- Opis:
- The origin of anarchist thought can be already found in 19th century. The forerunners of anarchism were Pierre-Joseph Proudhon, Mikhail Bakunin and Peter Kropotkin. The main issue of this article is anarchism as a political thought, in which the idea of freedom is the superior principle. Anarchists want to live in the free society, without the state, the hierarchy, the church, the religion, the army. At present, anarchist organizations continue to exist in Europe. The anarchist movement did not play such a significant role as many other political and social movements. In Europe, it was functioning in a dispersed, often evanescent form with a diverse level of political radicalism. European anarchist movement is a part of the anti-globalisation movement. Contemporary anarchism consist of: anarcho-communism, anarcho-syndicalism, insurrectionary anarchism, anarcha-feminism, ecological anarchism. This case study is an illustration of the transformations and the challenges with which the anarchist movement in Europe was faced at the beginning of the 21st century.
