- The aim of this work was to study the effect of new conventional and natural products used for pre-harvest protection on control of postharvest diseases, storage life and quality of three species of vegetables: carrot, celeriac, and parsley. The vegetables were protected during growing season and the last spraying was before harvest. The vegetables were storage in cool room at 0 ºC and relative humidity 90-95%. The best efficacy against diseases after long time storage of carrot, celeriac and parsley roots showed conventional products containing: trifloxystrobin, pira-clostrobin with boscalid, azoxystrobin, and azoxystrobin with clorothalonil, and natural products: tea extract, nitrogen fertilizer with microelements, hydrogen peroxide, orange oil, and strawberry extract. These products were very effective in the disease control (S. sclerotiorum and B. cinerea) during long time storage of vegetables and influenced their quality in the significant way.
