TBN - Opis:
- During oil running in engine proceed in it negative chemical and physical processes named oil deterioration as a result conduct to replace motor oil. This process is caused by oil contamination; wear and tear improvements of oil and termooxidation. Result of these changes is characteristic signals corresponding with specified wavelength in absorption spectrum IR. Analysis of these spectrums gives essential information concerning dynamics of deterioration oil process in engine. Results measurement of total absorbance in IR spectral range in LOTOS SYNTETIC SAE 5W/40 API SJ/CF/EC oil sampled during running from a personal car in range 0-32 tys. km was presented in this article. Additional analysis is subjected an examination in a band 1828 - 1516 cm -1 because in this band absorb mainly oxygen groups (hydroxyl, ketone, aldehyde, carboxyl, ether, ester) which are formatted resulting oxidation oil during running. As a result of our tests it was stated high correlation total absorbance in bands 1828-1516 cm-1, 1748-1712 cm-1, 1656-1596 cm-1, 1600-1556 cm-1 with period time of the oil and chosen normative parameters for example TBN. It was also stated occurrence three periods of different growth dynamics of oxygen compounds concentration in oil testifying to ageing process in it.
