Opis:: The article offers a look at the issue of sensitivity in the context of media and media spectacles representing the suffering of others. It refers to Hannah Arendt’s concept of politics of pity, further developed in the context of media and their representations of reality by Luc Boltanski, pointing to dilemmas experienced by a spectator watching the suffering of others. The text discusses three regimes of representing the suffering of others, as described by Boltanski and Lilie Chouliaraki, i.e. denunciation, sentimentalism and sublimation. Adopting a different approach to the spectator’s situation and using different means of expression, they outline possible directions and at the same time signal specific dilemmas related to the spectator’s moral involvement in media spectacles of the suffering of others.

Opis:: Ostap Ortwin’s concept of tragic theatre has a deeply anthropological, universal and overall human aspect. The author derives the modern concept of tragedy from the human psyche, where he places the source of doom. He sees its implementation in the iron logic of action and the discrepancy between the ideal, the imagined, and reality. In the article I deal with the matter of three fundamental aspects, in which Ortwin puts humanity in his essays and studies. The Lvovian critic’s theory of theatre is analyzed in the context of the Nietzschean concept of the Dionysian, the figure of Prometheus and the notion of tragedy.
Koncepcja teatru tragicznego Ostapa Ortwina ma wymiar głęboko antropologiczny, uniwersalny, ogólnoludzki. Dramaturg wyprowadza nowoczesne pojęcie tragizmu z psychiki człowieka, tam umiejscawia źródło fatalności, a jej realizację widzi w żelaznej logice czynów oraz w rozdźwięku między ideałem a rzeczywistością, między tym, co wyobrażone a tym, co realne. W artykule podejmuję kwestie zasadniczych trzech wymiarów ról, w których Ortwin rozpatruje/obsadza człowieka w swoich esejach i studiach. Analizę teorii teatralnej lwowskiego krytyka przeprowadzam w kontekście Nietzscheańskiej kategorii dionizyjskości, figury Prometeusza i pojęcia tragizmu.

Opis:: Artykuł dotyczy układów interakcyjnych w polskim teatrze dramatycznym. Autorka, na podstawie źródeł zastanych i wywołanych, analizuje następujące sytuacje: 1. aktorzy oddziałują na widzów 2; widzowie oddziałują nawzajem na siebie; 3.widzowie oddziałują na aktorów i 4. aktorzy oddziałują nawzajem na siebie. Charakteryzuje specyfikę owych interakcji poprzez następujące pojęcia: interferencja społeczna, syntonia, facylitacja społeczna, próżniactwo społeczne, deimmersja, defokusacja, uskrzydlenie grupowe. Nie zamierzam mówić o instytucji czy organizacji formalnej, ale o miejscu prezentacji spektaklu, o sytuacji, gdy naprzeciw siebie „stają” aktor i widz, i ten pierwszy podmiot zaczyna coś przedstawiać, prezentować, kreować, a drugi dokonuje aktu recepcji. Ta sytuacja konstytuuje teatr.
The article concerns interactive systems in the Polish drama theater. The author, based on existing and evoked sources, analyzes the following situations: 1. actors influence viewers 2; viewers interact with each other; 3. viewers interact with actors and 4. actors interact with each other. The author characterizes the specificity of these interactions through the following concepts: social interference, synthonia, social facilitation, social idleness, deimmersion, defocused, group winging. I do not intend to talk about an institution or a formal organization, but about the place where the performance is presented, about the situation when the actor and viewer "face each other," and the first entity begins to present something, present, create, and the second performs the act of reception.
