- The aim of this study was to recreate the spatial development of the Czarna Przemsza River valley, shaped as a result of high intensity human impact. Reconstruction of the study area landscape was based on cartographic sources referring to particular study periods, i.e. the 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. The final effect of the interpretation of the maps was to draw up the land cover profiles, which enabled a comparative analysis of landscape changes within the valley. The study revealed differences between the two sides of study area and showed that the diversification identified is also evident today.
