branch offices of foreign companies - Opis:
- The article analyzes one of the legal and administrative forms of running promotion and advertising activities by foreign entrepreneurs that are allowed and regulated by the norms of public economic law. Due to the scope of the issue and the nature of this study, the present discussion was limited to the basic problems connected with starting and running advertising activities by foreign entrepreneurs on the territory of Poland. Under the current law in force, there are no legal barriers preventing foreign entrepreneurs from setting up branch offices of their companies in Poland. In the times of the market economy, progressing globalisation processes, the concentration of capital and strong competition, the setting up of branch offices in foreign countries is undoubtedly significant because economic reasons prompt the entrepreneurs to widen the area of their business activity. This process should be accompanied by clear, coherent and stable business, trade and tax regulations as well as by a proper business policy created by the government.
