In the study, a personal information form was used to identify the university, department, class and sports branches of participants. The communication skills scale developed by Ersanlı and Balcı in 1998 was used to determine communication skills. For the determination of team workability, the Team Workability Scale developed by Tuncer in 2008 was used. 165 Students from Atatürk and Kafkas University participated in the study. Frequency analysis and parametric statistical analyses were used in the study. As a result of the study, it was determined that the participants had moderate levels (X=3,56±,861) of communication skills and the majority of the participants have responsibility (n=105 %64). According to the variables of the communication skills and team workability of the students who studied sports education in universities, the communication skills levels did not change statistically according to the universities and departments variables of the participants. The highest average of communication skills amongst the participants are mental skills. (X=3,86±,414). The lowest average of the communication skills of the participants are behavioral. (X=2,44±,616). On the other hand, it has been determined that the team sports athletes among the participants have high averages on Collaboration and Teamwork in team workability. (n=98 %59,39).

Opis:
This study aims to research the opinions of students attending the School of Physical Education and Sports at Atatürk University and Marmara University with respect to the universities’ corporate image. The questionnaire which was developed by Örer (2006) with additions introduced by Kaya (2013) was used to acquire data about corporate image amongst universities. The SPSS 16 statistical packet program was used to evaluate the data. During the research, analysis of frequency was used to define demographical features, the t-test to define the difference between corporate images depending on universities and gender, one way analysis of variance (Anova) to define differing empathy levels depending on age, grades and departments, and the Tukey test was applied in order to establish which group causes the dissimilarity. The research indicates that there are meaningful dissimilarities in sub-dimension of service (p=,000) communication (p=,000), belonging (p=,012), satisfaction (p=,000) and management perspective (p=,000). On the other hand there is no meaningful dissimilarity in support sub-dimension (p=,168). (p<0,05).

Opis:
The aim of this study is to explore the effects of optimism and loneliness levels of the students at the Faculty of Sports Sciences. For the purposes of data collection, two instruments were used: the ‘UCLA Scale’ which was developed by Russel et al [7] revised by Russel et al [8] and adapted into Turkish by Demir [9]; and the Optimism Scale which was developed by Balcı and Yılmaz [10] in order to explore students’ levels of loneliness and optimism. These questionnaires were administered to a total of 375 students consisting of 224 male and 151 female students. For data analysis, the SPSS statistical packet program was used for frequency analysis, and independent t-tests, one-way ANOVA and Tukey test were run to find out the source of the difference among different groups of participants. In addition, correlation analysis was performed to reveal the relationship between the students’ Levels of Optimism and Loneliness. Significant differences have been seen in the levels of optimism and loneliness among participants according to gender. (p<0,05)According to this, averages of female students are higher than male students in levels of loneliness. In terms of levels of optimism, averages of male student are higher than female students.
