    W artykule przedstawiono koncepcję pomiaru dokonań wraz z możliwością jej zastosowania w zarządzaniu łańcuchem dostaw. Zaprezentowano również praktyczny model pomiaru dokonań w łańcuchu dostaw. Model ten zawiera trzy kluczowe obszary do optymalizacji: transport, zasoby oraz IT. Do każdego z wymienionych obszarów zaprezentowano przykładowe wskaźniki pomiaru. Model ten może, po dokonaniu niewielkich modyfikacji mających na celu uwzględnienie lokalnej specyfiki partnerów łańcucha, znaleźć zastosowanie w polskich przedsiębiorstwach zorganizowanych w łańcuchy dostaw.
    The article presents performance measurement concept with its application possibility in supply chain management. A practical performance measurement model in supply chains was also presented. Stated model comprises three key areas – transportation, resources and information technology optimization. Against each of aforementioned areas exemplar performance indicators were set. Contemplated model, pursuant to insignificant adjustments implementation, aimed to consider local aspects of supply chain partners, can be applicable in polish companies, that constitute supply chains.

    Background: Due to the high potential to gain competitive advantage in today's global market, supply chains play a critical role in the current industry. Understanding maturity and its features in the context of the supply chain can help companies achieve higher levels of performance. To assess and measure supply chains, a wide variety of supply chain maturity models have been developed to help companies analyze the existing state in the supply chain, allowing for the achievement of higher levels of maturity and providing guidance in the development of an improvement roadmap. Methods: The review spans from the early 1990s to 2021 and examines research carried out and published in the literature, including papers on conference proceedings, articles in journals, and technical reports. The previous models, stages, dimensions (areas/elements), and methods are included in this review. Research gaps are also noted, analyzed, and discussed. Results: The purpose of this study is to perform a comparative analysis of supply chain maturity models to explore the special characteristics of the studied models, which help to identify the differences and similarities between each other, and also to present the various focus areas related to the supply chain. The results show the existence of a large variety of models with a trend to the customs of models for specific area of supply chain. We also identified that most of the models have similar maturity level names and number since they are developed based on previously existing maturity models. The results of this paper are meant to serve as a reference guide for a detailed understanding of documented supply chain maturity models and help practitioners to seek better alignment in regards to supply chain maturity models characteristics. Conclusions: Supply chains play an important role in the market rivalry nowadays. Understanding maturity and its components in the context of supply chain management can help companies perform at higher levels. Despite the high number of maturity models developed in the field of supply chain, the result of this review shows that there is a need for new studies to fill the gaps in the existing work and to take into consideration the complexity faced in the management of supply chain networks.

    Jak dowodzą badania wielu uznanych ośrodków badawczych na świecie, zastosowanie nowoczesnych rozwiązań technologicznych (IT) jest jednym ze strategicznych czynników sukcesu w zarządzaniu łańcuchem dostaw. Aby być w stanie rozwijać technologię w łańcuchach dostaw i skutecznie zarządzać tym aspektem, konieczna jest umiejętność pomiaru poziomu zaawansowania technologicznego. Celem tego artykułu jest analiza sposobu mierzenia dojrzałości technologicznej w łańcuchach dostaw funkcjonujących w Polsce. Prezentowane wnioski oparte są na badaniach empirycznych przeprowadzonych na próbie 79 wysokich rangą menedżerów zajmujących się obszarem zarządzania łańcuchami dostaw, reprezentujących największe firmy produkcyjne i handlowe w Polsce.
    Many researches conducted by reputable research centers worldwide prove that implementation of modern information technology is one of the strategic success factors in supply chain management. In order to be able to develop IT solutions in supply chains as well as manage IT effectively managers need to measure IT advancement in adequate way. The main aim of this article is to analyze the way of measurement of IT maturity in supply chains in Poland. Presented findings base on the empirical research conducted on the sample of 79 senior level managers responsible for logistics/supply chain management and representing the largest production and trade companies in Poland.

    This paper aims to provide a performance measurement system for the automotive spare parts supply chain. We focus on an independent distributor belonging to an independent channel. The framework encompasses different performance aspects for a high supply chain visibility, as well as the required categories, subcategories and key performance indicators for the automotive spare parts supply chain performance measurement. The framework is the first contribution that advances the performance measurement in the automotive aftermarket and allows assessing the performance of the automotive spare parts supply chain as a whole.

    Supply chain activity control is an essential part of Supply Chain Management (SCM), ensuring compliance with customer requirements. This paper presents a case study into the control of SCM activities. The study analysed two areas involving two different SC links associated with order picking, and outsourced truck freights, respectively. The studied company had problems with these links. An approach based on developing a KPI (Key Performance Indicator) was proposed to address the issues. Consequently, different affected processes were analysed and characterised, considering the relevant data for defining a KPI. Then, strategies and methods were devised for data collection and processing regarding the system’s current state. Finally, tools were designed to facilitate the interpretation of the system’s current state and thus, pave the way for the decision-making process on corrective measures.

    The main objective of the study is to examine and explain the structural relationship between and among the operational capability, Total quality management, supply chain practices, and operational performance. Enterprise can achieve a high level of performance, depending on their internal capabilities. The result is crucial as it not just supports managers in recognizing the way to leverage their internal capabilities through establishing relationships with partners in the supply chain but also signifies the need to sharpen these capabilities for expertise. Inimitable resource base could be created through the support of key partners and integration of internal capabilities. This resource base is crucial for achieving competitive advantage. Empirical support has been provided by this study about the mediating influence of TQM on the relation of supply chain operations capability and performance. The findings are in line with the competence-based, resource-based perspective of the firm and resource advantage theory (linked with the success of manufacturing). Firms are allowed by SCM practices to benefit from manufacturing capabilities by coordination with key supply chain members and leveraging expertise. The SEM-PLS is used as an analysis tool, which is among the most robust structural equation modelling technique. The study has used the survey-based methodology to achieve the objectives of the current study. The random sampling is used, and the response rate is 54 percent which is considered higher than the minimum response rate. The findings reveal that sustainable competitive advantage could be achieved through supply chain management. Further, evidence has been provided by the study for the direct influence of SCM practices and operations capability on the firm’s performance.
    Głównym celem badania jest zbadanie i wyjaśnienie strukturalnego związku między zdolnością operacyjną, zarządzaniem całkowitą jakością, praktykami łańcucha dostaw i wydajnością operacyjną. Przedsiębiorstwo może osiągnąć wysoki poziom wydajności, w zależności od ich wewnętrznych możliwości. Wynik jest kluczowy, ponieważ nie tylko wspiera menedżerów w rozpoznaniu sposobu na wykorzystanie ich wewnętrznych zdolności poprzez nawiązywanie relacji z partnerami w łańcuchu dostaw, ale także oznacza potrzebę zaostrzenia tych umiejętności w celu uzyskania wiedzy specjalistycznej. Niepowtarzalną bazę zasobów można stworzyć dzięki wsparciu kluczowych partnerów i integracji wewnętrznych możliwości. Ta baza zasobów ma kluczowe znaczenie dla osiągnięcia przewagi konkurencyjnej. Badanie to zapewniło wsparcie empiryczne dotyczące pośredniczącego wpływu TQM na stosunek zdolności i wydajności operacji łańcucha dostaw. Ustalenia są zgodne z opartą na kompetencjach, opartą na zasobach perspektywą firmy i teorią przewagi zasobów (związaną z sukcesem produkcji). Firmy mogą dzięki praktykom SCM korzystać z możliwości produkcyjnych poprzez koordynację z kluczowymi członkami łańcucha dostaw i wykorzystanie wiedzy specjalistycznej. SEM-PLS jest wykorzystywany jako narzędzie analityczne, które należy do najbardziej niezawodnych technik modelowania równań strukturalnych. W badaniu wykorzystano metodologię opartą na ankiecie, aby osiągnąć cele obecnego badania. Wykorzystywane jest losowe próbkowanie, a odsetek odpowiedzi wynosi 54 procent, co uważa się za wyższe niż minimalny odsetek odpowiedzi. Ustalenia pokazują, że trwałą przewagę konkurencyjną można osiągnąć poprzez zarządzanie łańcuchem dostaw. Ponadto badanie dostarczyło dowodów na bezpośredni wpływ praktyk SCM i zdolności operacyjnych na wyniki firmy.
