Opis:
The aim of the study was to analyze teachers’ opinions about cooperation and friendship in the pedagogical team. Empirical data was obtained through a survey procedure. For the study we selected the method of diagnostic survey. Individual, explicit and categorized interview, based on the author’s questionnaire was used as the research technique. The research was attended by 41 qualified teachers, working in randomly selected primary schools in the Silesian Voivodship. Research explains that teachers who work in friendship-based relationships engage in collaborative teamwork more often. Assuming that the professional activities carried out in the structure of cooperation and cooperation bring the expected effects and contribute to the effective implementation of teaching and learning objectives, the conclusions of the study indicate that the emphasis should be placed on proper care, based on respect, openness, willingness to help and the kindness of the relations between teachers in the pedagogical circle of professionally active teachers.

The article presents research on the linguistic and didactic competences of academic teachers in a technical university as part of an EU project to improve the effectiveness of education of academic teachers. It indicates the relation between language and methodological competences in teaching content classes in English. Participants who rated their teaching competences more highly also rated their language competences more highly. Based on these findings, the authors make suggestions concerning the preparation of stafffor the university.
