We have synthesized eleven numbers of 1-{[3-(furan-2-yl)-5-phenyl-4,5-dihydro-1,2-oxazol-4-yl]methyl}-4-methyl piperazines by hydroxyapatite catalyzed microwave assisted condensation method. The synthesized 1-{[3-(furan-2-yl)-5-phenyl-4,5-dihydro-1,2-oxazol-4-yl]methyl}-4-methyl piperazine compounds were characterized by means of their IR and NMR spectral data. The assigned infrared spectral νC=N, νC-O-C stretches(cm-1), NMR chemical shifts of isoxazoline (d) proton, isoxazoline (m) proton, N-CH3, C=N, C-NH2 and C-NH3 (δ, ppm) of these 1-{[3-(furan-2-yl)-5-phenyl-4,5-dihydro-1,2-oxazol-4-yl]methyl}-4-methyl piperazines were assigned and correlated with Hammett substituent constants, F and R parameters using single and multi linear regression analysis. From the results of statistical analyses, the effects of substituents on the above group frequencies were discussed.

A series of substituted of (E)-1-(5-chloro-2-hydroxyphenyl)-3-phenylprop-2-en-1-one compounds by cross-aldol condensation reaction of 5-chloro-2-hydroxy acetophenone with various substituted benzaldehyde in the presence sodium hydroxide (base). The synthesized substituted (E)-1-(5-chloro-2-hydroxyphenyl)-3-phenylprop-2-en-1-one compounds was characterized by physical constants, UV, FT-IR, 1H & 13C-NMR spectral data. All the spectral data of substituted (E)-1-(5-chloro-2-hydroxyphenyl)-3-phenylprop-2-en-1-one compounds has been Hammett correlation with linear regression analyses.

About nine (E)-(2,5-dinitrophenyl)-2-(substituted benzylidene)hydrazines have been synthesized by hydroxy apatite catalyzed condensation of 2,4-dinitrophenyl hydrazine and substituted benzaldehydes under microwave irradiation conditions. The obtained yields of these hydrazines are more than 85%. The purities of synthesized hydrazines are examined by the analytical and spectroscopic data reported earlier. The infrared spectral C=N, NH frequencies (v, cm-1) and the NMR spectral chemical shifts of CH, NH protons and carbons are assigned and are correlated with Hammett substituent constants, F and R parameter using single and multi-regression analysis. From the results of statistical analysis the effects of substituent on the group frequencies have been discussed. The antioxidant activities of these synthesized hydrazines were measured using DPPH radical scavenging method. The hydroxy- and methoxy- substituted hydrazines shows significant antioxidant activity.

Opis:
Some aryl pyrazolines including 3-(substituted phenyl)-5-(naphthalen-1-yl)-1-phenyl-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazoles were prepared by microwave irradiation promoted cyclization of aryl enones and phenylhydrazine in the presence of solid acidic bentonite/FeCl3 catalyst under solvent-free conditions. In this cyclization the obtained yields are more than 75%. The structural analysis of these pyrazoline derivatives were confirmed through analytical and spectral techniques. The effect of catalyst and solvent on this cyclization also investigated through the obtained yields. The antimicrobial activities of these pyrazoline derivatives were assessed through measurement of mm of zone of inhibition against their micro stains using well known Bauer-Kirby disc diffusion method.

In this work, an attempt was made to synthesized (E)-1-(2,4-dimethylthiazol-5-yl)-3-phenylprop-2-en-1-one by cross-aldol condensation reaction of 5′-acetyl-2,4-dimethylthiazole with various substituted Benz aldehyde in the presence base (sodium hydroxide). The synthesized (E)-1-(2,4-dimethylthiazol-5-yl)-3-phenylprop-2-en-1-one derivative was characterized by physical constants, UV, FT-IR, 1H-NMR & 13C-NMR spectral data. All the observed spectral data of substituted (E)-1-(2,4-dimethylthiazol-5-yl)-3-phenylprop-2-en-1-one compounds have been correlated with Hammett substituent constants(σ, σ+, σI & σR) and F and R parameters using single and multi-linear regression analyses and studied for their anti-microbial activities and compared with the standard drugs (Ciprofloxacin). Some compound of the series exhibited promising anti-microbial activity compared to standard drugs (Ciprofloxacin).
