    Właściwie określony i realizowany system konserwacji, wpływa bezpośrednio na stan oświetlenia drogowego. Do badan wybrano jedną z popularnych opraw oświetleniowych, która nie była poddawana zabiegom konserwacyjnym. Określono jak zmieniła się bryła fotometryczna oprawy oraz jak to wpłynęło na stan oświetlenia. W omawianym przypadku, wyczyszczenie klosza oprawy oświetleniowej spowodowało wzrost strumienia świetlnego o 225%. Przeprowadzone badania jednoznacznie potwierdziły konieczność wykonywania zabiegów konserwacyjnych opraw oświetlenia drogowego.
    Properly defined and implemented maintenance system directly affects the conditions of road lighting. One of the most popular luminaire dedicated for road lighting has been selected for this study. This luminaire has not been cleaned properly due to the maintenance system. The changes in luminous intensity distribution of this luminaire has been determined as well as the impact of these changes on the lighting conditions of the chosen road. It turned out that cleaning the luminaire caused an increase of its luminous flux by 225%. The tests confirmed clearly that there is a strong need to carry out the maintenance system carefully in the area of road lighting. The tests confirmed that the lack of regular maintenance procedures may result in lack of meeting the standard requirements.

    Opis:
    The maintenance system is a key system that provides continuity and safety of the operation of production systems and that affects the safety of people working in these systems. At the same time, the maintenance system is a set of work processes carried out by people under specific environmental conditions, using specific equipment and within a specific organizational and management structure. The purpose of this article is to identify the main management factors that affect occupational safety and to rank these factors in terms of their effectiveness in ensuring safe maintenance, using the grey systems theory. Based on the literature analysis, 12 key management factors were identified and then subjected to expert assessment. In order to rank the factors, a decision model based on the grey systems theory (GST), i.e. systems with incomplete and uncertain information about structure and behavior, was developed and verified. The use of GST in the area of ensuring safety in maintenance is original. The findings of the article will be very useful for managers in implementing safe maintenance systems in various sectors of the economy.

    Opis:
    The multirole F-16 is the most advanced aircraft in the Polish Air Forces. It has been equipped with the very modern, sophisticated and advanced turbofan engine F100-PW-229. Due to the fact, that there is only one engine, its reliability, durability efficiency and performance are the crucial factors for the safety reasons. In the article authors researched maintenance system of the F100 turbofan engines, which are built on the multirole F-16 aircraft. For the study purposes F100 maintenance system model has been created. From this model, the main analysis domain was derived, comprising “Major engine objects discrepancies removal” process. Considering such an analysis domain, on the basis of the schematic diagram of the hazard identification process, authors presented the following procedures: tools preparation for the hazard sources identification, hazard sources identification, hazard sources grouping and hazards formulation. The main goal of this article was to provide hazard identification process results as hazard specifications, which include: a group of hazard sources, hazards formulation and the most probable/predictable consequences, severities and losses/harms of the hazard activation.
