Opis:
W pracy przedstawiono próbę opracowania warstw uzupełniających przegród w budynkach zabytkowych, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem roli zaprawy cementowej z dodatkiem biowęgla. Oceniono również wpływ zaprojektowanej mieszanki na właściwości cieplne i zagrożenia mykologiczne restaurowanych przegród (pomieszczeń).
The paper presents an attempt to develop adscititious layers of partitions in historic buildings, with particular emphasis on the role of cement mortar with the including of biochar. The influence of the designed mixture on thermal properties and mycological hazards of the restored partitions (rooms) was also assessed. The main purpose of the work was to create an experimental basis allowing for the proper selection of the components of the mixture intended for restorations in the walls of historic buildings. Achieving the goal required: y analysis of the literature in question, standard recommendations for restoration and restoration works and methods of assessing the thermal, humidity and mycological conditions of historic buildings, y conducting own research and analysing their results, y original development of the mineral composition of the complementary mortar, optimal in terms of basic technical characteristics, y assessment of the suitability of cement mortar with the addition of biochar for use as a supplementary layer of masonry walls in historic buildings in terms of the analysed parameters, y carrying out control tests in selected buildings to verify selected features of the supplementary mortar used, y selection of an infrared correction filter for the most effective, according to the authors, location of thermal microstructures, moisture and salinity in heterogeneous partitions. The paper is of a research nature and focuses on analyses, field and laboratory research. It was prepared in an empirical model - the presented content was related to the actual technical condition of the buildings tested, and thus the theoretical assumptions were verified with practice. The scope of the work includes theoretical and experimental parts, which are presented in six chapters. A review and analysis of the current state of knowledge concerning destructive processes affecting historic buildings as well as methods of their repair was carried out. Field tests of the thermal, humidity and mycological condition of the external brick walls of the Bishop’s Castle and the Roman Catholic church of St. John the Baptist in Janów Podlaski. The requirements for complementary layers used in the masonry walls of historic buildings were described, and the optimal composition of the cement mortar mixture with the addition of biochar was designed and selected. The material properties and structure of the resulting composite were also tested, as well as practical recommendations for the design of supplementary layers.
