    Opis:
    The paper presents the origin of cyber warfare, which, beginning as innocent games, transformed into cyber crime, cyber terrorism, cyber espionage, cyber conflicts, and eventually into cyber warfare. The author discusses the first attacks on countries, on their essential infrastructure such as state institutions, banks, offices, nuclear power stations and citizens. The paper also contains predictions concerning possible events related to the discussed topic that might occur in the future.

    Opis:
    The paper shows the origins of the assessment process. It discusses the theoretical principles underlying assessment in a civilian environment. The author focuses on the work of the Analysis, Assessment and the Exercise Discussion Team, whose main purpose is to assess an exercise and the participants of the exercise. The paper presents the practical tools used in the Special Forces Component Command which are used to carry out assessment, including the work of the Authorial Team before the exercise is conducted, the exercise itself, and the conclusions concerning the completed exercise.

    Opis:
    The main goal of this paper is to discuss the essentials of human needs, as well as the opinions of psychologists and security management experts in this area. The article discusses the specifics of the Polish National Guard formation, and their tasks and challenges in particular. At the beginning, the author offers an explanation of the basic terminology concerning safety needs. The next part describes Nazi border provocation incidents before the outbreak of World War II. It also shows examples of unjustified bombings of Wieluń, called the Polish Guernica, where the main aim was to murder as many civilians as possible, the intention very similar to contemporary conflicts in Libya and Syria. The main part of the article describes the tasks of the National Guard and discusses both their military and non-military aspects. In the conclusion, the article highlights the challenges and makes an attempt to forecast their future.
