Opis:: In the text were presented numerous and in-depth relations of the Russian emigration poet, for years staying in Paris, with Poland. Attention was drawn to the translation work and to the translation of Polish prose texts, above all distinguishing Gorbaniewska’s translation achievements in relation to the poets and the Polish poetry itself. The poetess’ articles, reviews and statements bringing the Russian reader closer to the Polish culture, historical and political events as well as current facts were also discussed. Gorbaniewska’s original poems devoted to Polish political activists, filmmakers, editors and representatives of literature were described.
