Providing hydrological and meteorological protection is the most important task of the state hydrological service performed by the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management – National Research Institute (IMGW-PIB). The IMGW-PIB Monitor, as a platform of presenting data and products of the State Hydrological and Meteorological Service (PSHM) connected with hydrological and meteorological protection, has been recently a leading IT solution for crisis management bodies as well as water basins’ and water routs’ managers. The daily presentation includes: •standard data of hydrological measurements such as water level and flow in rivers, meteorological data such as air temperature and humidity, wind speed and direction or the amount of precipitation; •forecast and warnings of basic hydrological and meteorological elements. The current version of the IMGW-PIB Monitor on pogodynka.pl website allows each citizen a real-time access to information on potential threats. The article aims at presenting IT information platform which the IMGW-PIB Monitor is for the needs of crisis management institutions and the managers of reservoirs and energy.
