    Artykuł skoncentrowany jest na problemie dialogicznego wymiaru wymiany. Autor traktuje wymianę jako bardziej adekwatną dla nauki społecznej jednostkę analizy od decyzji, wokół której skoncentrowana jest ekonomia głównego nurtu. Artykuł ma dwa cele. Po pierwsze, jest próbą zwrócenia uwagi na negatywną funkcję współczesnej ekonomii, która koncentrując się na decyzji i na konstruowaniu zdepersonalizowanych, holistycznych struktur teoretycznych, traci z pola widzenia swój właściwy wymiar społeczny. Po drugie, jest próbą personalistycznego spojrzenia na wymianę jako rodzaj relacji międzyludzkich i ukazania jej dialogicznego charakteru poprzez odwołanie się do filozofii E. Lévinasa. Wychodząc od ekonomii personalistycznej jako teorii powinności działania ze względu na rozwój osoby, autor pokazuje wymianę jako formę dialogu, w której wyraża się wzajemna odpowiedzialność za siebie wymieniających się i która przez to ma wspólnototwórczy charakter. Wskazuje tym samym na wymianę jako na istotny warunek rozwoju osoby.
    The article focuses on the problem of the dialogical dimension of exchange. The author treats the exchange as a unit of analysis more relevant to social science than the decision around which mainstream economics is concentrated. The article has two goals. Firstly, it is an attempt to draw attention to the negative function of modern economics, which focuses on decisions and the construction of depersonalized, holistic theoretical structures and loses its proper social dimension from view. Secondly, it is an attempt to look at the exchange of personalities as a kind of interpersonal relations and to show its dialogical character, by referring to the philosophy of E. Lévinas. Starting from the personalist economics as a theory of the duty of action due to the development of the person, the author shows the exchange as a form of dialogue in which mutual responsibility for each other has its expression and which thus has a communityforming character. It indicates the exchange as an important condition for the development of the person.

    The article is an attempt to look at the relationship between the state and the market on the example of the prohibition of trade on Sunday through the prism of the personalistic economy. The article has a metaeconomic character. Its aim is to show that state intervention in the market mechanism in the form of the prohibition of trade on Sunday is not aimed at trade as an economic activity, but is a natural consequence of the community-forming function of the state. In the first part, the author presents a personalistic approach to the state and the market as well as relations between them. In turn, in the second part, he describes the essence of the Sunday dispute in the context of a personalistic approach to the market and shows that state intervention, consisting in protecting Sunday from being limited to the seventh working day, protects it against rationalization and marketization, i.e. its derealization.

    The aim of the paper is an attempt to show that the personalist economy – by referring to the idea of a person, containing and expressing all the dimensions of being human in relation to the world of people and things – provides the ability to integrate issues of ethics and economics. To achieve this goal, first, the concept of personalist economics will be presented. Then, ideas common for economics and the ethics of space, which can be a basis for integrating their issues, will be identified and characterized. Finally, the author tries to present the consequences which may result from such an integration, both for the economy as a science and as a practice of everyday life.

    Teza, wokół której skoncentrowana jest treść eseju, brzmi następująco: PKB jest miarą, która sama w sobie nie jest błędna, ponieważ mierzy to, co jej twórcy chcieli, aby mierzyła. Jest jednak miarą, która nie jest adekwatna do aktualnej wiedzy o świecie i współczesnych zmian społeczno-gospodarczo-technicznych. Jest wreszcie miarą, która ogranicza horyzonty myślenia o relacjach ludzkich, czego konsekwencją jest brak rozwoju ekonomii jako nauki. Przedmiotem rozważań nie jest sam miernik PKB, ale jego istota i funkcja. Autor nie ma na celu poszukiwania „wad konstrukcyjnych” w samym mierniku ani próby domontowywania nowych elementów, lecz uchwycenie istoty sporu o PKB i jego konsekwencji. PKB traktuje jako punkt wyjścia do tego, żeby poruszyć kwestie bardziej fundamentalne, a które zostały przez logikę PKB pominięte. W niniejszej publikacji Autor prezentuje personalistyczną wizję zmian, której punktem wyjścia jest człowiek i jego rozwój. Nie chodzi w niej o narzucenie człowiekowi absolutnej wizji i schematu gospodarki, do którego musiałby się dostosować, ale o wytworzenie klimatu, w którym mógłby się rozwijać, w którym to, co produkuje i konsumuje, będzie mu służyć, a nie zniewalać go.
    The thesis around which the content of the essay is focused is as follows: GDP is a measure that in itself is not wrong, because it measures what its creators wanted it to measure. However, it is a measure that is not adequate to the current knowledge about the world and contemporary socio-economic and technical changes. Finally, it is a measure that limits the horizons of thinking about human relations, which results in the lack of development of economics as a science. The subject of consideration is not the measure of GDP itself, but its essence and function. The author's aim is not to look for "constructional defects" in the meter itself, nor to try to add new elements, but to capture the essence of the dispute over GDP and its consequences. He treats GDP as a starting point to address more fundamental issues that have been omitted by the logic of GDP. In this publication, the author presents a personalistic vision of changes, the starting point of which is man and his development. It is not about imposing an absolute vision and economic scheme on man, to which he would have to adapt, but about creating a climate in which he could develop, in which what he produces and consumes will serve him, not enslave him.
