Opis:
Article presents verification of LiFePO4 battery simulation model. Verification of battery model was made to assure real parameters of battery cells used for simulation. Simulation model of battery and test stand, similar to the stand used for test on a real battery, was designed in AMESim software. Data of the battery and single cell of battery characteristics were verified to assure true parameters for further tests of power transmission system of the vehicle. For verification theoretical model of the battery, real tests of battery discharging were performed in laboratory. Test stand used for battery discharging was build. Test stand was equipped in water resistor enable to set up various loads of battery. Electrical parameters of battery and battery cell were collected by voltage probes and current clamps and stored in database. Test was performed in similar condition, each time starting with fully loaded battery. Tests ends when battery management system shut down battery main switch. Tests conditions, virtual and real, were performed during similar battery load. Comparing data from unloading tests in laboratory enable to verify data of battery and battery cells designed in AMESim software. Such verification provide reliable model of the used battery. Model of the battery can be used in further simulation test of vehicle, where battery is installed.

Opis:
The paper proposes a stand that can be used for the testing of propellers and rotors with diameters up to 2.4 m, whose areas of application encompass, inter alia, vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) type multi-rotor drone systems. The presented solution allows for testing propellers in systems with electric motors. To a certain extent, it is possible to achieve an increase in the measuring range by changing electric motors, power supply systems and measuring sensors. The paper presents several solutions for test stands that can be applied in the testing of propeller parameters, and commercially available propellers have also been deployed in the testing routines. The paper briefly presents the concept of the stand and its design, as well as the principle of operation and structural calculations underlying its functioning, after which the numerical model of the test stand is explained. The article then demonstrates the particular results of the test stand model’s functioning using the EMRAX 188 electric motor and two propellers, namely a commercial Aerobat propeller and a composite propeller designed and manufactured at the Łukasiewicz - Institute of Aviation. Thus, the paper presents both the theoretical results that follow from the model and the results of experimental research.

Opis:
This paper presents an empirical propagation path loss model for corridors in office buildings. The proposed model estimates changeable character of radio signal attenuation, based on a special approach as a combination of the simple free-space model with the author’s model. The measurement stand and measurement scenario are described. The propagation path loss research have been made in corridor for different frequencies in range 30 MHz to 290 MHz. A significant number of measurement results were allowed an analysis of the radio wave propagation conditions in the environment. In general, the propagation path loss increases for each measurement frequencies with length of propagation route. Based on measurement data, the new empirical propagation path loss model was developed. For this purpose, the regression analysis was made. The novelty of this model is that it could be used for estimate propagation path loss in measured environment for different radio wave frequencies. At the end, in order to justification the practical usefulness of described method for estimate a radio wave attenuation, the statistical evaluation was made. Thus, the results of the statistical analysis (ME, SEE and R2 values) are satisfactory for each measured radio wave frequency.

Opis:
The aim of this paper is analysis of the possibility of determining the internal structure of the fibrous composite material by estimating its thermal diffusivity. A thermal diffusivity of the composite material was determined by applying inverse heat conduction method and measurement data. The idea of the proposed method depends on measuring the timedependent temperature distribution at selected points of the sample and identification of the thermal diffusivity by solving a transient inverse heat conduction problem. The investigated system which was used for the identification of thermal parameters consists of two cylindrical samples, in which transient temperature field is forced by the electric heater located between them. The temperature response of the system is measured in the chosen point of sample. One dimensional discrete mathematical model of the transient heat conduction within the investigated sample has been formulated based on the control volume method. The optimal dynamic filtration method as solution of the inverse problem has been applied to identify unknown diffusivity of multi-layered fibrous composite material. Next using this thermal diffusivity of the composite material its internal structure was determined. The chosen results have been presented in the paper.
