- The main aim of the study was to find some relations between loneliness and life satisfaction in different groups of late-ages women. Methods and groups: the research group consisted of 125 persons (62 widows and 63 spouses) aged from 62 to 90. The data was collected using following tools: Life Satisfaction Scale by Diener, Emmons, Larson and Griffins; Loneliness Research Scale by Dolega and poll created by authors. Results: Using parametric and nonparametric tests it was found there were same significant differences between widows and spouses in loneliness, as well as in the case of active and non-active women. There were no significant findings in life satisfaction at all. Discussion: It seems loneliness and life satisfaction are independent factors
