The increase in air traffic requires organizational changes at the airport and near the airport. To ensure appropriate airport operating efficiency, it is becoming necessary to provide unobstructed flow of information between all parties involved in the process. Common decision-making process regarding operations carried out at an airport, based on legible information, may contribute to faster and more precise prediction of sequence of events. This article aims to present pre-departure sequencing method in the terms of the dynamic growth of airports. This method dynamically defines current sequencing of departing aircraft with consideration of time required to maintain minimum separation between subsequent take offs and evaluates runway occupancy regarding planned arrivals. Developed method uses criteria of reduction maximum delay on one handling position, which is starting runway in use. It is carried out by sequencing tasks, in accordance with non-decreasing requested times of completion. Greedy algorithm has been used to define sequence of carrying out take off operations based on the earliest possible time of the departure. Faced with dynamic growth of airports, this method may contribute to improvement of predictability of events, and thus facilitate proper decision making, which will allow managing airport traffic smoothly and without unnecessary downtimes.

In aviation, aircraft ground handling defines the servicing of an aircraft while it is on the ground and (usually) parked at a terminal gate of an airport. Ground handling operations include many activities: passenger handling, ground transport, assistance in blocking the aircraft and delivery ofreąuired equipment, loading and unloading of the aircraft, including provision and operation of required equipment, as well as transport of the crew and passengers between the aircraft and the terminal, transport of luggage between the aircraft and the terminal, catering. This paper presents a fragment of an analysis of the elementary operations performed at the apron and presents model of ground handling at the airport and stochastic analyses. The method of sohing the problem is based upon an analysis of the actual airport operations. During the investigation different ground handling processes schemes and elementary operations identified at the apron were analyzed. Random parameters of the duration ofeach action at the apron were identified. The focus was the problem of increase airport capacity for the ground airport operations. Problem of airport capacity is specifying as airside and landside. The authors present short description of method. It is present ground handling model and some of results of simulation.

Opis:
Many European airports are located in close proximity to residential or protected areas. Aircraft noise emissions caused by the landing and taking off of aircraft are a big problem in these areas. From an operational point of view, the method for reducing noise is to reduce traffic volume or change its organization, especially during the night. Some procedures and tools have been developed to support air traffic management in the implementation of operational constraints necessary to maintain noise at an acceptable level. The objective of this paper is to analyse the effectiveness of these tools. For this purpose, we have analysed existing methods of operational noise reduction, taking into account their influence on the structure, smoothness, punctuality and, especially, the safety of air traffic. As a result, existing risks have been identified, while methods have been proposed to combine two important air traffic service tasks: ensuring safety, while taking into account the environmental constraints, especially in relation to the acoustic climate.
