Opis:
A neural network structure of Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) is proposed which could be used to predict the temperaturę and humidity of other key parts from the temperature and humidity data of some parts of the human body when wearing tight sportswear, so as to realize the temperature and humidity data prediction of all key points of the human body. The temperaturę and humidity of different people wearing tights were collected by DHT sensors. The experimental results show that the LSTM neural network structure proposed has higher prediction accuracy than other algorithms, and the model evaluates the feasibility of temperature and humidity data of tights in a state of motion, which facilitates the study of dynamic thermal and humid comfort and reduces the time cost of analyzing the temperature and humidity distribution and changing the law during human movement. It will effectively promote the study of temperature and humidity changes when people wear sports tights, provide theoretical reference for the study of human skin temperature in the field of sports medicine, and provide practical guidance for the application of human skin temperature changes in sports clothing production, diagnosis and prevention of sports injuries.

The Joint Research Project METEOMET - "Metrology for Meteorology" realized in the frame of the European Metrology Research Programme (EMRP) is described in the paper. The project is focused on the traceability of measurements involved in the climate changes: surface and upper air measurements of temperature, pressure, humidity, wind speed and direction, solar irradiance and reciprocal influences between measurands. It includes development and testing of novel instruments as well as improved calibration procedures and facilities for ground based observations, including in-situ practical calibrations and best practice dissemination. The project consortium is based on 18 National Metrology Institutes (NMIs), three un-funded partners and several collaborators, such as universities, research centers, meteorological organization and institutions, from Europe and other non-European countries. Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica (INRiM) in Italy is the project coordinator. Three Polish organizations participate in the project: the Central Office of Measure (MG-GUM), the Institute of Low Temperature and Structure Research (INTiBS) and the Wrocław University (UWr).

Opis:
The variability in the temperature and Relative Humidity (RH) observed within Lagos State, a coastal region in Nigeria, is investigated using data from Nigeria Meteorological Agency (NIMET) for 1980 to 2010. The results reveal an annual mean value of 27.20°C and 83.01% for the temperature and RH respectively and an increasing trend in RH over the study period while such rising trend in the mean temperature is reversed from 2005 to 2010. The findings show an inverse relationship between the temperature and RH while it further indicates that low temperature is associated with increased rainfall under the accompanying cloudy condition and vice versa. These observations are supported by the strong correlation coefficients between the RH and the rainfall (0.72) and that between the RH and the temperature (-0.95) while -0.59 is obtained between the rainfall and the corresponding temperature. The correlations show that the impacts of the precipitation on RH are stronger than the effects it has on the temperature while both temperature and RH strongly depends on each other. Hence, under a future global warming, extremely warm atmospheric condition characterized by high RH in the coastal region could cause heat stroke, discomfort and health problems among the inhabitants. However, the area becomes conducive and attractive to tourists under moderate RH and good temperature.

Podczas nakładania powłok lakierniczych, istotnym parametrem procesu może być wilgotność powietrza. Problem dotyczy również lakierni renowacyjnych. Wilgotność powietrza może mieć również wpływ zarówno, na jakość powłok lakierniczych jak i komfort pracy lakiernika. W artykule omówiono potrzeby oraz metody pomiarów wilgotności renowacyjnej w kabinie lakierniczej. Szereg wyników pomiarów rejestrowanych w różnych warunkach pracy kabiny lakierniczej mogą posłużyć do utworzenia sprawdzonego i wiarygodnego modelu numerycznego wilgotności w przestrzeni roboczej kabiny lakierniczej. Model ten może stanowić jeden z modułów kompleksowego numerycznego modelu symulacyjnego kabiny lakierniczej.
During spray painting application one of important environmental parameter is the air humidity. It is also important at refinishing process. The air humidity has an impact on coatings quality and painter comfort. The paper presents the methods and reasons of air humidity measurement inside refinishing paint spray booth. The measurement data recorded at the different work conditions can be used to create a numerical model of air humidity inside the paint spray booth. The model can be used as part of complex simulation model of paint spray booth.

The aim of the article was to verify the hypothesis that humidity, temperature and light con- ditions play a fundamental role in the distribution of Frullania dilatata within the forest complexes in the Wigry National Park. 41 monitoring localities were selected in places of epiphytic liverworts occurrence (22 sites with F. dilatata, 19 – without these plant). Humidity and temperature were recorded hourly during one year. Light conditions on the tested sites were determined on the basis of hemispherical photos. Additional parameters were calculated based on the digital terrain model in the SagaGis program. The results indicate that the hypothesis is false.

Stwierdzono, że istnieje zależność jakości, zdefiniowanej jako zespół cech mających wpływ za trwałość produktu, od badanych parametrów. Nie jest ona jednak liniowa dla badanej technologii aglomeracji.
Research on influence of straw humidity on the quality of briquettes when applying different temperature of briquetting process has been carried out. Relationship between quality and searching parameters has been stated. Furthermore the quality has been defined as a number of features affecting product durability. However, the quality turned out not to be linear in case of researching agglomeration technology.

Objectives: The objective of this study was to investigate variants of case-crossover design for assessing correlations between counts of health events over time and exposure to ambient air pollution. For illustrative purposes, daily emergency department (ED) visits for depression among females were considered. Materials and Method: Ambient nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) was used as a principal ambient air pollutant. In addition, sulphur dioxide (SO₂) and carbon monoxide (CO) were considered. Different configurations of the control periods (every 1, 2, …, 10 days) and different forms (linear, natural splines) of meteorological factors in the applied conditional logistic regression models were used. The sequence of overlapping age intervals was defined ([0, 19], [1, 20], and so on) and each age group was analyzed separately. The results for the defined age sequences allow identifying age ranges in which the effects are strongest. Results: Consequently, for example, different age ranges for patients for which ED visits for depression were correlated with NO₂ and SO₂ were identified. This age-interval difference explains the very often observed phenomenon whereby two air pollutants used in one model may not show correlations with health outcomes. In this situation they affect separate age groups. The results also show dependency on number-defined control periods for the applied case-crossover technique. The opposite statistical conclusions may be generated by using different control schemas. Conclusions: The results support the hypothesis that ED visits for depressive disorder may be correlated with exposure to ambient air pollution.

Opis:
Celem badań było poznanie warunków pracy w zakładzie produkcyjnym – piekarni. Zmierzono stężenie pyłu całkowitego oraz parametry mikroklimatu takie, jak: temperatura i wilgotność. Pomiary wykonywano co dwie godziny w ciągu zmiany roboczej, w przypadku zapylenia każdy pomiar stężenia był powtarzany. Na podstawie uzyskanych wartości zapylenia, temperatury i wilgotności przeprowadzono analizę zmieniających się warunków w ciągu zmiany roboczej oraz porównano otrzymane wyniki z normatywami higienicznymi obowiązującymi w polskim ustawodawstwie prawnym.
he purpose of the research was to investigate working conditions in the plant – bakery. The study consisted of measuring the concentration of total dust and microclimate parameters such as temperature and humidity. The measurements were taken every two hours during the shift. In case of the dust concentration, the measurements were repeated twice. The results of dust concentration, temperature and humidity were compared with the values of hygienic standards in force in the Polish law.
