- The author presents some of the publications issued in GFR on the occasion of the European Year of Architectural Heritage. As regards historical monuments protection, GFR is a peculiar country, which is due to its administration: the whole of the country is divided into Lands and therefore iacks uniform legislation. The year 1975 was an occasion of a propaganda campaign planned on a wide scale. This found expression in numerous publications dealing with revalorization of historical urban districts and historical towns and with other matters connected with historical monuments protection..
