- In the following article the author presents basic directions of the European Union’s policy regarding migration and third-country nationals, as well as displays the significance of education in achieving said objectives. This article presents a legal framework of the European Union’s educational policy in migration’s context and shows the problem of immigrants’ integration through education in the culturally varied societies. The author draws attention to the significance of the integration’s model in which intercultural education plays a leading role. The author describes the difficulties associated with implementation of the European Union’s educational policy’s assumptions in local environments. In the article the author presents the conclusions of these issues’ analysis in order to indicate the main areas to improve.
