    This article presents the analysis and assessment of the labour market at the time of implementing the system of market economy in Ukraine. The analysis is conducted based on the principles of new institutional economy. The objective of the study is to identify the main trends of the economic development and labour market to analyse public policy in the area of employment and provide some of recommendations for improving labour market in the current socioeconomic conditions. The study has been based on the available statistical data as well as national and foreign literature with a particular focus on the new institutional economy. Also state legislation concerning labour market and employment in Ukraine has been referred to. The analysis and assessment of the status of employment and the functioning of labour market in Ukraine concerned the period from 2010 to 2014. Until 2013 both the number of employment and the employment rate increased slowly but systematically. In 2014 a rapid labour market collapse occurred. Transformations of labour market and rationalisations of ployment are related to structural transformations and the implementation of the system of market economy. New legislative basics and institutional changes ought to be continued while taking into account the need of qualitative changes and purposeful shaping of policy of labour market expansion.
    Przedmiotem pracy jest analiza i ocena rynku pracy w warunkach wdrażania systemu gospodarki rynkowej na Ukrainie. Analiza jest prowadzona z uwzględnieniem zasad nowej ekonomii instytucjonalnej. Celem pracy jest rozpoznanie głównych trendów rozwoju gospodarczego i rynku pracy, analiza polityki publicznej w sferze zatrudnienia i przygotowanie rekomendacji dla usprawnienia rynku pracy w aktualnych warunkach ekonomiczno-społecznych. Praca wykonana w oparciu o dostępne dane statystyczne oraz krajową i zagraniczną literaturę przedmiotu, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem nowej ekonomii instytucjonalnej. Wykorzystano także legislację państwową dotyczącą rynku pracy i zatrudnienia w Ukrainie. Przeprowadzono analizę i ocenę stanu zatrudnienia i funkcjonowania rynku pracy na Ukrainie w okresie 2010-2014. Do 2013 r. zarówno liczba zatrudnionych, jak i stopa zatrudnienia systematycznie, chociaż powoli wzrastały. Natomiast w 2014 r. nastąpiło gwałtowne załamanie rynku pracy. Przekształcenia rynku pracy i racjonalizacja zatrudnienia przebiegają w powiązaniu z przekształceniami strukturalnymi i wdrożeniem systemu gospodarki rynkowej. Nowe podstawy legislacyjne i zmiany instytucjonalne winne być kontynuowane z uwzględnieniem potrzeby zmian jakościowych i celowym kształtowaniem polityki rozszerzania rynku pracy.

    Opis:
    Many studies on middle income trap draw attention to the product trap that can be expressed as the fact that countries are stuck in the production and export of unsophisticated products. In this sense, it is stated that the role of a country in the production and export of sophisticated goods is one of the determinant factors to increase the level of income. In the literature, the concept of economic complexity, which is expressed as gaining competitiveness of complex products in terms of production and export, is noteworthy in recent years. In this framework, relationship between the per capita GDP and the economic complexity is examined with regression analysis in this study for selected countries with high-level of income. In the analysis, in which random coefficient panel regression model is applied, a significant relationship was found between the two variables for Austria, Finland, Hong Kong, Japan, Norway, Singapore and Sweden.

    The article presents the problem of structuralism in cultural anthropology as an example of interpretation in the humanities. The main goal is a critical description of Edmund Leach’s proposal put forward in his Against Genres: Are Parables Lights Set in Candlesticks or Put Under a Bushel? The proposed method, as well as its application to biblical texts, is analysed from the perspective of philosophy of science. The analysis leads to the description of areas in which the author breaches the rules of the method proposed by himself.

    W referacie porównano, możliwe do uzyskania w warunkach przemysłowych, parametry jakości ciętych powierzchni, wyznaczonych na krawędziach typowych konstrukcyjnych materiałów metalowych. Celem działań eksperymentalnych było udzielenie pragmatycznej odpowiedzi na pytanie o wynikowe chropowatości powierzchni podczas cięcia laserowego i plazmowego dla identycznych elementów wykonanych ze stali niestopowej S235JRG2 oraz austenitycznej nierdzewnej 0H18N9. Zaprezentowano wyniki wielowariantowych prób przecinania metodami skoncentrowanej wiązki energii (plazma, laser), pokazując różnorodne możliwości kształtowania geometrii powierzchni obrabianych elementów. Publikacja ma charakter prezentacji praktycznego doświadczenia przemysłowego i formułuje utylitarne wnioski.
    The report compares possible to the obtainment, in industrial conditions, parameters of the surfaces quality, on edges in typical constructional materials of metal industry. Allowing the pragmatic answer on the question, about the roughness of the surface, while laser and plasma cutting. Details executed from coal steel S235JRG2 and stainless steel 0H18N9. Showing the varied possibilities of formation the geometry of the surface. The publication has the character of the practical industrial experience and formulates utilitarian conclusions.

    Artykuł w sposób syntetyczny prezentuje przebieg i efekty przekształceń strukturalno−własnościowych, jakie dokonały się w minionym dwudziestoleciu w sektorze elektroenergetycznym w Polsce ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem ich wpływu na bezpieczeństwo energetyczne. Pierwsza część pracy, dla lepszego zrozumienia celów reformy energetyki, przybliża pojęcie bezpieczeństwa energetycznego i prezentuje kilka jego ujęć definicyjnych. W kolejnych częściach autor charakteryzuje sytuację sektora elektroenergetycznego na początku przemian systemowych oraz cele polityki państwa związane z jego reformą. Charakterystyka ta jest następnie podstawą do prezentacji wniosków z własnych badań nad przebiegiem i efektami reformy elektroenergetyki w odniesieniu do stanu bezpieczeństwa energetycznego Polski głównie z punktu widzenia odbiorcy energii. Tekst kończy analiza głównych uwarunkowań procesów przekształceń strukturalno-własnościowych w badanym sektorze wraz z syntetycznym podsumowaniem.
    The article describes the progress, directions, and effects of structural and ownership transformations in the power sector in Poland in the past two decades, with a particular emphasis on their impact on energy security. In order to explain the objectives of the energy market reform, the paper introduces the concept and definition of energy security. The author characterizes the situation of the power sector at the beginning of the Polish political transformation, and the objectives of the government policy related to the reform. He uses the characteristics to present his own conclusions of the study on the effects of the reform in the power sector with regard to the condition of the Polish energy security, mainly from the point of view of energy consumers. The text closes with an analytical presentation of the main determinants of the structural transformation processes in the power sector in Poland, completing it with a short summary.

    The article presents problems of unemployment in the districts of the coastal gminas in West Pomerania Voievodship. The region is characterized by high touristic attraction and considerable volume of investment into touristic services. Besides rapidly developing areas, there are also agriculture districts characterized by the necessity to increase incomes of the inhabitants and improve the condition of infrastructure. The aim of the article is to answer the question: does tourism in its economic aspect stimulate economic performances and in consequence cause a considerable decrease of unemployment in the described region. Analysis includes differences of unemployment intensity and its structural factors that allow to identify the causes and also to define options and directions of further transformations.
    Województwo zachodniopomorskie pełni w przestrzeni społeczno-gospodarczej kraju wiele znaczących funkcji. Do tych, dla których po roku dziewięćdziesiątym powstały sprzyjające warunki rozwoju, należy niewątpliwie funkcja turystyczna, wyraźnie skoncentrowana tu w nadmorskiej strefie rekreacyjnej. Wśród licznych korzyści wynikających z rozwoju turystyki, najczęściej wymienia się te związane z jej funkcją ekonomiczną, często wskazując, że turystyka przyczynia się do redukcji bezrobocia i tworzenia nowych miejsc pracy w branżach obsługujących bezpośrednio lub pośrednio uczestników ruchu turystycznego. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań stwierdzono, że gminy o bardzo dobrze rozwiniętej funkcji turystycznej, charakteryzujące się wysoką liczbą miejsc noclegowych (zwłaszcza całorocznych – sanatoria, zielone szkoły itp.) cechuje większa dynamika spadku poziomu bezrobocia w okresach ożywienia gospodarczego. Jednak rosnące uzależnienie gospodarki lokalnej od zewnętrznego popytu na przybrzeżne walory rekreacyjne i usługi turystyczne powoduje w znacznym zakresie sezonowość dochodów mieszkańców i sezonowy charakter pracy w usługach turystycznych. Pociąga to za sobą duże wahania poziomu bezrobocia w ciągu roku oraz znaczący jego wzrost w okresie dekoniunktury. W gminach o charakterze rolniczym lub z dużym udziałem rolnictwa niemożność rewitalizacji rynku pracy po dawnych strukturach pegeerowskich oraz brak integracji gospodarki żywnościowej z turystyką w dalszym ciągu stanowią problem. W gminach słabiej wykorzystywanych turystycznie wystąpił większy stopień utrwalenia zjawiska bezrobocia, co wskazuje na jego wyraźnie strukturalne podłoże. Mieszkańcy i władze tych terenów najczęściej opatrują możliwości zwiększenia dochodów i poprawy sytuacji na rynku pracy w lepszym zagospodarowaniu turystycznym, co z kolei może powodować zagrożenie inwestycjami i działaniami obniżającymi walory rekreacyjne, ze względu na dużą atrakcyjność tych obszarów i brak podstawowej infrastruktury technicznej. Niedostatek miejsc pracy występuję także na obszarach o bardzo dobrze rozwiniętej funkcji turystycznej, co jest wynikiem uwarunkowań makroekonomicznych. Bezrobocie na tych terenach ma jednak w większym stopniu charakter koniunkturalny, na co wskazuje większą płynność rynku pracy.

    Opis:
    This article explores a theatre performance (National Theatre Pécs, 2003, dir. Iván Hargitai) working with a 1999 Hungarian translation of Hamlet by educator, scholar, translator and poet Ádám Nádasdy as a structural transformation (Fischer-Lichte 1992) of the dramatic text for the stage. The performance is perceived as an intersemiotic translation but not as one emerging from a source-to-target one-way route. The study focuses on certain substructures such as the set design and the multimedial nature of the performance (as defined by Giesekam 2007), and by highlighting intertextual and hypertextual ways of accessing this performance-as-translation it questions the ‘of’ in the ‘performance of Hamlet (or insert other dramatic title)’ phrase. This experimentation with the terminology around performance-as-translation also facilitates the unveiling of a layer of the complex Hungarian Hamlet palimpsest, which, as a multi-layered cultural phenomenon, consists of much more than literary texts: its fabric includes theatre performance and other creative works.
