L’annalisi de i testi che riguardano “il vedere di Dio” si concentra sui cinque testi dalla Prima Lettera di san Giovanni (3,1.2.6; 4,12.20) ed un testo dalla Terza Leitera di san Giovanni (3 J 11 ). L’esegesi di questi testi ci dia una idea globale sulla natura e del ruolo del “vedere di Dio” nelle Lettere di san Giovanni. Generalmente si puo dire, che “il vedere” riguarda sia “il vedere di Dio o del Cristo glorificato” dalla prospettiva storica (l J 3,1.2.6; 4,12.20; 3 J 11), sia dalla prospettiva escatologica (l J 3,2). Nel primo caso si puo anche distinguere “il vedere” nel senso naturale (l J 4, 12.20), che infatti esclude la possibilita di vedere di Dio e nel senso metaforico (l J 3, 1.6; 3 J 11 ), che significa l’esperienza di un’uomo gia in comunione con Dio nella fede e amore, ma ancora limitato nella sua condizione storica. Nel secondo caso (l J 3,2) si dice “del vedere” perfetto, pieno e definitivo nella realta escatologica. Questo vedere nel linguaggio biblico significa la piena comunione con Dio in eternita.

Die Studie zur Theologie des Glaubens von dem Jlinger, den Jesus liebte, ermoglich den einmaligen Weg des Jlingers zu entdecken, in dem das Christentum seit der Antike eine ideale Jlingergestalt sah. Es ist ein Glaubensweg, der im vierten Evangelium in den aufeinander folgenden Szenen dargestellt wird, um - natlirlich bis zu einem gewissen Grad - nicht nur mit seinem geistlichen Profil des Jlingers, sondern auch mit seiner Glaubensantwort vertraut zu machen, die im Johannes-Evangelium als eine Antwort auf die Gottesoffenbarung in der Person Jesu Christi verstanden wird. Diese Antwort spiegelt die innere Einstellung des Jlingers, den die Liebe Gottes (die Gnade) be rlihrt und sie kommt in erster Linie in seiner Haltung zum Ausdruck, eher als in den Worten. Das Gesamtbild der analysierten Texte zeichnet das Bild des Jlingers, den sein Herz mit seinem Meister vereint und dessen Antwort unverkennbar mit seinem ganzen Leben gegeben wird: in der Schweigsamkeit und in sparsamen Satzen, die jedoch den Kern der Dinge treffen. Die durchgeflihrte Analyse zu den acht Perikopen, in denen der Jlinger die wichtigste Rolle spielt, ermoglicht darin faszinierende Details zu sehen. Sein Glaubensweg, verstanden nicht nur in Bezug auf Jesus, sondern auch auf Maria, Petrus, Andreas und die anderen Jlinger, ist ein Prozess, in dem er zunehmend erkennt, wer Jesus ist. Es ist seine bewundernswerte Verhaltensweise in immer neuen Situationen: wegen Empfindlichkeit, Reaktion, Mut, Konsequenz und vor allem wegen seiner direkt ungenannten, aber stets splirbaren Liebe zu Jesus, im bezeichnenden Wunsch, in der Nahe zu ihm zu sein.

This paper discusses translations of biblical passages into Kashubian, which originated in the Lutheran circles between the 16th and the 19th centuries, followed by translations made in the Catholic circles in the 20th and the 21st centuries. The history of these translations has been divided into two periods: “old translations” and “contemporary translations.” The former comprise various bibli[1]cal texts preserved in manuscripts and printed monuments, which came into being between 1586 and the second half of the 19th century. The fundamental texts of this period include the works by Szymon Krofey (1586), Michał Pontanus (1643), and Perykopy smołdzińskie (1699–1701). The old translations were done from German in the Protestant circles in West Pomerania. In turn, the “contemporary trans[1]lations” of biblical texts into Kashubian embrace translations from the second half of the 20th century, which were produced in the Catholic environment of Gdańsk Pomerania: from Latin (Mk 4:3-20) by Alojzy Nagel (1973), from Latin (four Gospels) by Rev. Franciszek Grucza (1992), from Polish (the New Testament and the Psalms) by Eugeniusz Gołąbek (1993–2007) and my own translations from Hebrew and Greek (the Four Gospels, the Pentateuch, Ecclesiastes) prepared in 2001–2020.

This paper discusses translations of biblical passages into Kashubian which originated in Evangelical circles between the 16lh and 19th centuries. Although the tradition of translation dates back to the 16th century, translation of the entire Bible, or at least one complete biblical book, which would have originated in this particular environment has not been preserved. Presumably it never existed. The oldest translations of biblical texts into Kashubian were generally based on the German language. The first printed book with texts in Kashubian included, among others, eleven works defined as Psalms and a range of short passages originating both from the Old Testament and the New Testament. This very book was the Simon Krofey’s Hymnal published in Gdańsk in 1586. Translation of The Small Catechism of Martin Luther came out approximately half a century later, and similarly to the Krofey’s Hymnal it included many biblical passages. However, the biggest collection of biblical texts which has survived is dated for the turn of the 17th and 18* centuries. These texts are found in the so-called Smoldzinian Perikopes, containing lessons and Gospels for all Sundays and church holidays. Many smaller passages of the older translation of biblical texts represent only occasional translations of biblical passages incorporated in other religious texts. The first intended and methodical translation of texts from the Sacred Scripture into Kashubian was the collection of so-called Smoldzinian Perikopes. Research conducted on these translations allows to conclude that although authors of these translations did not translate from original texts, but in most cases from the German language, their translations of the Bible are characterised by a high degree of faithfulness to the thought of original texts. Moreover, accuracy and efforts to make the texts comprehensible and literary beautiful grant their authors the best testimony.

L'annalisi dei testi che riguardano la natura e il ruolo della Parola di Dio si concentra sui quttro testi dalla Prima Lettera di s. Giovanni (1,10; 2,5.7.14) perche solo in questa Lettera la parola logos si riferisce alla Parola di Dio. L' esegesi di quattro testi ci da una idea globale sulla natura e sul ruolo della Parola divina.Logos tou Theou appare come la rivelazione portata da Gesu in cui viene sottolineato il motivo soteriologico (1,10; 2,14) e il motivo dell'amore fraterno (2,5.7). La Parola di Dio si identifica con il precetto dell'amore vicendevole che condiziona l'identita cristiana. La Parola si rivela pure come la forza interiore che illumina il credente e che gli fa vincere il Maligno. In questo modo il suo ruolo per la Chiesa e didattico e formatrice.

The author of the article analyses eights passages from the Gospel according to St. John which contain quotations from the Book of Psalms. The quotations come from Ps 22,19 (Jn 19,24), Ps 41,9 (Jn 13,18), Ps 69,5 (Jn 15,25), Ps 69,10 (Jn 2,17), Ps 69,28 (Jn 19,28); Ps 78,24 (Jn 6,31), Ps 82,6 (Jn 10,34) and Ps 118,26 (Jn 12,13). As a result of the undertaken inquiry the author states that all the quotations from the psalms were reinterpreted in a specific theological perspective. The author of the Fourth Gospel was not interested in the meaning of the quotations in their original context but rather in the Christological thought embedded in them. From those psalms, read in a Christological key within a new context, emerges an image of Jesus who is the Son of God in an absolute sense (Ps 82,6), the Messianic King (Ps 118,26), who despite unjustified hatred on the part of the world (Ps 69,5), unbelief on the part of some of His interlocutors (Ps 78,24) and His awareness of the hostility of one of His disciples (Ps 41,10), zealously fulfills the Father’s plan (Ps 69,10), surrendering himself to all the humiliations (Ps 22,19) and tribulations of salvific passion (Ps 69,22). It should also be underscored that many exegetes interpret the content of those quotations not merely literally, i.e. by linking them to historical events, but expound their deeper spiritual sense.

This article aims to „The true light (Jn 1.9a). Jesus as the light in the Prologue of the Fourth Gospel”, was to explain the meaning of the symbol of the light connected with the person of Jesus Christ - the Logos in the Prologue of the Gospel of St John. The analysis of the text helped to establish that the author wanted to show the person o f Logos as a necessary condition of all life, and above all, the supernatural life (Jn 1,4). By revealing the divine life through the Incarnation, whose symbol is a light, he met with extreme hostility, which, however, is unable to destroy him (Jn 1,5). He is the light in an absolute sense (Jn 1,9). No one besides Him can not bestow the light, which in its fullest sense is identified with salvation. Father (John 5,31-32.37-38; 8,16-19), the Holy Spirit (Jn 15,26), the work of Jesus (Jn 5,36,10,25) and John the Baptist (Jn 1,7-8; 19nn) bear witness of His light, that people believed in him and thus have eternal life (Jn 20,31).
