- Purpose: The objective of the article is to present the quality of life in terms of residents in the example of a large city. Design/methodology/approach: Research was carried out remotely using an online questionnaire. A diagnostic survey method was used with the residents. The research topics are related to the quality of life of the residents, based on the current state of life and factors influencing the quality of life. Findings: The study found that the quality of life has a significant impact on the functioning of residents in their private and professional lives regarding living conditions in a large city. The conducted research shows that there are many problems related to the quality of life of the residents and that information on their existence may be valuable information for Municipal Office. Social implications: Social implications of the research were indicated. Attention was paid to the benefits of research for improving the quality of life in the city. Originality/value: The study highlights the need for comprehensive quality of life research conducted among residents. Methods of obtaining data from residents were proposed to Municipal Offices and the conditions for their use for the city's development were defined.
