L’article présente deux études les plus récentes: P . Lamarche Zacharie IX—X IV. Structure littéraire en messianisme (Études Bibliques), Paris 1961 et de B. Otzen, Studien über Deuterosacharja (Acta Theologica Danica, vol. VI), Copenhagen 1964, dont les auteurs pensent pouvoir resoudre le problème assez difficile de la composition littéraire de Zacharie 9—14. P. Lamarche recourt à l’hypothèse d’une structure littéraire artificielle faisant appel à des complexes harmonieusement groupés à l’aide d’articulations et de parallelismes. B. Otzen trouve, par contre, en Deutéro-Zacharie les quatres traditions (Zach 9—10, 11, 12—13 e t 14) découvrant à la base de chacune d’elles le „kultisch-liturgisches Schema”. L’article a pour but d’attirer l’attention sur le fait que selon B. Stade (1881) ce sont les premiers exégètes qui parlent de l’unité de composition littéraire dans Zacharie 9—14. Ils en soulignent le caractère eschatologique e t apocalyptique par les groupements des vers qui s’organisent à l’intérieur en une construction littéraire harmonieuse et très expressive en chiasme. C’est justement leur méthode qui nous aide à nous familiariser avec cette manière de composer et à pénétrer dans la pensée de l’auteur inspiré. Ces études par l’analyse des structures de chaque partie et du livre tout entier prouvent que Zacharie 9—14 appartient à la littérature de l’époque perse.

The article is part of the introductory chapter of a monograph on the subject: The Word of Jahwe about Nations in the Books of the Prophetic Writers. The author gives a review of the opinion of the exegetes of our century, on the question of whether the prophets were interested, and to what a degres, in political metters especially in those which concerned the relationship of the chosen people to its neighbours. The opinions of the exegetes in this matter are of a very wide range, from the extremity (the prophets are agents of foreign powers or they are utopians) — to level — headed opinions generally prevailling today, according to which the prophets were men of God engaged in political affairs in so far as the necessity of taking an interest in those problems was dictated by their mission and calling. The author considers that this statement is of great importance for further studies, because it should facilitate the correct interpretation of the prophecies of those men of God as to foreign nations.

Der Verfasser befasste sich mit dem Problem der altteatameatllichen Zitaten im Evangelium von Matthäus. Zuerst gibt er ihre annähernde Zahl an, dann bespricht er damit verbundene literarisch-hermeneutische und theologische Fragen. Im erten Teil seiner Ausarbeitung interessiert er sich für die Funktion der Formel, die die Zitaten des Alten Testaments einführt, ebenso wie für Ort, Sprachgewand und Kontext der zitierten prophetischen Aussprachen des Alten Testaments im Evangelium. Nach dem Verfasser ist die einführende Formel ein Ausdruck der Überzeugung (Nachdenken) des Evangelisten, dass es Zwischen der neutestamentlichen Wirklichkeit und damit, was ehemals als die Propheton Voraussagen eine besondere Verbindung gibt. Die Unterbringung dieser Zitate, die literarische Form, und sogar ihre Zahl weisen darauf hin, für welches Ziel das ganze Evangelium dienen soll. Bei der Besprechung dieser theologischen Bedeutung der altestamentlichen Zitaten gibt es im zweiten Teil kurzer Übersicht der wichtigeren Hypothesen zu diesem Thema und behauptet, dass die katholischen Gründe für Matthäus grundsätzliches Prinzip war im Hinweisen auf die Äusserungen des Alten Testaments. Der Verfasser meint, dass man nicht auf ein gewisses prinzipielles Motiv im Alten Testament hinweisen kann. Das entscheidende Element war also die Bedürfnis der Voraussage des Gotteseriches auf Erden für Heiden und Juden, was in sehr freier aber nicht herabsetzender Methode getan wurde, die den authentischen Sinn des Wortes sowie des Typus’ im begeisterten Text des Alten Testaments und so Sinn des Lebens, wie auch Botschaft Jesu Christi darstellt.

The author conducts an exegetical and theological analysis of the texts of Is 50,4-9; 52,13-53,12; Zc 12,10 and 13,7, and Ps. 22,2-22. In this analysis he wants to answer three questions: what kind of person is the Messiah as described in the texts analysed: what does the salutary function of the protagonist of those prophecies consist in: and is there any influence of those Old Testament texts on the descriptions of Christ’s passion in the gospels. The exegesis of the mentioned texts allows the author to state, that God’s Servant, the Messiah, will be a teacher and a charismatist, but his proper mission will consist in subjecting himself to the will of the redeeming God who through His Servant’s poverty, suffering, loneliness and death as well as through the humiliation even after death, is going to redeem all the mankind. Hence the essence of the Servant’s salutary function consists in physical and moral suffering and in giving his life as a propitiatory sacrifice for human sins. The Servant will accept his mission voluntarily. Being the oblation, he will at the same time have the function of an advocate. And God will accept his sacrifice, forgiving the sin and excusing those who are guity. Old Testament quotations in the gospels show that the evangelists knew the Old Testament prophecies and they referred some of them directly to Christ, but it cannot be stated, that those prophecies had some distinct influence on the formulation of the descriptions of Christ’s passion.

The following texts: Dan 12, 1-3; 2 Mac 7, 9.14 and Wisd 2, 23 and 3, 4 preach the doctrine about faith in the resurrection of good and bad people alike, and lead up to the truth about universal resurrection. Resurrection it a deed of God Creator and Salvator who gives eternal life to every man as a person. Resurrection to life is an award for present life in tune with God’s law. The resurrection of sinful people leads them to life in eternal humiliation. The Book of Wisdom speaks not only about immortality, e.g. eternal life in an intimate relationship with God, through which it takes on a sense of the reality being truly spiritual and supernatural.

Der Autor führte im ersten Teil des Artikels eine kurze Exegese der Texte Ml 2, 17-3, 5 und 3, 13-24 durch und machte deutlich, wie Maleachi den "Tag Jahwes" darstellt. Im zweiten Tell besprach er die Eigenschaften des "Tages Jahwes", die nur bei Maleachi vorkommen. Der Text Js 40, 3-6 konnte dem Propheten die Idee eines Boten Jahwes nahelegen, In seinem Verständnis eines Gottesmannes, dessen Aufgaben denen der Sendung von Mose und Elija entsprechen werden.

After a short introduction (pp. 1-5) dealing with the role of lay people in the preservation of the spirit of pure Yahwism among the Judeans in the post-exilic period, the author describes the reformist religious activites of Nehemiah (pp. 5-13). The account is based on the Book ot Nehemiah. He concludes by pointing to the most important traits of Nehemiah’s character. He believes that the strictly missionary activity of Ezra took place in the days of Nehemiah and was inspired by the latter.

Die literarische Analyse der Perikope Joel 4,1-21 beginnt mit der Untersuchung ihres Kontextes und der Gliederung des Inhalts. Der Autor bemerkt, dass die inhaltliche Gliederung Züge eines chiastischen Parallelismus aufweist. Die kurze exegetische Analyse der einzelnen Verse lässt erkennen, dass der Prophet über das Gericht über die Völker als Zeichen des Tages Jahwes spricht. Unter dem Tag Jahwes versteht der Autor jenes Moment des Eingreifens Jahwes in der Endzeit, in dem Gott über die das Böse symbolisierenden sündigen Völker Gericht hält und gleichzeitig als Erlöser eine neue Wirklichkeit inauguriert, die die Verwirklichung des Reiches Gottes unter den Menschen bildet. Im letzten Teil des Artikels kommt der Autor zu der Feststellung, dass die besprochene Perikope zu den eschatologischen Texten gezählt werden muss, die bestimmte apokalyptische Merkmale haben.
