Opis:: There is presented the IS&RDSS application to the operation and reliability of an exemplary complex technical system prediction. There are performed, the unconditional mean sojourn times and the limit transient probabilities of the exemplary system operation process at the particular operation states evaluations. The evaluations of the exemplary system unconditional multistate reliability function, the expected values and the standard deviations of its unconditional lifetimes in the reliability state subsets and the mean values of its lifetimes in the particular reliability states are performed as well. Moreover, in the case when the system is repairable, its renewal and availability characteristics are estimated.

Opis:: There is presented the IS&RDSS application to the reliability of the improved exemplary complex technical system prediction. There are considered three ways of the exemplary system reliability improvement, a hot single reservation of its components, a cold single reservation of its components and replacing its components by the improved components with reduced intensities of departure from the reliability state subsets. The evaluations of this ways improved exemplary system unconditional multistate reliability function, the expected values and the standard deviations of its unconditional lifetimes in the reliability state subsets and the mean values of its lifetimes in the particular reliability states are performed. Moreover, in the case when the improved system is repairable, its renewal and availability characteristics are estimated.

Opis:: The joint model of the system operation process and the system multi-state reliability is applied to the reliability and risk evaluation of the container gantry crane. The container gantry crane is described and its operation process unknown parameters are identified on the basis of real statistical data. Opis:: The reliability analysis of a multistate complex system subjected to varying in time its operation process is performed. Opis:: Modelling and prediction of the operation and reliability of technical multistate ageing systems related to their operation processes called complex systems are briefly presented and applied to prediction of the operation processes and reliability characteristics of an exemplary complex non-homogeneous system composed of a series-parallel and a series-“m out of l” subsystems linked in series, changing its reliability structure and its components reliability parameters at variable operation conditions. Further, the linear programming is proposed to the operation and reliability optimization of complex technical systems operating at variable operation conditions. The method consists in determining the optimal values of limit transient probabilities at the system operation states that maximize the system lifetimes in the reliability state subsets. The proposed method is practically applied to the operation and reliability optimization of the considered exemplary complex system.

Opis:: A semi-Markov process is applied to construct the multistate model of the system operation process and its main characteristics are determined. Opis:: W artykule zaprezentowany jest program komputerowy pozwalający na ocenę i predykcję charakterystyk niezawodności i ryzyka złożonych systemów technicznych wraz z przykładem jego zastosowania. Algorytmy programu przygotowane zostały w oparciu o modele złożonych systemów technicznych, łączących modele ich niezawodności z modelami ich procesów eksploatacji, przy uwzględnieniu zmiennych w różnych stanach eksploatacyjnych ich struktur niezawodnościowych. Przy założeniu, że elementy systemów mają wykładnicze funkcje niezawodności, program wyznacza ich warunkowe funkcje niezawodności w poszczególnych stanach eksploatacyjnych systemów, bezwarunkowe funkcje niezawodności wraz z wykresami, wartości średnie oraz odchylenia standardowe bezwarunkowych czasów przebywania systemów w podzbiorach stanów niezawodnościowych oraz w poszczególnych stanach niezawodnościowych rozważanych systemów. Program wykreśla także funkcję ryzyka oraz wyznacza moment do przekroczenia dopuszczalnego poziomu funkcji ryzyka systemów.
The presented computer program for the evaluation and prediction of complex, technical system reliability and risk is based on methods and algorithms included in [1]. The computer program allows automatic determination of reliability and risk characteristics for systems considered in the paper under the assumption that the considered systems are exponential. The computer program can be applied for prediction and optimisation operation, reliability and risk of complex transportation systems and processes, particularly for port, shipyard and maritime transportation systems.

Opis:: The combination of the results on the reliability of complex multi-state systems related to their operation processes and the results concerning the limit reliability functions of the multistate systems is proposed, to obtain the results on the asymptotic approach to the evaluation of the large complex multi-state systems reliability at the variable operation conditions. The asymptotic approach to the large complex system reliability evaluation and the large complex system limit reliability function are defined. Limit reliability functions of selected large complex systems composed of components having Weibull reliability functions are fixed. The way of using this results is illustrated by their application to the evaluation of reliability characteristics of the large complex port grain transportation subsystem composed of three large multistate non-homogeneous series systems and changing its reliability structure and its components reliability parameters at variable operation conditions.
