    Opis:
    Caring sensibly for our health means caring for the supreme gift that is life, bestowed on us by God. Physical activity is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle, affecting not only physical fitness, but also helping to maintain the so-called psychological well-being promoting spiritual development. Every teacher employed in a modern school should also be a facilitator of physical activity among pupils. Naturally, religion teachers can also become involved in educational activities in the health domain by implementing programmes promoting active lifestyles. This assumption should be reflected in the latest religion teaching documents containing fundamental principles and indications that provide structure to the teaching of religion, as well as in textbooks. The aim of this study is to indicate the provisions concerning physical activity in the most recent documents programming the teaching of religion, which are: the Core Curriculum for Catechesis of the Catholic Church in Poland, Program for teaching Roman Catholic Religion in kindergartens and schools, and selected textbooks on religious education published by Wydawnictwo Katechetyczne Sp. z o.o. in Warsaw. Based on the analysis of the indicated documents and textbooks, conclusions and postulates are proposed for the correlation of school religious instruction with education in order to promote health-oriented attitudes among students.
    Rozsądna troska o nasze zdrowie to dbanie o najwyższy dar, jakim jest życie powierzone nam przez Boga. Aktywność fizyczna jest niezbędnym elementem zdrowego stylu życia, decydującym nie tylko o sprawności fizycznej, ale także pomaga zachować tzw. dobrostan psychiczny sprzyjający rozwojowi duchowemu. Każdy nauczyciel zatrudniony we współczesnej szkole powinien także być promotorem aktywności fizycznej uczniów. W sposób oczywisty również katecheci mogą włączyć się w działania edukacyjne w obszarze zdrowia poprzez realizowanie programów promujących aktywny styl życia. Założenie to winno mieć odzwierciedlenie w najnowszych dokumentach katechetycznych zawierających fundamentalne zasady i wskazania, które nadają kształt nauczaniu religii, a także w podręcznikach. Celem niniejszej pracy jest wskazanie zapisów dotyczących aktywności fizycznej w najnowszych dokumentach programujących nauczanie religii którymi są, Podstawa programowa katechezy Kościoła katolickiego w Polsce, Program nauczania religii rzymskokatolickiej w przedszkolach i szkołach, oraz wybrane podręczniki do nauki religii wydane przez Wydawnictwo Katechetyczne Sp. z o.o. w Warszawie. Na podstawie analizy wskazanych dokumentów i podręczników, zaproponowano wnioski i postulaty dotyczące korelacji szkolnego nauczania religii z edukacją, służące promowaniu postaw prozdrowotnych wśród uczniów.

    Udział w lekcjach religii powinien pomagać młodym ludziom w rozwijaniu duchowej sfery osobowości, w odnalezieniu własnej drogi do Boga oraz zrozumieniu celu i sensu życia. Zważywszy, że duchowość jest istotnym czynnikiem chroniącym w profilaktyce uzależnień i zachowań ryzykownych młodzieży, bardzo niepokojący jest, odnotowywany w ostatnich latach, spadek frekwencji uczniów szkół średnich na katechezie. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie oczekiwań młodzieży względem katechezy w zakresie programu nauczania, kompetencji merytorycznych katechetów i stosowanych na lekcjach religii metod pracy. W wyniku badań sondażowych, przeprowadzonych w grupie 70 absolwentów szkół średnich, ustalono, że młodzi ludzie są bardzo zainteresowani religią i rozwojem duchowym, mają w tym zakresie wiele oczekiwań, ale również wiele pytań i wątpliwości. Oczekują więc od katechetów rzetelnej wiedzy i otwartości na dyskusję, czego niestety często brakuje im na lekcjach religii. 
    Participation in Religious Education classes should supposedly facilitate the spiritual formation and development of young people’s personality, finding their own path to God, as well as understanding their purpose and meaning of life. Since spirituality is a significant factor in prevention of dependence and high-risk behaviours of adolescents, the decrease in the number of secondary education students who participate in Religious Education classes is most alarming. The purpose of this paper is to present the expectations of young people towards catechesis in terms of the curriculum, competences of the educators, and the working methods employed during the classes. The results of the survey carried out on a group of 70 secondary school graduates have revealed that young people are deeply interested in religion and spiritual growth. They have high expectations but are also full of questions and doubts. Therefore, they expect that catechists demonstrate sound knowledge and the ability to hold an open-minded discussion. This is, unfortunately, where Religious Education classes often fail them.

    Współczesne dokumenty Kościoła, nawiązując do tradycji wcześniejszych, chętnie podejmują temat wychowania, zarówno mając na uwadze wychowanie ogólne człowieka, jak i wychowanie religijne. Zagadnienie to jest również częstym tematem wypowiedzi papieży, jak i refleksji katechetycznej. Opracowanie prezentuje panoramę posoborowego nauczania Kościoła zarówno dotyczącą określenia i istoty wychowania, relacji między wychowawcą a wychowankiem, jak i określającą cele wychowawcze i sposoby ich osiągnięcia. Zebrane wypowiedzi składają się na całościową wizję wychowawczą charakteryzującą się szacunkiem dla procesu wychowania, ale i wychowanków, a także odnoszącą ich zarówno do doczesnego, jak i wiecznego celu wychowania.
    The contemporary documents of the Church, referring to earlier traditions, willingly take up the subject of nurturing. The subject discusses both general and religious education. This issue is also a frequent topic of the Pope’s statements as well as catechetical reflections. The study presents a plethora of the post-Conciliar Church teaching about the definition and the essence of education, the relationship between the educator and education defining educational goals and the ways to achieve them. The statements build a comprehensive educational vision characterized by the respect for the process of upbringing and foster children. It also refers to the purpose of education, both temporal and eternal.

    The time of early education of a child in school is a time of intense intellectual and spiritual work. It carries a lot of changes in the child’s personal, family and school life. This article is giving the attention to the problem of values in the child’s life. It is also an attempt to answer the following questions: how does the time of early education introduce a child in early school age to the world of religious values, what is the role of the family and teachers during this period.

    The article starts with a presentation of various definitions of aggression. Then the author presents different divisions of aggression, the factors that cause it, and the circles, in which aggression most often occurs. The next stage is presenting aggression as moral evil, to which a believer may not be indifferent. Counteracting aggression and stopping the aggression that already exists, is the last part of the present article. The definitions quoted in the article allow one to understand better not only the concept of aggression, but also its causes and results. The knowledge of the specific circles and of the factors causing aggression is very significant in the educational process. Every aggressive act, or even the intention to commit it, is morally evil. The awareness of this should incline both the teachers and the pupils to counteract aggression, as well as to refrain from aggressive acts, or weaken the aggressive acts that already exist.

    Współcześnie obserwujemy kryzys zaangażowania rodziców w proces wychowania dzieci i młodzieży w wierze. Jednym z symptomów jest małe zainteresowanie rodziców współpracą z katechetą. Aktualne zatem i potrzebne są różne refleksje naukowe na temat współpracy katechety z rodzicami katechizowanych uczniów. Artykuł podejmuje tę problematykę w odniesieniu do nowej „Podstawy programowej katechezy Kościoła katolickiego w Polsce” (2018), która zacznie obowiązywać od 1 września 2020 roku. Najpierw przybliżone zostało rozumienie terminu „współpraca katechety z rodzicami”. Za autorami nowego dokumentu katechetycznego wyakcentowano wspólne działania i dialog na rzecz wychowania w wierze dzieci i młodzieży. Uwzględniono również ewangelizację, katechizację i pedagogizację rodziców. Następnie zwrócono uwagę na zakładane w podstawie programowej cele i treści, które są istotne w tej współpracy. Katecheta ma wspierać rodziców w wychowaniu religijnym potomstwa poprzez przypominanie im o zadaniach wychowawczych, edukację religijną rodziców, a także ewangelizację. Służą temu m.in. spotkania formacyjne i ewangelizacyjne. Tak określone formy, według autorów nowej podstawy katechezy, są istotne we współpracy katechety z rodzicami. Wymagają bezpośrednich kontaktów oraz budowania relacji opartych na dialogu i zaufaniu. Autorzy podstawy programowej katechezy sceptycznie podchodzą do kontaktów pośrednich (np. za pomocą dziennika elektronicznego). Dokonując oceny wszystkich propozycji z zakresu współpracy katechety z rodzicami, zawartych w nowej podstawie programowej katechezy, sformułowano kilka postulatów pastoralnych. Wskazano m.in. na potrzebę rzetelnej diagnozy za pomocą badań empirycznych. Za ważne uznano również wykorzystanie nowych technologii w dialogu z rodzicami oraz inicjowanie działań ewangelizacyjnych i pedagogizację rodziców. 
    Currently one can observe the recession in involvement of parents in the process of education of their own children in faith. One of the symptoms is lack of interest of parents to actively cooperate with religion teachers. That is why the reflection on cooperation between parents and religion teachers is necessary and required. This article focuses on this issue in the light of The new core curriculum of the Catholic Church in Poland (2018), which will take its effect on the 1st of September of 2020. At the beginning the understanding of the term "cooperation of parents and religion teacher" was described. Following train of thoughts of authors of the new document the work and dialog focused on education in faith of children and youth were emphasized. The author of the article took under consideration evangelization, catechization and education of parents. Then the focus moved toward goals and content, within the core curriculum itself, that are crucial to this kind of cooperation. Religion teacher must support parents in raising their children in faith by reminding them about their parental duties as first educators as well as through faith education of parents and their evangelization which can be accomplished through formation meetings. Such forms, according to authors of the new curriculum, are crucial in cooperation of religion teacher and parents. They need personal contact and relationship building, based on dialog and trust. Authors, though, are skeptic about indirect contact with parents (such as on-line class registry).             To sum up all of the proposals of the cooperation of religious teachers and parents included in new core curriculum, some pastoral postulates were formulated. The need for thorough diagnosis through empirical exercises has been highlighted. New technologies as ways for dialog with parents were deemed important, as well as initiating evangelistic actions and religious education of parents too.

    Around the concept and process of evangelization, that is around both the theory and practice of this process, a lot of doubts have appeared in recent years. Nearly all educational, formative activities undertaken in the Church, not only with respect to children and young people, but with respect to adults as well, are defined with the use of this word. However, in the practice of the ancient Church propagating Christ, conversion, preparation for baptism, catechesis presenting the meaning of rites and introducing one into the life of the Church were integrally connected with the evangelization process. This process has been radically reversed in modern times. In parish catechesis basically there is no evangelization process preceding it; also teaching religion at school cannot undertake all evangelization tasks, as the nature of education does not allow this. Since young people constantly need adults who accompany them and educate them in the proper way, the Salesian order whose vocation is Christian education of children and young people, should be open to evangelization of parents and adults, as it is only such evangelization that may contribute to efficient educational work.
