Opis:: The paper presents the assessment of the correctness of the stiffness matrix for non-standard finite elements, which are membrane elements with additional, rotational degrees of freedom at a node. When applied to modelling, they make it possible to connect sub-areas with different degrees of freedom. Formulas for a mean value of elastic strain energy of the elements were derived, the values were compared with the density of elastic strain energy in a classical membrane state.
W prezentowanej pracy przeprowadzono ocenę poprawności macierzy sztywności niestandardowych elementów skończonych. Niestandardowe elementy skończone to elementy tarczowe z dodatkowymi rotacyjnymi stopniami swobody w węźle. Zastosowane w modelowaniu umożliwiają połączenie podobszarów o rożnych stopniach swobody. Wyprowadzone zostały wyrażenia na średnią wartość energii sprężystej ww. elementów, które porównano z gęstością energii sprężystej występującej w klasycznym stanie tarczowym.

Opis:: The paper presents the eigenvalue problem in the dynamics of the steel industrial hall with an internal handling system. The aim of the calculations was to determine the eigenfrequencies and eigenvectors for the structure of the hall adapted to a gantry operation. The analysis was performed by using FEM software, namely Robot. Among over a dozen calculated eigenvectors, four ones were chosen as the most representative for a lateral structural arrangement of the hall and its roof.

Opis:: The paper presents the problem of dynamic criterion of stability loss of industrial hall with internal transport. The analysis was performed with finite element method. As a result of the calculation the relationship of eigenfrequency and axial compressive force was presented. On the basis of these results fundamental recommendations formulated for designers of steel halls with internal transport.
W referacie przedstawiono zagadnienie dynamicznej utraty stateczności hali stalowej z transportem wewnętrznym. Analizę przeprowadzono metodą elementów skończonych. Jako wynik obliczeń przedstawiono zależność częstości drgań własnych konstrukcji od siły ściskającej w słupach konstrukcji. Na podstawie wyników analizy sformułowano podstawowe zalecenia dla projektantów konstrukcji hal stalowych z transportem wewnętrznym.

Opis:: The paper contains comparison of FEM and FDM applied in membranes. Innovative element of this calculation method includes replacing a membrane with a framed structure [1]. Sample membranes were tested by two methods, afterwards both results were compared in the state of stress and displacement, which allowed to draw the following conclusions regarding the usage of both methods.

Opis:: The paper provides an analysis of a membrane element with an additional rotational degree of freedom. Similar elements, the stiffness matrices obtained in an exact procedure, were investigated in other studies. The paper, however, analyses the membrane element stiffness matrix obtained in an approximate procedure with the use of reduced integration. Such an approach is an attempt at eliminating shear locking that occurs when a membrane element with additional rotational degrees of freedom is applied.
