- The paper constitutes a semantic analysis of the unit of language containing the verb of perception czuć (feel). The aim of the analysis is to establish the proper shape of the lexical unit. The author aubstantiates the recognition of two shapes: [ktoś] czuje [coś] [czymś] and [ktoś] czuje [coś] [gdzieś], and then she demonstrates the semantic adequacy of these two, while simultaneously, pointing to the difference in the form of the argument relating to the sensory organ. The remainder of this article consists in the comparison of Polish units with their English and French equivalents. As a result of this comparison, certain similarities between the Polish and foreign units are indicated: the similar three argument shape of the discussed units, as well as, possible alternative formal realizations of the argument relating to the sensory organ.
