- The sales of round wood is determined by the forms of distribution, which are specific to the Polish market. The State Forests, National Forest Holding is the enterpise that has the main potential (forest area – 75% and sales – 95%) of wood material at its disposal. In pursuit of rational use of the quality of acquired round wood and in order to increase its price, the State Forests decided to sell high quality assortments in the systems of auction and submission. It is economically important both for the State Forests and for Poland, because the income from the sales of wood makes about 88% of total income of this strategically important institution in the national economy. Systematic changes in the structure of recipients confirm the right trend and distribution of round wood.
